Yes, there are some "caves" with pretty inadequate lighting and more than once I've run into a mob because I didn't see them... I believe in full screen you can adjust the gamma, is there any solution for us windowed mode users?...  [Read More]

Apparently not. From the official website: "The item's durability is represented by a numerical value, and if it reaches zero, the item is ineffective until repaired." Ah, that seems to answer both questions in one shot, thanks for the rese...  [Read More]

Just make sure to do it regularly. Items can become broken and you don't want that happening to your well-earned gear. :) Broken beyond repair? Also, are the stats affected in any way before the item is "red"? I try to keep repaired as y...  [Read More]

This may help some: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_Nvidia_graphics_processing_units I don't know a lot about what the numbers mean, but I don't think either one will run SWTOR very well. I could be wrong. also on the PNY it says: Addi...  [Read More]

Great use of a quote btw. I always wondered where Ben and Luke ninjaed off too. To docking bay 94 of course :D Is there any benefit to waiting till you have your companion to head to the fleet, or should you do it at level 1?...  [Read More]

I forgot to mention the first post, and almost forgot again. We do have a level 50 sawbones in guild, within 24hours of hitting 50 she took part in a successful (normal mode) EV run (I wasn't there so I don't know if she got carried by the other heal...  [Read More]

A healer is not really a solo play class. Only reason to roll a healer is for group content. Of course much the same could be said for tanks. I finally got a chance to play my SawBones some last night, solo'ed all the way through Coruscant (including...  [Read More]

No, but it does increase your damage. You're already pumping out big heals, add in good damage, and you are the big target. Ah ok, my SawBones is only lvl 13 (I spend 99.9% of my time on my lvl 50 gunslinger) so I don't have a lot of exp under my be...  [Read More]

It seems I was wrong in my original statement about there being a healing stance that lowers threat. Maybe I was confusing them with the tanking stances that increase threat. There definitely are passive abilities that you can spec into via your heal...  [Read More]

As a Gunslinger I have a threat drop called "Surrender", I'll have to look in-game if it falls under a Smuggler skill or a Gunslinger skill, I think it is safe to assume it is a generic Smuggler skill though. That is correct, I'm just tryin...  [Read More]

Depends on your class. Knights/Warriors have lightsaber forms and Troopers/Bounty Hunters have ammo/gas types. Not sure about Consulars/Inquisitors and Smugglers/Agents. Presumably they must have some sort of equivalent passive abilities. I'm a smugg...  [Read More]

If you are a healer you should have some sort of combat stance that generates less threat, just as tank companions should have a stance that generates more. I know how to set a companions stance, but our main characters have it too? Where can I find...  [Read More]
