Aurora rose to her feet when they entered. "Darth Kelion, Ben Flameshadow," she acknowledged. "Why are you here? Have you come to gloat over your prisoner?" She addressed them both, but her eyes were on Darth Saaron.
* * *
Arion nodded his agreement. "Sure, that's a place to start. Unfortunately, I haven't a clue as to her location. Do you have a name we could look in the records for?"
Ben looked at Aurora with an ammused expresson. "Mocking me will not do you any good." He used Force Wound on Aurora eventhough he did not want to, she mocked who he was and she had to be punished. "Don't mock who I have become... or you will regret it." He said coldly. "I may be attracted to you, but at the moment... my master is more important."
"I know a Jedi named Iosif Rotok," CSI frowned, "And I heard that he's Ben's friend, according to me. He might has some idea to locate Ben's mother. But the problem is...Not even me know where to find him, so now we must wait for either of them appear. To kill the time, you up for a sparring? Free for all, okay? You can use any weapon if you want."
Aurora's body shuddered with pain as the Force Wound attacked her. She managed to keep him from crushing her vital organs, but it was still intensely painful. Somehow, she managed to remain standing. "I- I wasn't trying to mock you!" she ground out past the pain.
* * *
Arion shrugged, and unclipped his lightsaber. "Sure, I'm always up for a sparring session. Let's go outside, don't want to scar up the ship."
Darth Kelion smiled evilly, "You have learned much. I am very pleased with you," he turned to the Jedi, "What were you doing on my ship?" he demanded.
******
On the dead surface of an abandoned planet a mind woke, felt through the Force, and... No! This cannot be! A woman in a black cloak stood from her meditation and began to walk toward her ship. "If he walks down that path he may never return. He will become like his father, and the person he was will be lost. It may already be too late," she whispered to the darkness. She sat down on the controls and set a course for Korriban, "The time has come."
Aurora chuckled, raggedly. "You have to ask? You disappoint me, Kelion. I thought you had more insight than that." She winced. "You have a lot of power, Ben Flameshadow, but you need to work on when and how to use it. If you want me to talk, you shouldn't try to crush my lungs."
Darth Kelion sneered, "I know why you're here, but I'm afraid it is you who have disappointed me. I thought you had more sense then to try to invade my ship. As if Darth Saaron would even want to go with you. When we reach our destination we shall learn how much you know about Darth Saaron and the what the Republic has planned, which probably isn't much. Come, Darth Saaron, we are almost there and this conversation is boring anyway. It will be a lot more interesting when we reach my Academy."
Aurora merely shook her head. She turned her back to them and sat down in a meditation position. She began to draw the Force inside herself, easing her pain and slowly healing her wounds. As they left her, she murmured, "You will not be able to learn anything from me, Darth Kelion."
"Master... if it is all the same to you, I would like to remain and have a....... discussion with our Jedi friend. I will meet you on the bridge when I am finished." He turned back to Aurora as his father left the cell. "Now... Jedi why are you here." He sneered to her.
Aurora sensed that Darth Saaron remained behind her, but did not open her eyes. "I could say that I'm here because you ordered your men to lock me in here, but I don't suppose that's the answer you're looking for." She coughed, a little, and winced. "What did your father tell you about me?"
Darth Saaron walked up to Aurora and turned her face towards him. "I am asking the questions. Why are you here, Jedi? Is it because you want to save me? As you can see... I am perfectly save, you however... are left to my will. My will to let you live for some reason, perhaps because I am attracted to you. Or perhaps... I am just looking for some fun."
Just as CSI and Arion walked outside, CSI just smiled: "I don't want to draw my katana--as this is a friendly sparring."
Then CSI posed a fighting pose, and his Katana was inside the scabbard, hanging on his hip. Then he asked Arion: "Ready?"
Aurora opened her eyes then, and raised an eyebrow. "Attracted to me? If so, you have a strange way of showing your 'attraction'." She was quiet, for a time, then said, softly, "I came here looking for someone, someone who I felt was.... special. But I have not found him. Perhaps he too is a prisoner of the dark side, waiting to be freed."
* * *
Arion shrugged. "If you like." He clipped his saber back to his belt, and took a defensive stance. "Ready."
"Here we go." CSI charged towards Arion, and was going to make the Power Strike. But before he could jump, he suddenly sensed a surge in the Force, but he couldn't stop the hit, so he simply changed the Power Strike into the Force Jump, "I sense something on Korriban. Let's check it up. What do you think? I know that is a Sith Planet, and I might look like luring you into a trap...But please, trust me, I don't want to eliminate all Jedi..."
