This is unworkable, because as I stated earlier, bullies target those who are physically or psychologically least capable of defending themselves. Exactly. I know this girl who got beat up all the time in school. Could she "just fight back"...  [Read More]

Just as an aside, the logical extension of this concept to the international realm would be that you should support armed intervention in Iraq to oust the suppressive Baath regime and help liberate the Iraqi people. Nice try. Consider all the variabl...  [Read More]

All it takes is that bystanders stop them and that teachers and school staff punish them as they should be punished. I don't think that criminal records or expulsions are the way to go though. Damn right. About expulsion, I'm less sure. If bullyin...  [Read More]

I just scanned trough some reviews (thanks to Darth Maul for the links), and I conclude that space battle will be downright awesome! Why? Asteroid fields block line of sight, damage larger ships such as shuttles, and prevent capital ships from pass...  [Read More]

Yep I told you this is how it would work. Now just prey you have to take down neutral bases and an army before you can control multiple planets. It will, according to the same review. They also said they hadn't determined what those armies would be,...  [Read More]

I hope it's not too pitched. If resource income is dependant on planets owned alone, that's pitched gameplay - if you start winning, you keep winning, and nothing can stop you. Like in Force Commander. I want to manage planets so that I have a slig...  [Read More]

I'd prefer if it was more of an incremental thing, like in Stars!. That is, instead of building one single mine to get resources, you built several mines, each of which incrementally increased your resources income. Instead of building one factory &q...  [Read More]

Taipei 101's Web Site (http://www.tfc101.com.tw/english/). Ol' USA has a carrier group in the Strait, last time I checked. Not to fight the People's Army/Navy (PLAN), but more as a deterrant. Whenever I read about this I always get the image of a...  [Read More]
