leXX, awesome that you'll be going to Collectormania 5, I hope you have a great time and get to meet Amy Allen in person! :)
leXX, I demand pictures. Lots and lots of bloody pictures.:xp:
Unfortunately I couldn't go. =( I'll catch the next one.
Shame to hear you couldn't attend Collectormania 5, leXX!
For those of you who missed out on meeting Amy Allen (Aayla Secura) at Jedi-Con 2004 or Collectormania 5, the good news is that although Amy Allen had to cancel on New Star Con, she is scheduled to attend "StarDay 2" (
http://www.video-star.fr/boutique/index.php#) in Paris, France on June 26-27, 2004.

For those of you who have a StarWars.com Hyperspace membership, you can view footage of Amy Allen filming her scenes as Aayla Secura for Episode III on the May 6, 2004 footage of the Hyperspace Episode III Webcam (

(Images are available to StarWars.com Hyperpace members in the Hyperspace Episode III Webcam Archive of May 6, 2004.)
The latest Episode III Set Diary report, titled "Aayla Secura: An Expanded Role" (
http://www.starwars.com/hyperspace/member/episode-iii/bts/setdiary/news20040507.html) focuses on Aayla Secura’s return in Episode III.
It features Amy Allen filming scenes as Aayla Secura for Episode III, applying the necessary make-up, donning the costume and also contains specific information regarding the scenes Aayla Secura will be included in for Episode III.
The set dairy has official confirmation that Aayla Secura will have dialogue in Episode III!
("Aayla Secura: An Expanded Role" is available to StarWars.com Hyperpace members in the Hyperspace Episode III Set Diary of May 7, 2003.)
StarWars.com shows the first official image of the Hasbro Aayla Secura Unleashed figure in their feature "Hasbro Unleashes Summer Lineup" (

The pose is exquisite, I like the added detail of the long, swirling belt tabs and the coloring looks absolutely splendid. :D
That unleashed figure looks awesome! I can't wait to add it to my collection. The 'An Expanded Role' set diary made for some very interesting reading also. ;)

Aayla is on the cover of the upcoming Star Wars: Republic #68 (

On Friday, May 21, 2004 there was an exclusive Amy Allen Online Chat (
http://www.starwars.com/hyperspace/about/news/news20040519.html) held at the StarWars.com Hyperspace message boards.
For those of you who may be interested, the Aayla Secura Fansite (
http://www.jediaayla.com) has a feature page with some of the highlights of the Amy Allen Online Chat.
It was a pretty fun chat and Amy was cool, she talked about some interesting things, also on filming her scenes for Episode III. :)
leXX, yeah "Republic" #68 'Armor' sounds like it will be epic ... apparently it will be very character revealing for both Aayla and Quinlan too. :)
Very anxious to see this issue, too bad it's still some months away.
Wanderer, yeah it was very cool seeing Amy again at Jedi-Con 2004, she's a great lady.
I look forward to seeing her at the upcoming StarDay 2 con in Paris.

Anybody else besides me think the Aayla Secura skin for Jedi Academy should have darker clothing?
I was talking about this one:
http://www.lucasfiles.com/screenshots/917134.jpg)
The one by SpaceMonkey is the big pack of Twi'Lek skins, right?
Right. SpaceMonkey's Aayla model can be used in JA too, so if you don't like that JA skin, simply use the model instead. ;) (If you just want it for MP)
...
I made this wallpaper (
http://lexx.echonetwork.net/ropwp_lexx.jpg) from a scan of the cover of Rite of Passage. I've always loved this image and decided it was time to make a wallpaper out of it. Feel free to spread it around. =)

Yeah, what's up with that? Cool, but what gives? You aren't George Lucas are you?
No im a as good as bantha fodder/podoo :D :p
To bad.
Anyway. Has anyone heard any scenes with Aayla in episode three? Any specific scenes?
I heard a rumor that she's a Jedi Master in Episode 3 and that: she gets killed when the clonetroopers turn on the jedi on some foreign world.
Nairb sheds tear. It might be on Kashyyyk with Yoda.

What?
I also saw in the Amy Allen chat that she had lines this time. There's no telling if they'll get cut though.
I think he means that Amy Allen is too old. You're nuts. She's hotter than Portman any day.
Amy Allen is only 5 years older than Natalie Portman.
She looks much older! ;)
Had she parts in some other famous films?
I think she was just working for LucasFilm when they had her do Secura.
Oha! But will she have a more important role than in the other films?
Rhett is right. I think she worked for ILM.
I don't think it'll be more important a role. She'll just have more screen time.
Remember she has to die.

That's not saying much as Natalie Portman looks like a 15 year old.
Amy Allen looks 25-26. At least thats what I thought she was before I checked IMDB.
Amy Allen does work for ILM, infact that's where lucas found her and decided she would play aayla when he wanted to put that character in.
Amy Allen (IMDB) (
http://imdb.com/name/nm1116989/)
She doesn't work at ILM anymore. She had a chat at sw.com. She's still in the industry though.
oh that's right. *forgot* ;_;

Why is this a sticky? Seriously, I didn't feel like reading through 23 pages of fanboy drooling to find out why.
No offense of course. ; )

 I was suprised when it became a sticky, myself.
It was so active at that point it really didn't need to be.
