Kala looked at Rueben with concern. "Ya sure? I mean, I could stay if ya want me to." She patted her friend's shoulder gently.
---------------------------------------
Miss Stone thought about it for a moment. Then answered, "Oh, yeah! There was one picture. It had a woman in it. She had red hair, pretty eyes too." She gazed down, as if to think. "I kept the picture and posted the photo of the locket everywhere I could. I waited for somebody to call, but... there ain't no answer. For the past three years, I kept this good-lookin' locket in my Antique store, waitin' for someone to claim it.
She smiled at Monica. "Guess you were the one." Monica smiled brightly, and said, "Thank you, Miss Stone." The old woman laughed gently. "Anytime, honey. Anytime."
((OOC: Are you sure you want to set this in 31 ABY? Because, believe me, I know my Star Wars history, and the city of Coruscant would have been destroyed by the Yuuzhan Vong... I think...))
The Assassin flew his shuttle out of the thick atmosphere of Coruscant. He approached a Star Destroyer, which was where he docked it. As soon as he made a landing in the Hanger, he walked out of it to be greeted by an armada of remenants of Imperials. He smirked at his audience, thinking that this wasn't the end between his conflict between Skywalker.

Han knelt down beside a wounded Jedi Learner, currently nursing him.
"Ow!" the Jedi screached at Han's inexperienced Medical skills.
""Ow" isn't the correct term to use, young man. 'Thank You' is, and afteralll I did stich you back up!" he washed the blooded area with a wet cloth, to reveal an arm with a sewed up wound on the shoulder. He turned to Luke.
"You okay, kid?"
Monica looked at her watch. "Oh man! I gotta go. My mom wants me home by
5, and it's already 4:30. See ya later, Miss Stone! Bye, Jeremy! I mean...JJ." Monica gave a them a warm smile and waved.
Miss Stone replied, "See ya later, children!" As the kids walked out, Miss Stone shook her head and laughed. "Boy, them kids are sweet as pie!" she said to JJ.
As the kids were outside, Monica replied, "Ok. Who ever can run to my house the fastest, gets to choose the game. It's only blocks away. Ya up for it?"
Watching Monica run out of the store Leon checked his watch.
" I better get to going to," He said walking out of the store he began to walk down the path.
"You can come with me if you like." Rueben said. "I would appretiate your company."
Rueben smiled... one of the rare times he ever smiled.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Luke, I have to go... I'm going to search after 'the Assassin.'" Rueben said.
Luke opened his mouth to warn him against it, but Rueben was already out the door.
"Sure..." Leon said he looked up at the sky wishing to be back home.
As the kids were outside, Monica replied, "Ok. Who ever can run to my house the fastest, gets to choose the game. It's only blocks away. Ya up for it?"
"I'm up!" He started off down the street. He grabbed the top of a fence, leaped over, and landed on the grass. He didn't remember being here before. He started off towards the other side of the yard, when a massive dog jumped on him, knocking him to the ground. The dog growled at him, "Nice dog?" The dog barked twice, walked away from him, behind the trees and came out with a stick in its mouth. The dog walked up to him and dropped the stick by his feet. "Ugh." he looked behind him as he noticed Monica running ahead of him. He wasn't going to catch up as she was faster than him. He grabbed the stick and threw it across the yard. The dog stared at the stick walked over to it then brought it back over. Darrick grabbed the stick and waved it around to get the dog more hyped up, then threw it. The dog chased the stick this time, picked it up. Suddenly the sliding doors of the house screeched as they opened.
"Get off my yard stupid kid." Darrick didn't look to see who yelled at him as he was already hopping the fence, with the brownish dog stopping at the fence barking really fast, with sharp, white teeth showing.
He ran until he ran into Monica's door, he opened it, "Monica?!"
The Assassin walked down the passages of the Star Destroyer, and followed by the corridor to the Command Dormitories, a sector of the ship where High Rank Imperials were to stay. He door of his quarters opened to reveal a rather well decorated bedroom. As he stepped inside, he met a strange figure waiting for the Assassin.
