"'Other things'?" Sara asked, her eyes widening, "What sort of 'other things'?"

"Well, you have a lot of predators living on the forest floors of Kashyyyk. You have the five-limbed kkekkrrg rro, arachnid webweavers, incendiary flame beetles, gorryl slugs and there are also Katarns, which are...."

Suddenly,a pack of creatures appeared and were coming closer to the three humans standing in the middle of the open forest floors.

"very..."

One of the creatures growled as it started coming closer. It had horns on it's head which seemed capable enough to pierce a hutt.

"VERY..."

The other creatures started coming closer to the group untill they were only three meters away.

"aggressive..."

"Eheh..." Sara eyed the creatures with a mixture of fear and uncertainty. She held her vibroblade up, trying to decide which would be the best choice of action. After a moment, she stepped back behind the Jedi, prodding them forward.
"Ahem...good luck!"

"Unlike Katarns, these Kybucks tend to stay in packs." Jethro continued "They're herbivores but they will try to defend their young if they have to. He could barely stop himself from laughing after he waved with his lightsaber saying: "Schoo! Schoo!" and the pack of herbivore Kybucks ran off.
"Surely a couple of herbivores wouldn't scare the two of you now would they?" Jethro grinned as he turned to face his sister and Sara.

Sara blinked several times as the creatures ran and scattered, scarred by the slightest of waves from Jethro's lightsaber. Standing straighter, she peered at him with narrowed eyes before prodding him in the chest.
"You tricked me!"

"Now why would I do that?" he said teasingly.

"..... maybe you should turn around and look at that creature behind you." Kyla said although she made it sound like she actually meant it.

Jethro heard another growl coming from behind him. As he turned around he said. "Stupid Kybucks why won't you go aw..........."

"ay?" As Jethro looked at the creature he noticed it wasn't a Kybuck, but a Katarn instead. Before he had the chance to turn his lightsaber on, the creature hit him in the chest at full speed and rammed him against a tree.

"Jethro!" Sara shouted in surprise as the Katarn rammed him against a tree. Acting on impulse, the woman hefted her sword again, and ran at the creature. Sensing her movement, the thing whipped around towards her. Growling, it lashed out at her, forcing her to jump to the side with a surprised gasp. Even then, one of its horns caught her arm, tearing flesh.
"You're turn!" she called to him, whipping her sword in front of the thing, her injured arm hanging at her side as she distracted the Katarn.

"Jethro!" Sara shouted in surprise as the Katarn rammed him against a tree. Acting on impulse, the woman hefted her sword again, and ran at the creature. "Well that hurts." Jethro said, as he struggled to get up again.
Blood was coming from underneath his robes and it dropped down on the ground below him. Nevertheless, he turned one of his lightsabers on and started moving towards the katarn, which immediatly turned around after it noticed the lightsaber.

"Sis would you mind....."

Before Jethro even asked, he noticed that Kyla ignited her lightsaber behind the creature and slashed it into it's side, tearing through it's flesh and cutting it in half. "Nevermind." he thought

Sara watched the two halves of the creature fall to the ground for a moment before turning her attention to Jethro. He was bleeding profusely.
"Jehthro!" she darted to his side, "Are you alright?"

"It's nothing, just give me a minute..." barely able to stand, Jethro decided to sit down against a tree.

"He'll be fine." Kyla said as she stepped closer "Just heal yourself already Jethro."

"As I said sis, give me a minute."

Sara knelt next to him, placing a tentative hand on his shoulder.
"Are you sure you're alright? You don't need help?"

"Just one sec alright?" Jethro said as he put his hand underneath his robe and placed it on his chest.

"Get it over with Jethro." Kyla insisted, looking around to see if there any more predators nearby. "We still need to catch up with those stormtroopers."

When his hand came in touch with his wound, a blinding green light came out of it and lit up the entire area around them, just like it did that day in the warehouse. It continued to shine for about ten seconds until the light faded away again. Jethro peeked underneath his robes and saw that his wound was fully healed and he got up. "There, told you it would only take a minute."

"Well heal her arm while you're at it." Kyla said when looking at Sara's arm.

"Er...no, really, that's alright." Sara answered, standing again, "I'll be fine. Really, I don't want you to tire yourself."

"It was my fault you got that wound in the first place and the blood will only attract more predators if I don't heal it. So unless you're telling me you'd rather be eaten by hordes of blood thirsty predators........." Jethro reasoned, as he grabbed Sara's arm. "I'll heal your arm."

