Quality is ok, not the best, but ok. But there is too much background noise in it. I will see what other sounds I can get, but I have to finish the model first....  [Read More]

Thanx. Ok, this question is to all those people who made models and know how it works. Luuke edited the model with Milkshape. Now the problem is that you have to assign all the textures anew. Ok, that's not really a problem, but how do you export the...  [Read More]

Ok, Luuke worked some time on a new Count Dooku model, with a new head/face and a cape. The model now is nearly complete, look @ http://home.t-online.de/home/0236859584/SWJK2/dookumodel1.jpg I still have my skin for the model, and since the body ha...  [Read More]

Yes, Toonces. Good to hear. @LOUman I think the face looks a lot like Dooku, it is a skinned face, no photorealistic. If you think that it's strange and something should be changed you at least have to describe what you dislike. But I suggest you'l...  [Read More]

Yes, I think this is going to be a fine model. Good job. Hmm, one thing I recognized. The model seems to be too thin, Mace Windu is bigger, more bulky. But you are definitely on the right way. Keep it up!!!...  [Read More]

@ Raptor386 Hm, you are right. I searched all the files for the color1 value, but there is no connection we could use for editing the colors of blur and glow. The only thing that color1 does is changing the saber to the 6 colors that are in the ga...  [Read More]

A black saber is not really possible, because everything in the textures that is some sort of black is transparent in the game. I tried it, look at this: http://www.uwg-oer-erkenschwick.de/SWJK2/shotblack.jpg...  [Read More]

It is not possible to add a saber, just replace old ones. For the menu you have to search for this files from the assets0.pk3, and this works: /menu/art/fx_color /menu/art/saber_color /menu/art/saber_color_glow /menu/art/saber_color_glow2 choose th...  [Read More]

Yep. This also works when you change rgbGen vertex to rgbGen identity, but that also affects the other sabers. So the vertext must be in the model. Do you know which model it is?...  [Read More]

Hmm. The BlurGlow.jpg is a white texture, and the shader says RGBGen Vertex, so there must be another file that creates the colors, right? The color_glow files don't seem to be responsible for this. So where can I change this. This drives me crazy....  [Read More]

@UniKorn Yep, I did this on Sunday, but it didn't work. My files were titled silver... but there was no difference. I removed all lines with ornage and replaced them with silver, and all textures with orange were replaced with silver ones by me. but...  [Read More]

Yeah, I figured out what is responsible for the glow of the saber. It's the entry in the sabers.shader gfx/effects/sabers/saberBlur { cull disable { clampmap gfx/effects/sabers/blurglow blendFunc GL_ONE GL_ONE rgbGen vertex } Now I have to find a w...  [Read More]

I checked the blur_core and blur_glow files, and they are just grey. No colors. so it there must be some other file or entry that is responsible for the colors. @CrazyJedi I wanna release a full Corran Horn (more Keiran Halcyon) when I figured out h...  [Read More]

Yes. I tried the sabers.shader. I also read the shader tutorial so that I understand what's in it. And as far as I know it just says that the color for the shader is taken from the texture. So I think this file is only for the "flickering"...  [Read More]

I'm working on this, too. I want a silver/white saber like Corran Horn's. So I edited all the jpg and tga files for menu and for ingame, and the white color works after i packed it with winzip and renamed it to pk3. But the glow effect still has the...  [Read More]
