"model" is "Modell" in german. So you can say: Dieser Flammenwerfer ist ein richtig gutes Modell. This flamethrower is a really good model. Like a german comedian said, this is "deutsch fьr Fortgeschrittene - german for ru...  [Read More]

MUCH BETTER! For the skin I suggest take some pics of Obi from the Ep1 DVD and compare it to yours, so some details and special characteristics of Obi-Wan's face can clearly be worked out. And @Toonces: I know you are THE MAN for getting models inga...  [Read More]
Originally posted by Toonces Yeah, you can alpha those out :) Actually, I'll detach the two things and rig them seprate from the head so you'll be able to switch it on and off with a .skin file Ahhh, great! Then I will make a young emperor clone...  [Read More]
Hey, any chance I may get this model without this padawan-hairtail? I'm pretty sure the model is perfect for a young emperor-clone. So I would really like to skin this one. What do you think? http://www.theforce.net/timetales/tt2-4/CLONE.JPG http://...  [Read More]

Okay, that part with the free webspace was a good idea. I threw something together that may solve the problem. It's the work of some minutes, so it can be improved ;) , but this was just to show what I mean. I think a table with a preview, author an...  [Read More]

Isn't there anyone here who has a ftp server with unlimited traffic? We could throw together a small site with just the best models linked, so it's not too much work to upload them and we don't have to wait so long when a model is finished. If someo...  [Read More]

COOOL. The model looks perfect, absolutly like Mara. I have read only the books with her, not the comics, so I have my own image of her, and your model comes very close to it. One of the few pics that shows Mara how she is described in the books (or...  [Read More]

Yep, that's right, I met a lot of people who are willing to help. But now back to the more important things. I can't find a MD3 importer for 3DSMax, just an exporter. Could you post a link where to find one please? And the second thing is this: I m...  [Read More]

I have nearly the same problem. I have Milkshape, but I had to accept that Milkshape is not the best tool to make JK2 models. I am experiencing many problems getting the skeleton back on the model, the textures and I animations. I've read Spacemonkey...  [Read More]

Originally posted by inbredyokel I might have missed something here, but wouldn't a light side young Count Dooku be Sifo-Dyas? No I think not. Sifo-Dyas was a jedi, yoda, windu and kenobi knew him. So Sifo-Dyas was not Dooku, that's for sure. Who...  [Read More]

I'll send the skinmaps to omar_torres, so he can try it. I think his Vader skin was not really bad, and he wrote in an e-mail that Dooku is one of his favorites, so I'm sure he tries very hard. And I love perfection, so if i am not satisfied I will h...  [Read More]