The Warrior was a representative of the Yuuzhan Vong species, a cruel and wretched species. How he aboarded the Star Destroyer without the Imperials watching was yet unknown to the Assassin. But he didn't care, for all that mattered now was business.
"I understand that your remanent of the Empire despises us Vong Warriors." the figure spoke. Like most Yuuzhan Vong, he was very tall and had a heavy builded body.
His head was sloped and had pointed ears. He also had a short, stub like noses, making his face appear like a skull.
"Thats only what my Master feels towards you. I summond you, Vong, for a little plan of alteration of my master's plan."
"An elite assassin who chooses to eliminate his master?"
"No, you misunderstood. I do not have any intentions of killing him. I only mean to influence the future regarding to the fate of the galaxy. And that, my friend, is where you come in! Tell me everything about your technology..."
As they walked out the Temple, Kala looked at her friend, who had a serious look on his face. He always looked serious, when it came to business. She replied, "Rueben? I hope this isn't about getting back at the Assasin. Revenge is not the Jedi way. Even for you. You're always calm and kind to others."
She looked down. "I just don't want ya to get hurt again. But that's why I'm here." Kala placed a gently hand on his shoulder, and smiled.
-------------------------------------------------
Monica jumped from the living room. "Ha! I won! Remember, I take Gym class!" Monica exclaimed. She looked at Darrick, who looked a little dirty. She asked, squinting her eyes, "What happened to you?"
JJ cocked an eyebrow at the excitable group of kids, then smiled and laughed to himself.
"Yes, they are indeed as sweet as pie. But Miss Stone, I'd advice you keep an eye on that kid who bought the pot, he seems...shifty," Jeremy warned Miss Stone.
"Well..." JJ spoke up after awhile, shifting nervously as he attempted to change the subject. "...The girl's pretty and seems the well mannered sort, how long have you known her Miss Stone?"
"Oh, and before you answer that, the name of the restaurant is Cracker Barrel, not Crackle Barrel," JJ smirked mischieviously, and laughed to himself lightly.
Walking down the street Leon couldn't wait to get home aa new item anslise he would spend most of the night just examining it.
Miss Stone laughed out loud. "Thank you, honey! I knew I had that wrong somehow!" Her laughter started to calm. She smiled, thinking about the first time she met Monica.
She replied, "Boooy, she was the cutest thing I ever saw in my life. Monica was about...eight when she came here. My little costumer."
Monica comes in the store, running. She sees a big lady in front of her.
"Woah! Slow down, little angel! Ya might fall," Miss Stone said to the little girl. Monica answered, smiling, "Yes ma'am." "Why, you're the nice type. What's your name, sweetie?" Miss Stone asked, kneeling to see the little girl's pretty face. Monica nervously smiled, showing her little teeth. "Monica."
Afer Miss Stone thought about the little image of Monica, she nodded and smiled sadly. "Yep. You could tell she had a big heart. That little angel."
"Revenge? Is that what you think this is about? Oh no... I just want to know the identity of my attacker... I want to know who attempted to kill me... I want to turn him back to the lightside, as I turned Luke back." Rueben said.
A frown melted onto his face...
"The Darkside is growing stronger... it must be stopped." He said again. "I have no intention of falling to the Darkside... but then again neither did the ones who fell. I promise you... I will not fall."
She asked, squinting her eyes, "What happened to you?"
"Well it's somewhat a long story." he finishes his story wondering where Xander is. "By the way, where's Xander? Is he here already?"
Han caught site of Rueban walking down the Temple with Kala. He called out to him.
"I hear what ya' up to, kid. Chasing after a man who you hold a grudge against, just because he gave you one-little-scratch." he chuckled. "I suppose you'll need help on finding him. Why don't you ride with me on the Falcon? we can look for him together."
JJ smiled at Miss Stone's reminiscence of Monica, he was glad to see Miss Stone had such fond memories. Often times, JJ would become so unmotivated, that his mind would blank out for days, and he'd even forget who his old friends were, but he often times forced himself to remember, he didn't want to forget them.
