I wonder who is responsible for this? (Kudos to where it is deserved)
This is a neat feature... only problem is people with blazing internet connections (:shads3:) have hardly any time to read the messages...
I like it, but my connection is fast enough where i can just read at most, a few words if anything, before it loads the main forum page.

I think you can get it after you edit a comment in full edit. After you click submit, you get a loading screen that says something like "thank you for submitting your comment" and at the bottom of the box it says a quote.
(shrug) I don't care one way or t'other. They go by too fast for me to read 'em.

I've added a slightly longer delay for those redirects that contain the messages.

Subscribing to a forum over and over again is how I tested it.
tk, it needs more Benny Lava, especially his wonderful Barber and Ninja Movements.
Also, a "UFOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" would be very much welcomed.

I guess I will go against the flow of this thread. Personally I don't like it. If Iwas dial-up then I would really hate it. When I was on 56K I adblocked every signature image to lessen the load time. Even with decent broadband I still adblock all of the signature images because I don't want to waste my time/connection scrolling past them. Also if I had my way there would be no size 7 signatures.

From what I've seen, it's just text and only a few words. It shouldn't really affect anyone.

Which is exactly why I don't turn them off. I like being able to click on links to mods in the signature.

The loading messages are only maybe 100 bytes more of bandwidth. People on dial-up from 1994 wouldn't even notice a difference.

yo, ive been thinking... whats up with sun tzu?? i mean, a couple quotes would be ok, but its only sun tzu. there should be quotes from other people from history as well.
and this is lucasforums! there should be some quip by han, a homicidal yearning from hk, maybe some quotes by lfers. (sage wisdom from rhett, etc.) d333's comment is an improvement.
Right now the quote list is very short. It'll have quotes from many different sources soon enough. :)
