Where? Where? At least gimme hints as to where they are at!
<div align="Justify"><font color="green1">Which version of the game do you play, Redwing? If you're talking about the hangar doors Maul ran though earlier in the assault level, I can get knocked through there almost at will. You just back into the wall and hold the attack button. You should be able to bloack the attacks, but eventually you'll get kicked through. You can't get out again though. I even pulled a little trick (from another part of the level) to get the other hangar door to stay open. The first door is easy to get open, the second one I got only once and I haven't been able to duplicate it.
They may give you sheepish grins, but it usually gives me a grin too. Because you can save it anytime, the bugs are cool. Did you know you can survive the fall in that room where Obi-Wan jumps between those two platformes (the room where he has to turn on the lights). The floor is solid, but the wall are not and you just walk off the edge of the world. Also, if you're quick you can get into that first closet on the left (where the battle droid comes out). The door locks you in though. Fortunately there is a hole near the top of the door where you can jump through the wall again.
I wish I had the time to make a really good bug list. I don't even know the url of the page I already made. D'oh.
Is there anyway to keep the game from recopying all the sound files to your computer every time you load a level? Besides the fact that this slows everything down, it would be nice to replace some of the sounds.
Jeez, I wish there were. It's amazing that we couldn't figure out that you DON'T HAVE to re-copy the sounds EVERY TIME YOU RESTART OR LOAD the same level you're on. I didn't even know that we re-copied the sounds until after we shipped. Again, something that the programmers grin sheepishly about when we mention it to them. That would have dropped our loading times by almost half, I bet.
Yeah, I think the only way to change the sounds is to alt-tab out of the game and manually change them, but that may be dangerous.
Hey, in the Coruscant level in the part just before the elevator tacking you down to the area with all the crates you have to push around, I jumped off the platform near the left side and landed...in the lower levels of Coruscant!
Wasn't killed either. not much of the floor is there though.
Interesting... ;)
I play the PC version of TPM. And yes, I know you can get pushed through there rather easily (if you can stay alive) but I just thought it was funny. There really is no way to get out? Awwww....
PS Master Qui-Gon, I actually DO have the URL to your page....

Gabrobot, can you make a screen shot to show me what you're talking about.
Thanks for the URL, I'll see about adding something if I can.
...? Well? Zanz ya never answered my Q...
No hints, first one to post all 4 correctly gets an email with a 'special limited edition TPM attachment' from me....
Here's how:
For each character, list WHAT level you see them on, and the general area of the level in which you see them. Some characters are used in multiple places, I will accept any place as long as it's described in some detail. Describing the outfit color is useful as well.
Once again, characters are:
Sean Connery
David Bowie
David Duchovny
Gillian Anderson
Good luck :)
I'll post screenshot as soon as I can, I'm not sure if I can do it again as I havn't tried more the once.
Dang! No fair Zanzi, your models' faces make 'em too hard to tell :(
Hmmm I'll have to go look anyway. :D
Master Qui-gon, I was able to almost do the same thing except that the camera didn't move down with Panaka. :(
Some time tommorow I'll post some screens and some diagrams as to how to do the same thing.
Hey Zanzibar, what's gonna be in this 'special limited edition TPM attachment'
Mace maybe?
Only the winner will be able to tell you ;)
Hey Zanzibar i found:
Liam Neeson- he's the character qui-gon
Ewan McGreggor- He's the obi-wan character
Jake Loyd- He's anikan in the game
Natalie Portman- She's the padme character in the game
Seriously though, is that girl on the flying platform in Coruscant Gillian Anderson? And the guy on the other side in the same place looks kinda like David Duchovny. Did i have any luck?
That's strange, but why so many pics?
So that people can see the places where you can jump.
Oh, also if you can't jump down there succesfully I can post a download for a savegame.
And it's easier to jump down there with the perf cheat on.