"Well, by Monica's looks, personality, and your voucher, she is an angel, by all human standards of the word," JJ said cheerily. "Well Miss Stone, I'm going to finish cleaning up, when I'm finished, seeing as neither of us have anything to do, I'll take you out to Cracker Barrel, my treat; least I can do for letting me live here and hiring me."
JJ smiled a wide smile at Miss Stone, which quickly dissapeared, as JJ went back to dusting, sweeping, and other cleaning chores.
Rueben hesitated... when it came from Han, it sounded as if he was searching for revenge. But then again Han always could make the best of situations sound bad.
"Alright!" Rueben called to Han. "But just so you know, I ain't searchin' for revenge."
Kala smiled at Han. "Thank you, Han. We'd like for you to help us." She looked at Rueben, and said, "I'm glad I have a friend like you. And I believe you'll always hold on to the Light. We'll find this attacker, and bring him to the light, as best as we can."
She spotted the blood mark on Rueben's face. Kala pulled out a tissue. "Here. This'll stop the bleeding."
-----------------------------
Miss Stone nodded at JJ and smiled. "Thank you, JJ. I'd appreciate it. 'Cause see... I couldn't leave a sweet person like you out there by yourself." Miss Stone gave JJ a warm smile.
----------------------------------
"Yeah, about that..." Monica replied. "I don't know where the heck he's at. He's probably catchin' up."
Rueben didn't take the cloth... he prefered to let it bleed rather than have it burn when the cloth touched it. It was cool out... he figured the blood would dry quickly anyway. He went to the Falcon and sat in the co-pilots chair... he assumed that Leia would stay and try to help Luke rebuild what was destroyed. R2-D2 beeped at him... but he recognized Rueben soon after he tried to vaporize him.
As Leon arrived home he greeted him mum and dad not showing them the vase. He took a plate of food and walked up stairs. As Leon went into his room he finnaly took the vase out and looked at it properly. As a almost random choice it seemed to be well worth its money strange runes in gold writing covering it’s surface he placed it next to his computer and booted it.
Picking up his camera he took a shot of each side then plugged the camera into the pc. They began working together and soon Leon had the analyser program he himself had designed up on the screen.
Searching Language choice… The text on the computer screen said Leon began eating the Lasagne his parent has prepared then began to choke on his food as on the screen the three words he had never seen came up.
Language Not Found.
“What the…” Leon said after he stopped choking he began to press many buttons on the keyboard he rescanned receiving the same answer again. He picked the pot up and that’s when he heard it.
“Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
The Force shall free me. “ A hissing voice spoke coming from no where Leon jumped as a surge of coldness went through his arm and dropped the vase it hit the ground undamaged…
A shiver went up Rueben's spine. Bastila had appeared before him once more.
"What... what's going on?" Rueben asked. "Something... feels... out of place. I feel like... like... we're missing something."
"That's... odd." Bastila said. "What does it feel like?"
"I don't know... an empty space... one I have never felt before... an echo." Rueben replied. "I fear... I fear a Sith artifact has escaped our notice for far too long. But it feels very distant... as if in another galaxy."
"Hmmm... I will go see what I can find." Bastila said. "I will get back to you, when I can."
Rueben nodded, and noticed that Han and Kala were still nowhere to be found.
"There is no emotion, there is Peace. There is no Ignorance, there is Knowledge. There is no Passion, there is Serenity. There is no Chaos, there is Harmony. There is no Death, there is the Force." Rueben muttered to himself.
Backing away from the Vase Leon stared in horror. What was it made of then again came the hissing voice.
“ Who dares disturb I Tulak Hord lightsaber master and Dark Lord Of The Sith!?” It said Leon looked around wildly then walking over he picked up the Vase still cold to the touch he turned and stared for in for in front of him stood the dark lord him self in ghost form…
“ Who… Who are you?” He asked fear rushing through him.
