Leon looked around the black void that was his mind. He knew that though Tulak was evil he had been taught to unlock the force and how to use a lightsaber effectively. But were Tulaks teaching evil or was it just how he used him. Leon sat and began to think on the past few days. (OOC: I probably wont wake until we reach coruscant )

Darrick picked Leon up and carried him to the medical room, laying him on the bed. "I don't have a good feeling about him. If the dark side is in him it will probably stay with him probably until he dies or the darkness dies itself." Darrick loudly murmured, enough for anyone behind him to hear, if anyone followed.

Monica lowered her head, and glared. "No. I know there's good in him somewhere. I can feel it. I don't know how... but I can. I'm just... worried about him. Worried that even one of you guys might turn to the dark side." Monica came next to Darrick, and placed a gentle hand on his arm.

She smiled warmly. "You ok? You look... kinda worried."

"I'm not really sure, but i sense that we all will have regret at some point in the near future." He turned around to Monica. "Yes there is light in him, but more darkness."

Monica looked at Leon. Yes, she could sense the darkness coming back into him. She wished there was some way to stop it. Monica looked down, with sadness in her eyes.

"Darrick? Can... can I tell you something?"

((Sorry I haven't been on... but there have been weird things happenin around my house... we think someone tried to break in last night, because my mom saw some guy standin on a ladder in front of our window. (The ladder is there because we have been paintin the house).))

Kala looked into Rueben's eyes. "D-did you feel the same way about me?" she asked, after her feelings were admitted. She glanced down, sighing unsteadily and afraid of what his answer might be.


Rueben stared down into Kala's eyes. He turned his face away and gently said... "I, can not let attachments get to me right now.... I've got a huge conflict going on right now. Ask me again when this is all over."

Rueben looked out the window and saw they were approaching Courscant.

"Monica, Darrick, Leon... when we land... I'll show you your rooms." Rueben said.

(( Oh, man. I'm sorry to hear that. I hope that you guys are okay. ))


Kala glanced down, and sighed quietly. He was right. There were conflicts going on, and she didn't want to get Rueben unfocused. Kala sat down, and covered her eyes to hide the tears.

Monica looked at Rueben. Then saw the planet of Coruscant. "Wow!" she exclaimed. "This is like a 3D movie!" Monica couldn't wait to be trained as a Jedi, and defeat evil bad guys. The main thing that kept hold of her was learning the ways of the Force.

A smile crept up on Rueben's face. He could feel the young girl's excitment.

"A 3-D what? Do you mean a holo-vid?"

The smile faded when the ship landed on Courscant... the Jedi Temple... was... well... he couldn't feel the Lightside of the Force or the Darkside of the Force there. He looked to Kala and knew she could or couldn't feel it too. Rueben looked down at the ground, and deeply below the surface, he could feel the Darkside getting stronger.

Leon woke a cold sweat drenching his body... He had dreamt of her... He had dreamt of Monica but in a way he had never felt about a girl he turned and looked around and spotted her and happyness began to fill him. The darkness may be returning he thought to himself but I have Monica here... he looked outside to corruscant and smiled they had arrived, now the fun begins.

Monica turned to Rueben. "Oh, back on Earth... we call some movies "3D". See, when you wear glasses with red and blue lens, then the movie image looks like it's popping out of the screen. It's kinda like a holo-vid, but also totally sweet."

She took out her CD Player out of her bag. As she placed the headphones on her ears, listening to "Glamorous", she looked at Rueben, and smiled. "Wanna hear it?" Suddenly, she saw Leon. "Leon! You feeling okay?"

Kala could feel coldness through her spines. It made her shiver. The Dark side was almost gripping the place, but Kala knew that it had to be stopped. She wiped away the tears, and glanced at Rueben.

"uh... yeah" Leon said trying to grip onto the last scraps of the dream they were in a vast open field flowers everywhere.. there was kissing and.. he just couldn't renember. Why did he feel this way about someone he ahd just met. Leon turned round and jumped of the bed nearlly loosing balance he fell back down using the bed for support.

" Seems i'm a bit wobbly..."

Rueben's eyebrows shot up... "What is that thing? And why is music coming out of it?"

He shook his head at the machine... and turned to Kala. "You ready? As soon as we drop Monica and the others off at the Temple... we'll run and see what's going on."

Luke dropped out of Hyperspace and saw the Falcon headed towards Courscant. He followed it, and ignored the Darkside coursing through the Underworld of Courscant.

Monica answered Rueben's question. "Oh, this is called a CD Player. You place a compact disc, also known as CD, in this machine, and close it back up. Press play and... bam. You hear music, coming from this headphone."