"I have not become a prisoner of the darkside... sweetheart. It has freed me and has given me what I have wanted... a family. And here is miss Jedi walking in on her own free will... trying to take that away from me. Wrong. Anything else you want to attempt to take away from me?"
Aurora shook her head. "It never occured to you, did it? Why do you think you were separated from your father to begin with? Did you never think that he might be a bad influence for your life?" She coughed again. "I never wanted to take anything from you. When.... when I saw you there, in the alleyway, I saw someone who could be a good man, a great man, if given a chance. I wanted to give you that chance. I'm.... I'm sorry I failed you." Her eyes began to fill with tears, and she tried to blink them away.
* * *
Arion frowned. "Korriban? If... if you think there's something important there, then I guess we could take a look. You better be right about this."
Darth Kelion knew his son needed to talk to the Jedi and see for himself what they were like, so he left for the Bridge. "We will be landing shortly my Lord," said the Admiral. "Good, tell the Academy to make the necessary arrangements," Darth Kelion replied. "Um, Sir, there is one more thing. The Ship Fearless has been reported in the general vicinity," the Admiral said wincing. "What?! Send out a command to fire on the ship and cause it to land. Find the occupant and bring her to me," Darth Kelion commanded.
******
The woman in black dodged the blows being shot at her, "You won't get me like you did the last time. If I want to talk to you, I'll find you." She landed her ship skillfully on the Planet Surface away from the Academy. She sat down in her meditation room to wait for the opportune moment.
Ben continued to look at Aurora. "I am a great man. I was hoping you would join us... but I can see that my master will need to break you. You will join us.... eventually, my dear. I doubt I will be hearing anything about the light side of the force. Before I leave I will grant you this..." He leaned down and kissed her, and after a moment, left the cell to go find his father on the bridge.
CSI shook his head: "Well, never mind. Maybe my sense malfunctioned. Let's move on. Ready?"
This time CSI charged to Arion, and begin to throw a punch at his abdomen. But he didn't use full power, because he didn't want Arion to get injured.
As Darth Saaron entered the Bridge, Darth Kelion turned to him and said, "Come we shall take the shuttle down to the Academy. Our men shall bring the Jedi later in a top security force cage."
*******
They walked into the Academy and Darth Kelion introduced him to his former padawan, "This is Kiera Sun, she has been running the Academy for me. She also has been assassinating some of the more, troublesome senators in the Republic. Kiera, this is my son, Darth Saaron."
Aurora remained where she was, motionless, a tear trickling down her cheek. The memory of that kiss was burned into her mind, and she cried, silently, for what might have been.
* * *
Arion knocked the punch aside, harmlessly, and snapped up a kick, at 10% power. "Be careful not to drop your guard while you attack," he warned.
"Pleasure. Unfortunately, there can only be only two Sith at a time, if I understand the Sith correctly. There seems to be a problem, you are a third, that cannot be allowed, I believe that my father... would like me to end you? Hmmm?" He mused.
Darth Kelion smiled evilly, "Yes, I had hoped you would." "Well I had hoped not," said a clear voice. A woman in a long black cloak walked into the room. She threw her hood back and looked at Darth Kelion. She had long blond hair and bright blue eyes, "Look what you've done to him. To our son. He almost isn't human any more." She looked up at Darth Saaron, "My name is Serela Tan, I am your mother."
"Well... Hello, mother. You were responsible for me becomming a 'orphan' for ten years of my life... Why did you not come looking for me? At least my own father found me. Yet you were unable, as you can see... i have begun my training in the force, and I am discovering my true power."
Sarela looked at her son, "I saw what your father had become, I didn't even know him any more. I couldn't let that happen to you. But I couldn't take you with me either, because your father has been trying to kill me for 18 years and I have had to live in the abandoned planets in the outer rim, with berely enough food. I gave you everything I had. I gave you my life, when I hid you to protect you I lost everything. I gave you my parents, until your father destroyed them. And now it has been for nothing, because he found you anyway. Please believe me Ben, I love you, your father only wants to use you. I love you." "Enough, she lies, Darth Saaron. Let us finish her," Darth Kelion drew his duel red lightsabers and raised them above her head. Sarela looked at Ben, a tear rolled down her cheek.
Darth Saaron ignited his red lightsaber and stopped his father from killing his mother. "YOU WHAT! I ASSURE YOU... FATHER, YOU WILL NOT DESTROY MY FAMILY." His anger and hatred fueling him, and his protection for his mother, he began to use Force Wound on his own father to subdue him. "You are a execelent teacher, father... But if you kill my mother, I will kill you without a moments notice. Stand down."
Darth Kelion smiled evilly, the Force wound having little effect on him, "She gave up whatever rights she had as your mother long ago when she abandoned you and hid you from me. She is nothing now, just another lesson for you."
