Here is a list of terms you may hear often in TOR. In Feedback there was mention of more introduction of what an MMO is, so here is the crash course: AE - “Agro Enhancement” . Spells, attacks, etc that get mobs to attack you. Primarily u...  [Read More]

Is it awesome? Is it lame? No-one truly knows, but its a national pass time in World of Warcraft. More often than not you will walk into a city and see maybe a dozen people just jumping in circles or jumping around the auction house to pass some tim...  [Read More]

First MMO was Runescape years ago, and quite soon after. Later, I picked up Matrix Online and played it for a few months and then it bottomed up. Maybe it is just my memory, but it was a fantastic MMO and still the best one I've ever played. The ter...  [Read More]

Haha, sorry. Meant RPG. Yeah, I dunno. They might take the hint from WoW and some others, they may not. Jumping in WoW was more of an emote than anything else, and the ability to get on things served no purpose. People sure love to press the hell ou...  [Read More]

Haha, no clue if you can jump or not. You can't in any of Bioware's other RPGs, so it'll be a coin toss :p Another interview with Bioware on the Engine: http://www.warcry.com/articles/view/interviews/5570-Bioware-Neil-Harris-and-HeroEngine...  [Read More]

If they have the squishy boot sound, I'll be giddy. It seems like they are doing a lot of good things for this mmo. I like that you don't have to have the "ramp" to go up a short ledge. That'll make it a bit more "real" to me. N...  [Read More]

Being that this will be an MMO, I'm guessing there will be dozens of different kinds of armors, as well as a number of armor classes. I assume jedi will only get light, and maybe medium armors. But time will tell....  [Read More]

I played the Demo. The controls are stiffer than 4, which already had a fairly limited combat system. Without the Wiimote, the shooting is just as clunky as it was in 4, but now with something that I cannot quite put my finger on that is holding it b...  [Read More]

I preferred K1's music over K2's, and K1's music over some of the movies. John William's will only let you use the original scores of his music, so any Star Wars music will be directly from him. The other music will probably be similar to K1, consid...  [Read More]