She had a nervous look on her face. Monica wasn't the type of person to give presentation. "It's really good, once ya get to know it, but... I really don't know how the music comes to life. Maybe... wires are connected in it." She started to laugh. Monica saw Leon, tripping. "Oh, Leon." She got up and helped him up on the bed.

Kala nodded, still looking out in the view. As her thoughts for Rueben were running through her mind, she could barely say anything. Kala turned around, and got up, facing Rueben, but looking down. "Are we... there at the Temple yet?" she asked quietly.

"Not yet... if you will just trust me long enough... once this war is over... I will tell you how I feel for you Kala." Rueben said.

Rueben turned to Monica...

"Do you mind if I take it apart later? I'll put it back together... it may turn out better than before... I'm good at fixing and taking apart things." Rueben asked. "I just wanna see what makes the music come out."

Monica looked at Rueben with surprise. This CD Player was given to her on her 11th bithday... but then she smiled. "Ok. But whatever you do... please don't scratch or break my CD. My favorite artist made this music..." Monica smiled nervously.

If he says he's good at fixing and taking things apart, she trusts him. Suddenly, her golden locket glew. Monica opened it, and as a holo image appeared from the small mirror, there was a woman. It was her mother, Suzanne.

"Monica? Monica!" She could hear her mom calling for her. Monica had tears in her eyes, as she watched her mother sit down on the couch and cry. "First my husband... now Monica!" Her mother continued to cry. Monica closed her eyes. "Mom."

Kala glanced into Rueben's eyes, and smiled warmly. "I've always trusted you, Rueben... and I always will." She hesitated. Then asked, "Will you keep your promise?"

Seeing Monica begin to cry leon pushed himself up from his bed and comes over to Monica to comfort her.

" Don't worry it'll be ok," He said holding her in his arms.

" If only we could get back,"

"Alright, we're hear!" Han called out, as he landed the Falcon inside the Temple Hanger.

"Well, that sure was quite an adventure full of suspense!" Han glanced at Leia.

"I am all bothered, stressed and am currently hungry for you!" She shot a cheeky glance back at Han. She stood up, and Han did the same. The two of them exited the cockpit ad caught up with the others.

"Alright, kids! Last stop for the day. I need a Beer from the cantina!" he exited the ship.

As they got off the Falcon, Monica looked at Leon and smiled. "Thanks, Leon. I appreciate you comforting me. It's just that..." she shook her head. "It's just that I'm tired of seeing my mom upset like this. Ever since dad left... she's been going through a lot."

Darrick heard Monica but couldn't speak as something grabbed at him in his mind. He got a major head ache then, it went away. "That was weird." shaking his head he walked of the ship and onto solid ground of the temple. He walked up to Monica, "Sorry I didn't say anything a little bit ago something.......something was bothering......my throat."

Rueben cocked his head... bothering my throat... Darrick's words kept ringing though his ears... but he ignored them after a while.

"Ok you three... come with me and I'll get you to your rooms." Rueben said.

He walked down a long hallway and then stopped at the end of it. Three doors stood while open.

As Rueben led them to their rooms, Monica turned to Darrick and smiled warmly. "It's all right, Darrick. But... about your throat. Are you okay? You don't look so good." She looked concerned.

Rueben turned to Kala... "You ready to see what's goin on in the Underworld?"

Luke ran up to Rueben.

"Wait... I need to tell you something. The Assassin escaped our defenses... an escape pod was fired, but it was empty and when we got back to orbiting the planet, the ship was gone." Luke said.

"Ok... there are three new students... that if you don't mind... I'd like to train one of them... the girl... Monica." Rueben said.

Kala nodded her head. "Yeah. I'm ready when you are." She smiled. The Underworld was a hard and cruel place. But they had to see what was going on. She turned to Luke.

"That girl... Monica, has some kind of special locket around her neck. It can do a lot of things. I sense that if it falls into the wrong hands... who knows what will happen." She glanced at Monica.

Rueben smiled... but didn't say a thing about the locket. "Come on... we'd better go and figure out what's going on. Perhaps Monica would like to go as well?"

He held up a basic single hilt lightsaber for Monica should she decide to go. Since he set the crystal himself, the lightsaber was purple... all of his lightsabers somehow wound up purple.

Monica looked at the lightsaber. Then at Rueben. "Well... okay. I'll go with you guys." She turned to her other friends. "We'll be back. It won't be long." She smiled, and turned back to Rueben.

She took the lightsaber gently, and looked at it. "Thanks."