Darth Saaron's eyes turned bright yellow, and his skin tone turned as grey as a corpse. "Mother, run! Save yourself. I don't care if I fall... I will sacrafice myself to save you. As for you.... master. Disapline me in whatever way you see fit. You will not destroy my family. If she dies... you will die."
Sarela did not move, "I have nothing left to lose, Ben," she turned and looked at Darth Kelion, "I do not fear death." Darth Kelion glared grimly at Darth Saaron, "You will be punished severally, it appears you still have much to learn."
"Then punish me already! What are you afraid to harm your own apprentice? your own son? I don't even know my mother... you would deny me that?" Darth Saaron began to open himself fully to the darkside, he could hear its call, feel it courisng through every ounce of his being. He channeled it towards Kiera... leithally. Using the force to enter her mind and began tearing it to shreads while objects in the room, including one of his father's lighsabers crushed.
Alone in her cell, Aurora sensed Darth Saaron's outburst of dark power, his rage, and despair. She felt him plunge further into the dark side, and shuddered. "Ben...no..." she whispered, but there was nobody there to hear.
"Good you are using your power," Darth Kelion laughed evilly. "Ben, there is more then one way to use the Force," Serela began. "Enough! There is only one way and you know it! Don't try to put lies and empty promises in his mind. He's had enough of them already," Darth Kelion whipped his lightsaber handle over her head and knocked her out. "Take her to the Detention Cells," he ordered the guards, "Come know Darth Saaron. We once again have much to discuss."
[OOC: Leia, what do you mean by "Whipped his lightsaber handle over her head"?]
CSI smiled, while he made a push, and blocked Arion's kick. Just when CSI spotted Arion's weak point, and he was about to gain his momentum to jump, he heard a sound: "Mmm...You're going to use your trademark Critical Strike, right?"
CSI's eyes widened. That sound is too familiar for him. He turned to the voice and looked at the top of the Jedi Phoenix. There, stood another man in Jedi Robe. He was smiling at CSI, "Long time no see, CSI."
[OOC: I think she meant hit her over the head, hard enough to knock her out.]
Just before his mother was knocked out, Darth Saaron wispered "Forgive me mother, I only want you to live. You say you have lost everything... in a manner of speaking... so have I." He turned and followed his father... "If you expect me to just sit around and do nothing while you hurt my mother... you are mistaken. I will not stand around and do nothing! Now that I've gotten that out... what did you want to talk about? Is it time to punish me?" He finished sarcastically.
Darth Kelion stared at his son coldly, "Yes, it is time to punish you. You must learn obedience," Darth Kelion used Force Lightning on Darth Saaron causing him to fall to his knees, "You shall not interfere with my business again."
Darth Saaron fell to his knees, but refused to show any pain. He lowered his head in submittence, and transformed his pain into anger and hate. "Yes... Master... Please... at least... let me...... talk to my...... mother." He gritted out through cleanched teeth, and continued through the force, ::I will remain loyal to you, Father. Just let me at least greet her... once. It has been 18 years since I have seen her.::
Darth Kelion frowned, "Very well, you may spend one hour with her when she awakes. Then I shall decide what to do with her and you will except my judgment," Darth Kelion turned on his heel and walked over the dead body of his former apprentice, "When you are finished we shall continue your training, as it seems I am in need of a new apprentice, since you did manage to get that."
Sensing that his mother had not awaken yet, Darth Saaron got up and followed his father. "Does that make me your new apprentice, father? Thank you for granting me time with her, and I will accept what you decide." He opened his mind to his father through their bond and allowed him to search his thoughts if he wanted, showing him all of his loyality. "What of our Jedi prisoner?"
Darth Kelion searched threw his son's mind causing slight pain as he went on but finding no disloyalty, "Yes, that makes you my new apprentice. Concerning the Jedi, tell the Admiral to have her knocked out and transferred in a Force Cage to the Academy." Darth Kelion looked at his son, "Your mother may try to tell you things that are not true, you should not take to heart anything she tells you," a soldier came up and interrupted him, "Sir, she has awakened." Darth Kelion Force choked the soldier for interrupting, "Thank you, I'll be going now."
Darth Saaron smiled to his father. "Thank you, master. I will contact the Admiral now, she should arrive shortly. Enjoy your.... time with her." He chuckled. As Darth Kelion force choked the soldier, he used the force to shock him, causing him even more pain. "Although I must say... destroying you former apprentice... was fun." After the soldier was dead, Darth Saaron pulled out a comlink. "Admiral, knock out our Jedi guest, place her in a forcecage and bring her down here.... Now." He said coldly, cutting the link before the Admiral could respond and then walked to his mother's cell and greeted her. "Hello mother, I have been granted one hour with you."
