what program do you use to edit XML?

I wanna change the retreat thing, and I'd also like to know how to edit XML, since that sounds like it's gonna get big (first Civ IV used it, then this....what's next, I wonder? I know there are probably more, but these are the only ones I know of). I'd like to have at least a passing knowledge of how to edit XML, and the program required

Of course, if you really must know, XML is web code, so if you have a program that reads HTML, CSS, and stuff like that it would work.
But I use notepad too.

I would use notemap as well, I have done only personal modding of the game since I still have not found that .meg extractor everyone was using.

Right click on an XML file, click on edit. Opens notepad for you, edit away!

They did not want the extractor tool on the forum here. Alot of people have a copy. Some personal websites have the tool.