"This will take much longer than you think. The Courscant Underworld is a very, very dangerous place." Rueben said to Monica. "I've been down there many times and well I've always had a wookie down there with me. Luckly he still lives on Courscant... so of course we're going to get him... if you don't mind walking with a furball of course."

He whispered back to Monica, "It's not my throat that was bothering me it was something in my head that felt like it was attacking my brain." rubbing his head at the part of pain.

"......if you don't mind walking with a furball of course."
"I'd like to meet one, personally. But I'll have no clue what he is saying. Can you help me learn the language?"

"Yeah... if both of you wanna come too then come on... then he could help you too." Rueben said.

He held up two more lightsabers... one for Darrick and one for Leon...

Leon looked at the and took it something in the back of his head telling him it would be Green.

Monica laughed. "No. I don't mind walking with a "furball". It's fine." Man, she couldn't wait on starting her training. Being a Jedi was going to be fun, but it takes a lot of hard work, too.

Kala smiled. "Well... let's go!" Monica smiled, and placed her headphones back on her ears. The CD Player was in her bag, while she carried it on her shoulder.

Rueben shrugged and lead the pack out of the Temple and down below the surface. Bastila quickly appeared before Rueben and the group.

"Yes?" Rueben asked.

"Be careful, I've been checking around with Master Vandar and we've felt the Darkside growing way too quickly... we fear the Sith are rising again." Bastila said.

Rueben cocked his head. "Ok... check with Revan too... make sure that you felt the Darkside pulse, and it wasn't just Korriban."

Bastila left, and Rueben continued on down to the lower levels.

"Lightsaber ready Kala." Rueben said, pulling out his double bladed lightsaber. "He's kinda worried and so he has body guards."

Kala took out her lightsaber, and looked at Rueben. "Who, are Wookie friend?" she asked. The Dark Side was getting stronger, and she was getting worried about Rueben and their new students.

Monica held on to her golden locket, and looked down. Being in the Star Wars Galaxy meant serious business. But she wanted to save the galaxy... even from the Sith. If her planet was attacked... she'd get really angry and worried about her people on Earth.

She turned to Rueben. "Rueben? What if the Sith try to get to our galaxy as well? I mean... I have friends and family there whom I love... especially my mom." She sighed. "I wish she and dad were back together again."

"Sweet......Blue." looking at his lightsaber color, as it flashed to life.

"Be careful, I've been checking around with Master Vandar and we've felt the Darkside growing way too quickly... we fear the Sith are rising again."

"Would that be the pain in my head. Sith are trying to take over me."

"What will we be working on first?" he said out loud for anyone to hear.

Leon pressed the red button on the hilt of hisd Lightsaber a blade of emeral greed igniting he swung it around hitting know one as Tulak had taught him the basic to lightsaber combat.

Everyone knew Nadia de la Cruz had a somewhat warped perception of the world. To her, people were ranked by their usefulness to her. If they had knowledge she wanted, she would speak to them; if they didn't, they'd better be careful even about looking at her. As it was on campus, most ignored her. Only the new freshmen were looking and most of the time more seasoned students would try to capture their attention. It generally didn't take long into the school year before even the freshmen would not look at her... though sometimes it took a few black eyes.

Nadia left campus on foot, one Friday afternoon. She'd determined that the rest of a communications class she was taking was rather pointless and fully intended to skip the rest of the semester. Oh, she'd still take the tests, of course. That's all that mattered for the final grade. But for now, she had something more important.

A voice. It called to her, feeding on her distrust, daring her to strike out. Problem was, it was hard to strike out at nothing but a voice. So Nadia did the next best thing; she went looking for it. Funny thing was, the nearer she got to a little antiques shop, the louder the voice got. As she walked through the door, it began to sound as if someone was screaming at her. For just a moment, she threw her hands to her ears, but then the noise ceased and Nadia entered the little shop, looking for something she could pretend contained the voice... something easily shattered...

The Assassin left the apartment complex on Corellia. His contract, terminated.

Now for his second order of business; make relations with the Yuuzhan Vong Warlord. Something which belonged to the leader had grabbed the attention to the Assassin.

He knew Skywalker was foolish enough to believe the dangerous predator had used the escape pod as a decoy. He knew this for certain, because he hadn't encountered him yet. Otherwise, Skywalker would've been dead by now.

The Assassin made his way to the dock, entered his shuttle and fired off into space

((sorry about this habital absence, guys. It's just that, with my character, I'd like to see where this story is going for me to plan ahead. And plus, it gives the illusion of his character a mystery))

Kala glanced at Darrick, and smiled. "The first thing we'll do is try to see what's going on in the Underworld of Courscant. The Dark Side is getting stronger there, as everywhere else. We believe the Sith are rising again, and there must be a way to stop the rise of the Sith."