Darth Kelion was pleased with Darth Saaron and walked to his chambers to await the arrival of the Jedi.
******
On the Star Destroyer, the Admiral injected the Jedi with enough knock-out juice to kill a normal person to ensure that the Jedi would not wake up. He had her transferred to a Force Cage that he transferred to a shuttle and sent it down to the planet.

Serela looked up at her son, "Please, Ben, you must leave this place, before it is too late. You are a good person, look inside yourself, you know this. You are not a killing machine with eloquent words like your father. Your father was never a good man, even from the beginning, I just couldn't bring myself to accept this fact. I thought I could change him, that you would change him. But I was wrong, just before you were born he began telling me what an excellent killer you would be and what a wonderful asset to his campaign you would be and I knew. That he would not change. Please Ben, before it is too late."
"Please mother... I came down here to try to get to know you. Forget the force... Just spend time as mother and son. I don't know what father will do to you after my time is up... but I wanted to get to know you. I cannot escape, I am father's apprentice, and he has a force bond with me now... I fear that he could disapline me in more than one way if I attempt to run." He walked into her cell, and lowered his hood. "All this time, I thought you would appreciate the fact that I tried to save you, please do not critize me for that."
A tear fell down her face, "Ben, you are all I have left in the world. I know why you did what you did, I will not criticize you for that. But Ben, I am in a cell, awaiting execution by my husband who is destroying my son piece by piece, I haven't eaten anything in 4 days, I haven't slept for three nights out of worry of what you are becoming, and you won't even try to figure out what I am telling you," she dropped her voice down to a whisper, "There is more then one way to learn of the Force, and there are ways to break bonds or lessen them so they are not nearly as strong. I love you Ben, and I wish I could spend more time with you, but I don't know what to say. With every word I hear coming from your mouth you sound more and more like your father."
******
Darth Kelion headed down to the Detention Room having sensed that the Jedi had arrived. He gave her an antidote that woke her up and said, "Welcome to my lovely Academy. I do believe it is your first time here, I would offer you a tour but you appear to be a little contained at the moment."
Darth Saaron embraced his mother and swore he felt a tear fall down his cheek, he rested his head on her sholder. "Lets chat somewhere a little.... more approperate." He led her to his new quarters here in the acadmey. "Please forgive me, mother. I did not know what father had done or what he had planned. But I fear I am too deeply involved. First, what has happened since my birth? Did you know I was a orphan for ten years of my life?"
Aurora tilted her head to the side. "Oh, you know schools, Kelion. You've seen one, you've seen them all." She sat on the floor of the force cage, eyes closed. "Surely you have better things to do, Kelion. I have nothing to say to you."
* * *
Arion glanced up at the newcomer. "Friend of yours, I take it, CSI?"
Sarela nodded, "Yes Ben, I knew. But at least you were still human and could still feel for others. Your father killed your grandparents, but some how you escaped him. I was so relieved. You and I are more connected then you think, I have felt most of what you have felt during your life, that was how I knew that your father had found you. It is never too late to turn away. I can teach you how to block your thoughts and feelings from your father, that is how I survived and that is why you can not hear his thoughts. He never had any intention of teaching you because then you wouldn't be able to hide from him."
******
"Oh, but I think you do. Come now, you are a member of the Jedi order, a respected member at that. I am not stupid enough to think that you don't know anything about the Republic or what the Jedi have planned," Darth Kelion said as he walked over to a control board. He flipped a switch that electrocuted the Jedi, "Tell me what you know, I may even let you live."
Aurora flinched as the electrical current swept over her, but managed to buffer herself with the Force just enough to keep it from seriously injuring her. "You- you'll never get anything from me, Sith!" she gasped out between spasms.
Ben lowered his head in defeat. "Mother... if father knew I was hiding my thoughts from him... he would punish me greatly. I would rather not risk it. If you would like to teach me, you may, but it would not be likely for me to use it. You... could still pledge loyality to him and then escape."
"Oh, we shall see," Darth Kelion said as he turned up the electric shock's power.
*******
Sarela shook her head ruefully, "To what Ben? You are all I have. And when your training with your father is complete, you will no longer care. If you feel that it is best for you to stay with your father and follow that path, then I will respect your choice. I love you Ben, remember that when I am gone."
"Mmm..." CSI nodded, and smiled weakly, "Yeah, my friend."
The newcomer smiled, and slowly ignited his lightsaber. "Please accept my humble greeting, CSI. Critical Strike!"
CSI's mouth smiled. "Heh, Critical Strike." Then CSI pulled out his Katana, and he simply blocked the critical strike. But the clash of two powerful blows caused a blast wave and nearly pushed Arion on the ground.