Hey Z I heard someone say that that platform was an unfinished part of a level. Is that true?
Well, I'm pretty sure it's not an 'abandoned' section. I'm pretty sure what you're seeing is the results of poor tagging of particular pieces. One of the ways we brought our framerate up is to tag various pieces to NOT render unless the character moved through a particular trigger area. This kind of tagging, called 'M-tagging' in Big Ape lingo, basically set up stages, where Area X cannot be 'activated' until Trigger X is tripped. Now, if you managed to MISS several segments of the map (we used a lot of global grabbing of pieces, and sometimes the tool misses some isolated polys), then you get results much like what we're seeing here - the polys are drawing because they weren't told to associate themselves with Area X, even though technically they are IN Area X.
Anyways, it's a bug, just some bad double-checking by the level designers.
lol, very nice work Master Qui-Gon :D
Vodka Martini... Shaken not stirred...
<div align="Justify"><font color="green1">Gillian Anderson. I found a possible David Bowie, but I'm not that sure what he's looking like these days so I'll wait and see if a better one comes along. The two I've found so far have a very good likeness, so I'm guessing the same will be true for the two Davids.

Hehe, never knew you actually put celebs in there. Pretty funny.
Not to be a spoil sport but...one of the two is wrong. I never realized how much the non-celeb looks like the REAL celeb until I looked at your screengrab...
SPOIL SPORT! :p
Hey Master Qui, do you have a 'naughty naughty' shot of Sean Connery?
And Zanzibar, is it possible to do an update interview for my Humanities project (I've had to change my idea so many times I thought I'd wait until I was sure of what I was doing before asking again)?
Sure Dave, LMK how to get in touch.
<div align="Justify"><font color="green1">Well, it can't possibly be sean Connery, so it must be Gillian. Looks just like her though. I guess I'll keep looking.
How's this for David Duchovny?