She looked down, and glared. "Also, The Assassin is planning a sceme against the Jedi. That's us. He maybe trying to negotiate with some species with feared technology. My only guess is... the Yuuzhan Vong. They're the most meanest, nastiest creatures that ever faced this galaxy."

Monica knew who the Yuuzhan Vongs were. She read them in her books. But the Assassin guy was starting to scare her. But as a Jedi, she mustn't be afraid. She got friends with her, and the golden locket. That's what mattered the most.

Miss Stone came from the back of her Antique Store. There at the front, she could see a young woman, about in her twenties. Miss Stone walked behind the counter and smiled. Although she was suspicious about the girl, she didn't want her costumers to feel unwelcomed.

"Hello there," Miss Stone said, kindly. "Is there anything I can help you with?"

Nadia glared at the older woman for a moment before answering with a sharp tone, "If I need help, I'll ask."

She continued listening for the voice in her head and where it was loudest; it seemed to be coming from a small vase near the back of the shop. The vase was pure black with faint white lines traced in random patterns across the full exterior. With a grin of satisfaction that almost seemed like a grimace, Nadia lifted the vase, intending to shatter it on the floor. But she paused as she heard something clink within.

"Something's in it," she said aloud. Tipping the vase on its side, she peered into it, but could not see anything. With a puzzled frown, she shook the vase and again heard the clink. Frustrated, she hurled the vase to the ground and it shattered.

"Thought so," Nadia observed, lifting a matte black chain with a swirled pendant of the same color from the shards of the vase. "False bottom." She fastened the chain and pendant around her neck and strode for the door. As she passed Miss Stone, she gave the old woman an icy glare as if daring Miss Stone to stop her. And with that, she was out the door.

Miss Stone couldn't say a word. As she watched the young woman walk out of the store, she went to where the shattered pieces were at. "Oh no," Miss Stone thought. A long time ago, Miss Stone tried to hide that hideous chain in that vase... but it seems that the girl has it now.

"Ooh. I pray that locket keep Monica safe." Who knows what that other mean looking woman might do. If the golden locket falls into the wrong hands... the galaxy is doomed.

As Monica walked with the others outside, she felt a sting of pain inside her head. "Augh!" she shouted. She threw her hands on her head. "I... feel... an...disturbance in... the Force." Monica squeezed her eyes in pain.

Leon quickly placed is lightsaber hilt at his side and ran to Monicas side trying to comfort her in any way posssible.

"What is it?,"

"They are not so bold Monica. They are bold enough to run to your galaxy as... my aunt did, but they cannot use the Force there... so you should not worry." Rueben said. "Darrick... that would probably be the Sith trying to take over. And finally Kala my Wookie friend's name is Lebo... I know a weird name for a wookie, but that's what he called himself when I first met him."

Monica smiled faintly, trying to ease the pain inside her head. "Thank you, Rueben." She turned to Leon. "I felt that... there was something dark going on... in another galaxy. I'm thinking... home." Monica looked down, worried.

Kala shook her head and smiled. "No. That's a cool name to me. So... are we walking in the Underworld, or taking a landspeeder?"

"We're walking... but first we need to find Lebo, of course I'm sure he's at the Cantina." Rueben said. "Stay here... I'll be right back."

Rueben walked into the Cantina nearest to the Jedi Temple, and came out rididng on a wookie's back.

"Kala, Leon, Monica, and Darrick this is Lebo..." Rueben said, climbing off of his back. "There is one thing that is different about this wookie that you'll probably never see again... unless of course you're at the Jedi Temple. He has a yellow lightsaber and he is wearing the traditional robes of the Old Jedi Temple."

Kala shook hands with Lebo. "Good to see you, Lebo." Monica gasped. A real live Wookie! She walked up to him. He was taller than her, and so Monica had to look way up. "Hello. I'm Monica Blair. Nice to meet you."

After leaving the antique shop with the unusual black swirled pendant around her neck, Nadia returned to her little apartment and retrieved the keys to her current preferred method of transportation, a barely street-legal motorcycle. The voice was still calling to her, taunting her, and she wanted to get away. So she descended the flights of stairs down to her bike and hopped on.

She didn't slow down until she reached a wide open area, well outside the city. Then, she left her bike on the side of the road. For some reason, the voice came clearer to her now.

Do you want peace? it taunted.

"Peace from you!" Nadia growled. "Yes, I do."

Peace is a lie; there is only passion.

"Passion for what purpose?" Nadia demanded.

Through passion, I gain strength.