"I'm here!" Xander exclaimed as he got onto Monica's, "I still had to do a thing nearby. But so, who won?"
Bastila appeared next to the Sith in Leon's room.
"Leave him alone." Bastila said. "If you touch him, then you will die!"
Bastila had her lightsaber, Rueben had given it back to her... the first time they met. She activated it and held it high, for Tulak Horde to see.
"Ahahaahahah a child with a toy..." Tulak said harshly he began to fade.
" We will meet again," Were the last things he said.
"Who the hell are you?" Leon said looking at the woman who had just poped into existence also. He felt angry she had interfered.
Monica jumped up from the couch. "I did! I ran as fast as I could." She wiped her forehead. "And boy, I was tired! Let's see..." Monica thought of the game to play. Then she replied, "Let's play Star Wars Battlefront. It's a cool game I got for my birthday."
As they went up stairs to Monica's bedroom to play on the Playstation, she heard a voice in her head. It said:
"There is no emotion, there is Peace.
There is no Ignorance, there is Knowledge.
There is no Passion, there is Serenity.
There is no Chaos, there is Harmony.
There is no Death, there is the Force."
The voice was like a peaceful echo. Monica shook her head, placing a hand on it. Whatever this strange feeling was... she never felt it before. It was weird.
--------------------------------
Kala found Rueben in the co-pilot seat. She ran to him, and placed a hand on his shoulder. "I felt a disturbance in the Force..." she said, in shock. She looked at Rueben, and added, "You felt it too. Didn't you?"
((OOC: I'm giving a spoiler to my fic... so uhh... yeah))
Rueben's face grew pale and he nodded.
"It was one of the few moments... that I actually feel the Darkside surging forward. That has not happened since... since... since I felt Revan's presence in my apprentice's room." Rueben said. "I fear an old Sith Lord is back... one that weilds... 'absolute' Darkside power."
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"My name is Bastila Shan... Bastila Shan of the Jedi Order." Bastila said.
Bastila looked around the room... it was so primitive. Nothing like the teenagers in her galaxy's room looked like.
" Get away from me!" Leon screamed out grabbing his chair he through it at the ghostly woman before him and watched in horror as it flew straight through her.
" What... What are you..."
"I... I am dead. You can not hurt me... I am a Force Ghost." Bastila said. "I... I have to go."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rueben sat there... face was still pale, when Bastila showed up again.
"Rueben!" She yelled. "Tulak Horde is back!"
"Wha... no way... are you serious? I felt a Sith back, but HIM of all Sith!" Rueben said.
Leon watched as the ghostly figure faded away he picked up the chair then grabbing the vase he sat down on his bed and stared at it. Had it all been a hallucination?. He asked himself and then... then he heard it again.
Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
The Force shall free me
" You are a strong one boy," Tulak said apearing once again.
" Why are you here?" Leon muttered he was so confused. Why was it he had been drawn to the vase...what had made him choose it...
" I have a task for you a task that will in turn make me leave you alone," The Sith lords spirit hissed he walked over to Leon bed and sat his face masks of death.
" Wha.. What is it you wha.. wha.. want" Leon stuttered he had began to shiver a great coldness surrounding the ghost. Tulak let out a harsh laugh.
" You are strong child strong in a power known as the force," Tulak said Leon looked at the Sith lord in disbelief. Power? How?
" A great many things will happen to you see and when the time comes I will offer you something until then I will visit you once a night and speak to you of my wisdom and tell you stories of my past." Leon looked down at that the vase then back to Tulak but found him gone...
"Alright, so where should we start?" Han said as he sat in the pilots seat. He fired the ship up and it was currently hovering in the Hanger. The Falcon made a blast out of the Jedi Temple...
****
[Korriban]
The Assassin walked down the long, sandy desert road of the Valley of the Dark Lords. There he made a pause infront of the Tomb of Tulak Hord, a Sith Lord who specialised in the fine arts of Lightsaber Combat. He narrowed his eyes at the Stone Door. He felt through the force of something empty there... something missing. As if a huge fraction of the Dark Side had been taken from there.
