That is awesome. It looks exactly like Liam Neeson even without a skin yet. I cant wait to have your Ep 1. Obi Wan and Qui Gon vs Cheshires Darth Maul in the Episode 1 level, or your epsode II Obi Wan and Mace vs Jango.

Saying it looks good is an insult! This is sooooo much better than good! I have some perplexities on how the hair is going to animate ingame, but the model is the exact replica of Liam Neeson. What is the polycount? Keep us updated on this one!

Dude... i dunno if that is gonna animate as it should... but even if it doesnt one thing i gotta say is... your models totally rock.
I just hope you dont find too much trouble animating them.
I say this cuz the robes looks great, but you are probably bound to find animating issues on the shoulders cuz the tunic is too broad to the sides.
JO's models are skinny and they will mess up if you broaden them up too much.
I had tons of shoulder issues with tyrion before i could get it going ok because of that.

This is exactly what i've been waiting for. Looks very nice. Hope it works out ingame. I've only got one problem. I'v kinda gotten attached to the Chiss model in Multiplayer and i was hoping for him to have a Jedi outfit. Any chance you guys could use the heads of some of the existing characters in the game to make some made up Jedi to add to your pack?

let me be the billionth person (give or take a few ;))who says that the model, even sans skin, looks EXACTLY like qui-gon jinn. it'd be funny if you posted some pics, and asked people to guess who your model is ... i guarantee everybody would've said qui-gon.

Thank you everyone for your comments. About the hilts, each model will have its own, jigsaw, a modeller friend of ours is helping us out with those, i think he has mace's hilt done already. Ill ask him for pics.

I have to agree with everyone else this is a simply awsome model, it does have a very strong likeness to qui-gon jinn, one of the best I've seen between a model and the actual person.

Hey congrats on an awesome looking model dude! I don't know how far into it you are but If you don't mind I'd love to help skin that thing. I just finished helping sithlord skin his Exar model and I'm aching to do some more work. If you want some references on my work as a texture artist, my skins are mainly at jk2files.com or jedi-outcast.com Most of you are familiar with the episode 2 skinpack I made :) anyway let me know i'd love to help out, unless of course you've already started the skinning process youself or have a skinner :)

This, the Obi-Wan models, and the upcoming Mace Windu are all part of a skin/model pack Tex and I are working on. I'll be skinning these things, so unfortunately there isn't any room for you. There will, however, be an SDK released with them, so you can make your own skins after the pack is released. Keep your eye on the forums for more news on the Light Jedi pack.