"But strength to what purpose?" Nadia pressed. "I am strong of body and mind already. But without purpose, it is weakness."

Through strength, I gain power.

"Again, to what purpose?" Nadia repeated. "With no focus for power, it is ineffective for anything."

Through power, I gain victory.

Nadia hesitated. This was actually beginning to make sense. "Victory over what?"

Through victory, my chains are broken.
The Force shall free me.

"What binds me?" Nadia asked.

What binds you? the voice inquired in return.

"Lack of purpose," Nadia answered immediately. Laughter echoed around her and then before her, there appeared a tall woman with pure black hair and a cruel, blue-eyed stare. The very sight of her sent a chill down Nadia's spine.

"Child, you do not lack purpose," she said. "You lack the vision to see the purpose for which you were hidden away."

"Hidden away?" Nadia echoed.

"You are my daughter," the woman answered. "And you were split from your home galaxy to protect you from the Jedi."

Nadia's eyes narrowed. "Jedi? Is this some kind of joke?"

"The man you know as George Lucas has been here before," the woman said. "He documented what he saw. The entertainment you have seen is a documentary of life here. It is to prepare you for your destiny."

"And what is that?" Nadia wondered incredulously.

"To defend the Sith and defeat the Jedi once and for all," the woman answered. "It is time. Return to me. Say the words."

"What words?" Nadia snapped irritably, still unsure if she should believe any of this.

"They will come to you," her mother replied. "Now say them! What is the first thing to your mind? Speak from your lips. Come home, Nadia."

And suddenly, Nadia knew. And closing her eyes, she spoke:

"Peace is a lie; there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
The Force shall free me."

A brutal, ice cold gust of wind overwhelmed Nadia and when it died away, she opened her eyes. No longer was she in the middle of nowhere. Correction, she was in the middle of nowhere... but it was a very different nowhere. On the surface of Korriban, she found herself in a cave, far from civilization and her mother's voice echoed in her mind, Find me, Nadia.

With a sigh, Nadia set off to do exactly that.

The wookie roared at Monica.

"He means it's nice to meet you." Rueben translated for the girl.

A message was sent to Rueben when the new Dark Jedi entered the galaxy, because he felt a sudden burst of icy cold blast hit him like... like a lightsaber cutting though a person's body. He covered his eyes...

"It's happening again." Rueben said.

Leon smiled at then followed the others to the wookie. Leon eyes widened as he stared up at the giant that was made up of hair and muscle.

" What the..." he gasped.

Kala walked to Rueben's side. "What's wrong? You felt something?" Suddenly, she felt something stir inside of her. The disturbance felt like urgent to Kala. Monica felt it as well. "I feel... that something's come to this galaxy. Only that... it has darkness." She shivered.

"The Sith are rising... it is our turn to stop them." Rueben said. "My grandfather fell trying to defeat the Mandalorians... and I feel a strong connection to any that call themselves Sith... it is my destiny to stop them."

He uncovered his eyes to show that his face was streaked with fear.

Lebo picked him up... and tried to calm him down, but it wasn't doing much. Rueben got him to put him down and started walking down to the underground of Courscant... it had began... and he was going to end it.... early.

As Monica and the others were walking, Monica heard a voice in her head. "Monica..." The voice sounded faint. Then it became louder. "Monica..." The young girl turned to the others. "Um... guys? I'll catch up with ya." She ran to a near alley, and found a woman, standing there in front of her.

Monica could tell she was in ghost form. The woman had some kind of hood over her head, the shadow covering her eyes, but showing her mouth. From that mouth, she smiled. "Hello, Monica Blair." Monica was speechless. Then she asked, "Who are you? And... how did you know my name?"

"I am Darth Melody, but my former name is Alla Shan. I am your ancestor." Monica narrowed her eyes. "Oh yeah? How can that be?" Melody started her story. "After I killed Bastila and her husband, Revan, I knew the Republic would start looking for me. So, I setted a course for a galaxy that would not connect with the Force. That's when I found Earth."

She looked down. "Many years have past, and I lost the golden star locket. The one you have around your neck. It works for the Shan family, legendary family that's ever known. I knew someday my descendants may find it. And now that you have it... I must tell you, keep it safe."

Monica glanced at her locket. Then at Melody. "But... why me? Why can't Rueben have the locket? He's wiser than me." Melody smiled. "You are the chosen one, Monica. I pass this locket to you. I must go now. But may the Force be with you." With that, Alla Shan, disappeared.

The young girl looked down. When she got out of the alley, and walked up to Rueben, she said to him, "Rueben... I... I am your distant cousin. Darth Melody told me everything."