"We should obviously start on the Sith world of Korriban... they are after all Sith." Rueben said, a smile on his face. Rueben turned and set the hyperspace coordinates for Korriban.
As The Falcon was set to hyperspace, Kala thought about her brother. He and she loved each other so much, until... he became Darth Vashneer. As Kala remembers, both Vashneer and her use to get into trouble, pull pranks, spent times together... and trusted him the most.
Kala looks down ashamed. She should've been there for Vashneer, but couldn't turn to the dark side with him....
-----------------------------------------
Monica and her friends play Star Wars Battlefront. It's going on 7pm. "Oh! Darn you, Xander! You're good at this. You keep shooting at Darrick and me, and you're still skilled at shooting on this game. I bet if you were in Star Wars, you'd knock em' all down!" She smiled.
The Assassin explored the remaining ruins of Dreshdae and the old Sith Academy. He absolutly despised the sith. Their coruption and cruelty was their failure, and this was the cause of habital temporary extinction. The Jedi weren't so different than the Sith.
The reason the Assassin was sent down to Korriban was to find an intergalactic criminal who stole priceless artifacts and governmental technology. This hoodlum recently stole a prototype shield generator, which was designed to absorb blaster fire and use the bolts of energy to power the machine. The disadvantages were that if it was shot repeatadly at an extremely fast pace, then the shield could overload and deactivate. A weapon that could accomplish this would be a Light-Repeating Blaster Rifle.
Though it was a prototype, the Assassin was sent to Korriban to eliminate the thief and destroy the shield generator. He used his keen force senses to locate the thief... he was inside the old academy.
Xander smiled as he found another bot player and shot it down, "Maybe, but real life is different than games. So, say, do you like that necklace you bought?"
Leon sat on sat on his bed. Why was this happening to him? What should he do about it? Questions he could not answer flashing through his head lied down and stared at the ceiling wishing for one that some boring was happening instead of his normal wish of something extrodiary. But he himself did not his fate.
Monica shrugged. "Yeah. It's cool. But the thing is... it's mysterious somehow." She crawled over to her backpack, and took out the locket. The golden star locket shone beautifully, and Monica was grateful to have something so valuable like this.
She rubbed it. Then said, "This locket might mean a lot. I mean a whole lot." Monica smiled.
There is no Emotion, there is Peace.
There is no Ignorance, there is Knowledge.
There is no Passion, there is Serenity.
There is no Chaos, there is Harmony.
There is no Death, there is the Force.
Rueben whispered... calling out to where ever it was that Bastila had visited.
Rueben sat quietly thinking about what he was going to do, when he caught up with the Assassin, when it hit him that his friend Kala was hurting inside.
"What's the matter?" Rueben asked.
Han punched few buttons on the consol infront of him. He looked at the cockpit monitor, and according to his star map, they oughta' be arriving at Korriban in a few hours.
((could someone please play as Leia?))
Kala looked up at Rueben. "Hm? Oh.. it's nothin'. I was just..." She tried to hide the tears. "I was just thinking about my big brother. How we use to love each other so much."
She shook her head sadly. "Why did he have to go to the dark side? Why? I wish..." Suddenly, she became angry. "I wish I could've helped him!!" she yelled, kicking the metal wall. Kala looked down and cried silently.
Rueben silently walked over to Kala, and wrapped his arms around her... attempting to hold her to calm her down... but he knew how hard that could be.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bastila appeared in the room of Monica, and looked at the necklace around the young woman's neck.
That's so beutiful... She thought.
She looked closer and noticed a symbol... it was the Shan family insigna...
((Just trying to tie in Monica with the Star Wars Universe... but if you don't like that... then I'll change it... and Phantom Knight- I'd play Leia, but I already have the maximum... plus one, cuz no one will take him over.))