Hey Zanzi, tell us which one was right! :)
I'm really amazed about how much stuff you found in TPM Qui-Gon, u either have no life or are just very good at finding stuff lol
Really no question about ol' Duchovny, eh? I'd better start working on creating that 'Limited edition TPM attachment'...
Master Qui, not that I'm..well..paranoid, but you might want to post your last two at once - if you post them one at a time, you may be doing other peoples' work for them. See, if someone had found the other two, they could use their two plus yours to reap the rewards...not that anyone would do that ;)
Anyways, screengrabs aren't necessary (but DARN cool to see, thanks Master Qui), just a description of all 4 characters and their locations. As mentioned previously, I will put together a special package for the first one to post all 4 hidden celebs.
Hi! Long time since I've posted. The search for the celebrities intrigued me. I think I found them all.
Sean Connery - Mos Espa Arena sitting in the stands. His face is used through out the stands. He's wearing what looks like a robe with his hood on.
David Bowie - Coruscant level upper platform.
He's the guy you sell the electro-binoculars to(he say's "their not stolen are they"). He's standing on the opposite side of the guy with the horn looking things.(the guy you buy the tickets to the city tour from) David Bowie is wearing a blue shirt.
David Duchovny - Coruscant level very bottom level.
He's the first hobo you encounter you encounter when you go down to the bottom level of Coruscant. He's wearing old clothes.
Gillian Anderson - Tatooine level. She's wearing all white. She sells hydroponic vegtables throughout the level.
The only celebrity I'm not sure about is Sean Connery. I asked my sister about it and she said it looked like him.
Hmm - I may have to check on one of yours, Jedi72, you have 1 definitely right, 2 definitely wrong, and one other that I'm not sure about. The level designers may have re-used a character on multiple levels, and while I'm thinking of one location in particular, I'll accept either location if the character DOES get re-used. Regardless, keep looking ;)
Another guess. I think David Duchoveny was correct and possibly David Bowie. The two I missed is Connery and Anderson. Master Qui Gon was right on Sean Connery.
Sean Connery - Escape from Theed level.
He's the one in that is locked in the room. You have to walk down some stairs to reach his cell. When you free him he offers you
a detonator. Master Qui Gon posted the screen grab. He's wearing blue.
Gillian Anderson - Return to City of Theed/
Escape from Theed.
you find her just passed the balcony walkway you have to double jump across.
She's the one who had the missing boy .
She's wearing a brownish dress with a purple belt.
Hi. Zanzibar-- Do the actors do the voice-overs for their characters? Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon, and Amidala don't sound like the actors from the movie. Anakin sounds like Jake Lloyd, though.
Ahmed Best (Jar-Jar), Jake Lloyd (Anakin) and Andy Secombe (Watto) reprised their roles from the movie for the game, and all the other games their characters feature in. But the big stars like Ewan McGregor (Obi-Wan) and Liam Neeson (Qui-Gon) didn't. I think those three are the only ones that did for this game, but I may be wrong.
I'll stop you when you're right, Jedi72...not quite there, but you're getting closer ;)
Another try! Duchoveny was right as you mentioned in a previous post. Connery was right I think. He's wearing a brown outfit instead of a blue one as I had previously posted. You also mentioned you were going to check one of my guesses because you weren't sure if the character was used in multiple levels. I think that was my David Bowie guess. You see him on Coruscant level, the City Of Theed level, and Escape from Theed.
The Gillian Anderson is the only one I will change. I think she's the one on Coruscant. She's located right where you buy the tickets
to the City tour from the droid. Right before you enter the area of the puzzle of the crates. She's wearing a grey dress with red sleeves.
Sean Connery - Escape from Theed level.
He's the one in that is locked in the room. You have to walk down some stairs to reach his cell. When you free him he offers you
a detonator. Master Qui Gon posted the screen grab. He's wearing brown.
Congrats to Jedi72, you got 'em! I checked on David Bowie, and he was indeed re-used on both the Escape from Theed level AND on Coruscant - I would have accepted either. I'm putting together the TPM attachment as we speak...but it may take a week or so to get it the way I want it.
Congratulations Jedi72... I'm way too lazy to go looking thru the game for 'em, but now that you did I will go see 'em lol :)
How about a runner-up prize for Master Qui-Gon, as he did post screens for us all ;)
Yeah, let's give Master Qui-Gon some credit too ;).
Congrats Jedi72. When Zanzibar send you the stuff, please tell us what it is. Thanks.
<div align="Justify"><font color="green1">That'll teach me to fall asleep, eh? I actually found those two, but took the day off on Friday and forgot about it all weekend. I'm glad to see I was right though. D'oh!
Thanks everybody! Especially Zanzibar! It was fun looking for the celebrities. I have a lot saved games from my neices and nephews. All I had to do was skip around through their saved games. It was just a process of elimination. I look foward to my prize.
Thanks again Zanzibar!
I have to admit that Master Qui-Gon is the just that... The Master of TPM!
I have a question about the scoring, it seems to me earlier in this topic you(Zanzibar) said that the scoring was based on the number of times that a savegame is loaded.
However I can get through the first level without loading my game at all, and I get score of 4!
Have you got any idea why this is? I would say that I'm best at the first level, but I get higher scores on later levels like Coruscant and the final battle.
Very strange.
<div align="Justify"><font color="green1">Thanks Jedi SuperBuen. I guess you all knew I figured it out, but I was more interested in sharing and having fun than winning a contest. And no, I don't figure all these things out because I have no life. Quite the opposite in fact, I hardly have time to play this game. I figure things out by intuition, for lack of a better term. Gabrobot: If you play the perfect game your numbers will be 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 9, 9, 9, 9, 9, 9. Usually that first nine will be an eight, but you can get a nine for that level. For the most part, the way it works is you start at four and get another number with each level. Loading a game does not hurt your ranking, it's when you load after you die. So if you fall and you can bring up the menu before you die, you are not penalized. If you do die, you can quit and then load from the main menu.
Cheerio. :) <font size="-2">
I don't think it's intuition Master Qui-Gon... I think it's...

"You are the chosen one. The Force is strong in you. All hail Master Qui-Gon!"