She looked at him for several moments before conceeding.
"Alright, do what you want. Just..." she winced, "Be careful."

"Ok then, hold still for a moment." he gently pressed his hand against her wounded arm and the bright green light started coming out of it and the wound started to heal. When the wound was completely healed and the light faded away again, Jethro pulled back his hand and said: "There, that wasn't so bad now was it?"

Sara opened her eyes as the green light faded and peered at her arm as his hand lifted away. The slash in her shirt sleeve was still there, but the wound was completely gone.
"No, I suppose not..." she looked at him, "How did you do that?"

"That is a question I can't answer myself. Besides, we've wasted enough time on this little incident already.
We've been delayed long enough and our wookie friends are still being enslaved by the imperial remnant."

Sara nodded, and wipped her blade off on the hide of the Katarn.
"Right. Let's go."

The three followed the direction they took from the start and after a while they were getting back on track.

"They passed this area not too long ago." Kyla said as she was stepping over a dead wookie's body, which was still burning from blasterfire.

They followed the trail of footsteps for about ten minutes until they finally reached a clearing in the forests' treetops. They could see stormtroopers patrolling the edges of the clearing and more of them escorting the wookie prisoners to the imperial shuttles. Jethro counted at least fifty stormtroopers out there.

"Looks like we've got our hands full here."

"Something tells me this may be a bit more than we can handle by ourselves..." Sara murmured, her eyes scanning the multiple Stormtrooper patrols.

"Great, now what do we do?" Kyla asked as the situation looked close to impossible.

"Well, we could try to lure one of their patrols out into the forest and take them out. Then we could steal their armor and use them as a disguise. The main problem is, how are we going to kill them without damaging their armor?:

Malus was now in the Echo, watching the overhead space battle over Kashyyyk. Ralmun was next to him, but Malus didn't feel like talking. All he could think about was John Ranger. The one he had offered a place in his new Empire and the one he had refused. Malus could sense something about John, but he couldn't tell what. Only time would tell.

While doing his sweep John noticed several people in the distance. He also noticed they weren't storm troopers. John aimed his weapon at the group and made his way behind them without them noticing. He got in a suitable poistion,rolled out and shouted "Idenitfy yourself...I'm John by the way."

Ryan instantly ignited his lightsaber.

"Ok Kyle. Thanks for this opportunity, I think I deserve it, but what if I lose?"

Kyle imediatly swung his saber to Ryan, which backflipped.

"If you lose it means nothing." Kyle said, rolling and plunging his lightsaber to his front which Ryan blocked. Kyle kept swinging up and down, which strikes were always blocked. Kyle then swung side-wards, not hitting Ryan but knocking him to the ground below. In the floor, Ryan then back-rolled and nipped-up and they entered in a saber clash which none won, getting separated.

"Very well." Ryan said. As he swung his saber side-wards, which Kyle bolcked and countered into a front-ward hit. Ryan already expected so he blocked Kyle's hit. Ryan tried something more difficult, by using a carth-wheel hit. Now on this one Kyle had some trouble on blocking, but he made it. Kyle prepared himself for a stab hit. When Ryan landed on his feet, Kyle tried to stab hit him with full power. But if Ryan didn't knew the counters of a carth-wheel, he wouldn't used that move, so he doged Kyle's attack.

Malus could sense Kyle fighting with a former friend of Malus. His name was Ryan and he had always idolized him. Now Kyle was taking him on as his own Apprentice. Let him try, Malus thought, I have no use for him no more.

"That I am." Said John, not lowering his weapon. "Now identify yourself! John ordered.

"Calm down, we're on your side John." Kyla answered
"Me and my brother are Jedi and this is Sara, the captain of the ship that brought us here."

"What are your names?" Asked John, placing a small capsulle into his blaster riffle.

"Kyla" "and my name is Jethro, would you mind lowering your weapon already? We're in enough trouble as it is and we don't need another blaster shooting at us."

"Yes I do mind." Replied John "What are you doing here? Did the Jedi Order send you to defend the wookiee's or are you after Malus?"

Hmm, my rising Empire is starting to have threats, Malus thought, That John is trying to recruit two Jedi Knights against me. What next? Will the Jedi Order and the whole of the New Republic revolt against me?

"It's time to end this," Malus said to himself, "I attack Kashyyyk from above. That will be harmful to the New Republic."

