And that's all I have to say about that for now.
Please vote on your favorite pattern.
Why not just release 'em all?
What is this About?
Just some stuff that I am currently working on.
Why not just release 'em all?
I will release them all, I just thought I'd see what folks' favorite colors are. I've got a few other things planned as well, I'm going to release a big pack.
They all look so good! :D
But if I had to choose, the chrome one is probably my fav. ;)
The multicam and the rusty are also really nice.
I'm going for nickle and chrome myself.
Okay, I made this model in a very modular way, that allows me to take bits and pieces off, and replace them with other stuff. So, with that, I simply deleted/replaced several parts of this rifle which allows it to break down into a normal sized blaster rifle, and then even into a pistol. I wasn't sure exactly how it would turn out, but I really like it now. I might have some of these in a quest, where you can upgrade from pistol to rifle, and rifle to sniper after acquiring the necessary parts.
Here are some pictures of how this looks:
(Also added a snow camouflage, since Sith Holocron keeps badgering me to put all this in TSL, should fit in on the Telos Polar Plateau)

I guess there are worse science fiction characters I could be associated with . . .

The Nickle and Chrome are the best!
The snow camo is pretty good too!
Nice skinning!
Holy Cow!!
As usual, I am blown away by your talents... That you can chop them up and mix and match parts is excellent design - it is how I try to write code :)
I also like the chrome the best, although rusty and tiger stripe make me happy, and the snow is a great addition! They are all winners, although the black one seems to hide a lot of your exceptional detail work, especially in the serrated front handle.
Wow :D
Wow, pretty nice stuff! Make's me jealous
Man, where's the time little SithSpecter made that WW II battlefield like area map; with a small wooden bridge across it... time goes past so fast :'(
Top work SS! And good thinking on making the models in modules. You can go and create a ton of stuff in less time
This is excellent work SithSpecter! New weapon models always make me happy. Nice thinking with the rifle, carbine and pistol thingy as well, really nice weapon set here. My favorite has to be the '6-colour desert' camo, but the 'nickel', multicam' and 'rusty' are all contenders too.
The only one I'm not so sure about is the snow camo, other than that all are exellent.
Okay, up next is a little thing that I've been working on, because I haven't seen much of this kind of thing in K1. Anyway, there doesn't seem to be many people with nice beards in the original KotOR, so I have decided to add a head. This is what I have come up with after 2 attempts.

This head will be on a new NPC, the identity of whom will be released at a later date.
It looks good, except the side of the moustache seems to be unlined with the beard on the skin.
Pretty cool, but his mustache looks a bit weird.
I ran across this on my hard-drive. I wonder where it came from...:¬:

What the hell! That looks like the jedi temple on Coruscant.:thmbup1: Though I don't know if it is since I can't see if there's a tower.
Yeah, it kind of does, doesn't it?
*COUGHJKACOUGH*
Are you sure about that?
Tharts Perty sexay
Whats it for? Any plans?
Looks nice, but to clarify you seriously don't know where it came from or are you just playing around?

I might have a few ideas...
If you need assistance with it, im sure I could come up with something :D
It would be nice to see this work with deathdisco's pre-existing Coruscant mod. Perhaps you two might have something to discuss in PMs?
Are you sure about that?
Well, to me it looks a lot like SSSid's temple, but I could be completely in the wrong here.
Thats k1, right? and how large is it in relation to a person?

Yes, original KotOR. And it's pretty dang huge. Takes a while to get around.
Hm. I'm tempted to ask if this is connected to the (ultimately abortive) K1 Coruscant mod that was started (and abandoned, AFAIK) by Coola in 2007, but the last post in that thread is late October '07. That's the only K1 mod I can think of which might have needed a Jedi Temple.
As for what you're going to do with it, I imagine you'll fill it with Jedi, a couple of holocrons, and some quests. :p

No connection there, although I was able to use the textures that Quanon provided Coola for that mod.
Right now, it is slated for use in a mod that I am planning, and also for another mod that will remain unnamed at this time.
Anyway, here are some more pictures of the gargantuan thing:

Also, Carth is in each of these pics. See if you can find him, it's a hint of the scale.
I can't find Carth in the last picture :P
Looking good Spec.
The scale of that is immense! I can only imagine how large the map will be inside the building! At the risk of sounding like a broken record (too late), might this also be available for K2 at some point?
I personally love how rusty came out. maybe a bit more reddish!
Fair play, that is absolutely gigantic.
Sweet Jesus, you did it!!! :D
And without texture stretch madness aswell!
Congrats, I wasn't sure when you sended the model it would run ok in Kotor.
With all those stairs and whatnot.
I also suddenly remember you asking me to do textures... IIRC :-S
I never replied did I? Ack, my memory...
That was most impressive SS.
I think you might need, um, turbo. But yes, this is a GREAT area. I hope you work on it more.(as in make an inside and stuff like that.)

Well, there won't just be one area for inside the temple. There will be many, possibly reskinned, but brand new ones are planned.

Yep, it turned out okay. It was a nightmare to get lightmapped (I still have a few issues there). As for the textures, you did do the textures. In 2007. I used your old Coruscant textures, they fit really well. However, I do need some murals for the front of the big square column things...

Takes approximately 2 1/2 minutes running from landing pad to door.

You mean, with turbo? Or not?
You might want to make someone like the escort on Dxun to get you from landing pad to door.
You mean, with turbo? Or not?
No turbo.
Dayyyyuummmmmm!!!!! That's huge. That's going to take up so much space on my harddrive...
Yeah... Like 2gb or something... Luckily I just got a new 200gb hard drive.
But really, put an escort.

I think I'd presonally relish having the open space to actually walk around in. Besides, you're currently seeing the module empty. Who's to say it wouldn't be filled with some sort of activity that might be relavant for your character to interact with?
Very very nice SS...great work...love the assortment...bravo!!
Awesome I love them a lot :D, would it be possible to perhaps have some less bright patterns?
My personal favorie is the second on the top. I like how you personalized them and not have just one generic helmet. I personally think it adds more realism, pilots would make their helmets and ships special. Over all good job. Btw would those be realesed in Kotor or Tsl?
This is cool and everything, but it means nothing unless it's released.
So that means... RELEASE THE KRAKEN!!!! Er I mean... the temple.