((No, no! This is good. This locket can be the Shan family insigna that was long lost. :) ))
Monica went down to her kitchen to get something to eat. "Walk it out..." she sung under her breath. When she reached the kitchen, she looked in the refrigerator, and took out a slice of cake. But as soon as she turned around... "Aaah! Who are you?!"
---------------------------------
Kala closed her eyes and smiled, as she held Rueben. She looked up at him, her eyes watery with tears. "Thank you, Shan." Kala sniffed. Then added, "Well... it doesn't have to be all that bad. At least I have a friend who cares." She closed her eyes and hugged him.
"Aaah!"
Darrick sat in the room playing Battlefront, when Monica screamed. He stood up, dropping the controller, rushing to the kitchen. "What is it, a monkey?" He looked over noticing a transparent blue woman. "Who are you?" not knowing Monica asked the question before-hand.
"I am Bastila Shan... of the Jedi Order." Bastila said once more. "That locket... it seems to be my portal between my galaxy and this one."
Bastila cocked her head... "But where am I?"
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rueben smiled... he could feel his great grandmother trying to explain who she was. He tried to stop from laughing, but he just couldn't hold it anymore.
After he had finished laughing, he looked out the window.
"Korriban!" He gasped. "We meet again."
Leon eyes closed the sleep he had been fighting off finally taking hold of him all went black apart from a single red light in the shape of a blade in the distance. Leon looked around as on his right side more red blades joined the other and on his left green and blue lights also looking like blades appearing.
Slowly the place began to light up revealing the faces of Monika, Alexander, JJ, Darrick Jenkins and himself amongst the green and blue blades of light now protruding from steel rods held in the hands. Leon blinked the light almost blinding on his left side but on his right side the light was dimmer still bright enough to reveal the same faces only... they were different. They looked scarred pale full of hatred both groups stared at each other or were they looking at him?
"There will come a time when this very battle will happen within you," Tulak said suddenly appearing on his right a more fuzzy figure apeared of Bastila as if she was just a image not there. Tulak ignited his lightsaber its scarlet blade adding to the others as the image of Bastila ignited her own yellow blade. Tulak began to laugh and pointed his lightsaber at the opposite group and so both groups charged getting closer and closer to Leon until... There was nothing.
Monica looked at Darrick. Then turned her head back at Bastila. "It's... a pleasure to meet you. I'm Monica, and this is Darrick. You're in the country called the United States of America. This planet is named Earth. In the Milky Way galaxy." Boy, Monica felt suspicious. She glanced at her locket.
"So... this locket is like a portal? How can that be? I mean, it looks like a plain old locket."
-------------------------------------
After Miss Stone and JJ ate their food, Miss Stone smiled at JJ. "Thank you for the food, JJ. It was a mighty great pleasure." She wiped her mouth with a napkin.
"You're welcome Miss Stone, the least I can do. Now, how 'bout we leave, I'll call a cab to take you home, while I'm just going to walk around the city for awhile, seeing as I have nothing better to do for the night," he told Miss Stone with a smile, placing the tip, and getting up from the table, he waited for Miss Stone.
Miss Stone got up and walked with JJ. "Why wouldn't anyone want a sweet young man like him to stay at their house?" Miss Stone asked herself, staring at JJ. She smiled warmly to him and asked, "Ya sure you don't need a ride?"
(ooc: ^ that was a random post. I was wandering if its ok to use my theory on the force and its effects on the enviroment. Eg; The enviroment around high amounts of darkside energy say from the sith vase/ Portal for Tulak effect ll living things around them. Plants become scary corrupted versions people become pale ghastly figure or look like they havn't slept for years. The grass around Leon's house for example would be come dark and thorn like. Just wanted to make sure. )
"Ya sure you don't need a ride?" Miss Stone asked him, he only smiled and shook his head. He headed out of the restaurant with Miss Stone, using a payphone, he called the cab service, then hung up. His posture was a bit stooped, his face sullen and straight, almost sad, but he wasn't really sad; hands in pockets, and eyes full of thoughtfulness as he waited with Miss Stone for the cab, before he would go walking around the city.
