Well first post. So hear goes.

I have a strong feeling that Jedi Acadamy is going too try and tie up the loose ends of JO. (Which is just a theory but)

It seems likely that Tavion got out alive so she could appear in an expansion, but is just going too apear in this game. It also wouldn't suprise me if she was the leader of these "cultist" guys.

Also, there are other loose ends that can be tied up like the fate of the valley of the jedi and what happened too the remaining force enhanced troopers (Reborn, Shadowtroopers). It doesn't seem fluff wise for you too fight this cult of jedi unless they were the force enhanced troops of JO. This brings me too this theroy:

After the events JO, Tavion took the remaining force enhanced troops and attempted too forge her own threat too the New Republic. Bidding her time she turned the Reborn and Shadowtroopers too participate in this cult, and possibly use what was left of Galak Fyars technology too create more Force Enhanced Troops. The game is probably Tavion trying too do what Desann couldn't, destroy the jedi acadamy.

At least that my crack-pot theory, what do you think?

and for the reborn, well there all finished, theres a new wave of reborn type guys now who would follow who ever the new desan is.

Tavion is a whuss, she isn't brave enough to die, let alone create yet another force injected army of reborn, a plan that has failed before...

I hope/think not. Those dark Jedi in the screenies looks much too serious to be lead by that cackling wussy. Besides, as stated, shes a wussy...

Maybe we see her at the Jedi Academy as a student? maybe she turned from the dark path after Kyle showed her mercy. :D

You know what, I think she is gonna be the new antagonist! :mad: I hated her cause she was so hard to beat with her wicked fast attacks. Oh well! Squater has a point....

I much prefer we have some kind of Jedi Knight-like threat. aka, a bunch of authentic Dark Jedi...you'd need a lot though with the type of gameplay they're suggesting.

I want these dark jedi to have character, a past, a NAME.... Battling "force injected baddies" is going to be very unoriginal and boring. Perhaps the Dark Jedi Academy from the young jedi knights series will play a part in this..hehehe...

Ug, Tavion was the dumbest character ever. I absolutely loathed that voice of hers (shudders at the thought)... and the stupid lines she says.

I really hope they don't make her the main villian of the nect game... That would be so incredibly lame... No other way to descibe it.

But I have no problems with force infused dark jedi troops. That was actually one of the cooler concepts in JK2 to me. The only problem is: it's already been done. But I wouldn't mind fighting some left over reborn and shadowtroopers... provided they get some more training since their last encounter with Kyle.

Yeah I didn't mind the reborn/shadowtroopers :) But you can't come up with them again... Hmm well maybe the original Sith race has been reproducing on a planet far from the outer rim territory (or something like that ;))!

Ah well, It has all been done before, I think I'll just let Raven surprise me... In a good way I hope!

Not another Dark Jedi army. [third time that will have happened. Shadow Academy from YJK and Shadow Troopers/Reborns from JO [duh]] Prefer some original Dark Jedi baddies too.

Yeah, the only place where you should find Tavion is some rundown bar, where she's suffering some serious inferiority complex.

Yeah I really hope Raven has some type of surprise in order cause right now it just looks like a really well done spruced up JO.

I wouldn't be surprised if they only mention Tavion's name, but then again, Raven is looking to go for more of now, and not a sequel-like storyline... So, who knows what they will come up with.

I don't think she'll be in it, at least as a main bad guy. They seem to be moving from the old JKs ala no Katarn, so I would expect they moved on from her as well.

Yes, Tavion seemed kind of out of order with most Star Wars type characters, but then again so did Desann. But at least Desaan didn't look like Peter Pan....

I suspect that because of the "history" between Tavion and Kyle, they might save her for a new Dark Forces game featuring Kyle.

I could see here as an unwilling ally to Kyle somewhere along the line -- you know like united against some common enemy or something.

The only way I would want to see her in this release is if she decided to become a Jedi and was being trained at the Academy.

I guess you used the evil-super-powerup-finger-of-death-swing move because he didnt die in one hit for me.

I use a red stance horizontal hit and he died, was a flawless victory, walk in front of him (he doesn't move until you are very close) activate speed, run towards him, push (he will block but will lose all his defenses) slash him horizontally and he dies.

forgot to say you dont need any kind of saberrealisticcombat or something like that, that and: i tried again, hit him in the back to ensure 1 a hit kill.

I had to hit him twice when I pushed him on the ground... Then he died...

But the first time I fought him, it wasn't that easy, the second time I finished JK2 it was...

Oh and I hardly used speed when fighting sabered opponents in JK it made it way to short, I want loooong fights :D

Tavion's presence had more holes then an afghan (I hope that's how you spell the blanket, not the people of the nation). That, and they were wide enough to back a semi between each and every one.

I'm glad I opened a can on her.

I really hope that she isn't in JA.....I really didn't like her, they could have used a different dark jedi instead. Oh well.....

I miss the good ol JK with Gorc, Boc, Pic, Maw, Yun, and all those fun characters... made the game more interesting. Hope they plan on adding such characters to this game.

I disagree I think that its going to have a new story compleatly from the screen shots and the art it looks like its totaly different. im gessing it may even be going into a new era from the look of the clothes and stuff. who knows:confused: but hopfuly raven will think up somthin nice. ;) from the looks of it they r.

Tavion will most likely be ignored from now on since desann is dead maybe she will make a cameo ;)

It's ok for me for anyone to be the new enemy.If they use Tavoin,by all means,ok,but just make her a better person(more serious and less wussy) and get her a slightly better voice.Just that.

I didn't really mind Tavion in JO...but I wouldn't want to see her as the arch-villain in JA. A cameo would be fine...but I want new and far more interesting enemies to fight. I'd have to agree with GreenDevil that the Dark Jedi in JK seemed a bit more interesting...for one thing, four of those characters were from different races (other than human), and I think it's important to reflect the fact that any character from any race can turn to the Dark side or the Light side of the Force.

If we can get to pick the race of our player character...then the enemies should also be a mix of races, IMHO.

It would be funny if she ended up as a Jedi Trainer in the academy and you had to spend a lesson with her.. A lesson of how to laugh like corny-evil-people.

Maybe Jerec gets ressurected from the dead! Nah! Though I never played the original JK, I kinda liked that Sariss character. The fact that she relies purely on lightsaber combat is cool. Maybe the new villian will do that?

True, but then again, you must unlearn what you have learn... wich means that she has to unlearn that... otherwise she would scare off the newer students... and get embarresed when the more experienced ones that have controll of their fear laughs at her :D