The Echo fired its every turrets on the Planet.

"Yes, the Jedi Order send us on a mission to help the wookies, now are you going to help us or what?" Jethro started getting annoyed by John's distrust.

"What..." John replied "the hell is that?" John pointed to the sky. "Dammit Malus' ship is firing at the planet! I've got to try and stop him! Do you think you jedi's will be able to handel what imperial force are left on this planet?"

Kyle and Ryan then began an intense saber-fight, swing after swing, dodge after block, parry after jump, flip after slash. Kyle then swung diagonally, but Ryan blocked, jumped forward and flipped in mid-air, landing on his feet. He then turned around and Force Pushed Kyle to a wall, knocking him to the ground. Kyle then turned around and Ryan put his lightsaber nearby Kyle's throat. Kyle then smiled and Ryan turned off his lightsaber and helped getting up.

"Ironic, the Battlemaster almost overwhelmed by lightsaber combat but beat by Force powers. Anyways, Congratulations Ryan Lightbringer, Jedi, Knight of the Force." Kyle told Ryan, possibly and hopefully inspiring him.

"Thank you Kyle, you know how much that means to me." Said Ryan while Kyle positivly whaved his head. "Now, let's go inside they might be worried.

"What..." John replied "the hell is that?" John pointed to the sky. "Dammit Malus' ship is firing at the planet! I've got to try and stop him! Do you think you jedi's will be able to handel what imperial force are left on this planet?"

"We'll think of something, just stop that ship from bombarding the planet."

After he finished saying that, he saw a group of stormtroopers going back into the forest. "and it seems like we just found a way to get closer."

"Your right, besides, we need to look for Jaden." Kyle told Ryan. He dusted off his clothes and went inside where Jan was waiting.

"Well, we are going, thank you for your hospitality," Kyle thanked Jaden's parents, "if we can bring Jaden back to the light, you'll be the first to know."

"Thank you Master Jedi." Lordo thanked Kyle as they left. They entered the Raven's Claw, Jan fired up the engines and they blasted off.

"Where are we going?" Jan asked Kyle.

"Wherever the Force guides us." Kyle told her, entering the hyperspace.

"Gurilla tactics, you think?" Sara asked, "Hit-and-run?"

As the Raven flew in the infinite space, Kyle noticed a barrage of TIE and Star Destroyers over Kashyyyk (sp?). Jan then looked at Kyle as he grinned.

"Your not thinking what i'm thinking." Jan said.

"Oh yes i am." He told Jan. She sighed as she made the Raven full speed into Kashyyyk. Avoiding many TIE and shooting some in the way, they could finally enter Kashyyyk, also avoiding many blaster shots and landed in front of a swampy area surrounded by trees. They got out and entered it.

"Gurilla tactics, you think?" Sara asked, "Hit-and-run?"

"More like 'Stab in the back-and-run' and we'll need one of those stormtroopers' armor to do it. First we need to take out the patrol that just went back into the forest, but leave one of their suits intact. Do whatever you want to the rest of them. I'll explain the rest once we have the armor, so let's go." Jethro said and started walking into the direction the stormtrooper patrol went.

Sara watched him begin to head off, and shrugged. Making an exaggerated motion, she murmured, "After you!" and followed.

"Looking for some hidden Wookies, are we Kyle?" Said Ryan, trying to guess what was obvious.
Then Kyle explained that with a good army of wookies, they could at least liberate a village from the siege of the Imperial Remnant.

"Yes, with a such massive invasion the three of us couldn't just liberate the wookies from all the Imperial Remnants." Ryan concluded.

Jan asked if the invasion benefits of a Star Destroyer. Kyle said that unfortunatley they have.

"If they have a Star Destoyer then maybe we're not the first Republicans to get here, and this may got wost than a invasion..."

Jethro stopped and turned around: "Come to think of it, it might be a better idea if you go first. They may be clones but I doubt they will shoot a beautiful young woman at first sight. The two of us are wearing robes with "JEDI" written all over them and will most likely get shot on sight so, "Ladies first." he said grinning and made an exxagerated motion.

Sara narrowed her eyes at him. "Evil. You two knew that we were headed to a planet most likely occupied by the Remnant, and all you bring are Jedi Robes??"
Sighing, she flipped her blade in the air and went ahead of them.
"If I get shot, you can be sure that you'll be feeling more of it than me." she muttered.
