I prefer the box art for UK's DVD of Hot Fuzz.

I'd have gotten the 2-Disc Special Edition, if the price of just the standard edition wasn't so cheap. Plus, I probably wouldn't have watched the special features anyways. :xp: I haven't even watched the special features for King Kong.

And I bought this off iTunes for $3.99 since I had a bunch of credit off iTunes to spend. I still have off $20 to spend.

What? V-Wing? That letter is already taken!
Anyway, been playing MGS Portable Ops and I think it's the only game in the world that I can truthfully say "I'm grinding for doctors." Seriously, I've raided and kidnapped four doctors from one hospital in two days.
Hey Coupes, that one "Sir Arthur Benton" looks really good, can you provide a link to where I can get it (preferrably Amazon.com, but it doesn't really matter)? Thanks!

Yeah I thought back to The Rogue Squadron game too.

Thanks! It's pretty good indeed, if you like history and WWII, but I don't know if it's available in English though. You might want to go to your local bookstore and ask a clerk to check their database. But if you haven't seen it on amazon.com, I doubt you'll have any more luck elsewhere... :/
Awww man. Oh well, thanks anyway.

Does it involve either saving a princess besieged by the forces of undead evil, or by leisurely entering the beds of wealthy spinsters in Miami, all the while protecting your buddy and his IRA girlfriend from the CIA?
(Burn Notice is a pretty cool show...)
Also: Do you really need that many books to prove that God doesn't exist? :p

I don't get your second reference there, but it involves teaming up with a kung-fu mastering Richard Gere to take down the Hollywood machine.
Also: The subject is interesting, I'm already convinced on the subject. The God Delusion is, however, a very interesting and well-written book by a great scientist. Recommended even if you're a religious person. ;)
Where did you go to in the US? Was it scary like everyone says? Hobos and gang-bangers and fat people and Bible thumpers all abound? : P

It's from a show called Burn Notice (
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0810788/). Bruce plays a sidekick like character who is ex-FBI and spends most of his time woo-ing rich widows. :P

Burn Notice. (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burn_Notice_%28TV_series%29) Since I imagine you probably don't get the USA Channel over there in Norwegiania, I'd recommend finding a copy of the show through whatever means at your disposal, as its a pretty good show.

Dedham, a small town not far from Boston. And just for your information, I've already spent a year in the US between 2000 and 2001, so I was well prepared for the loonies. ;D
I'll have to check out Burn Notice, Bruce makes it worth searching for.

Wait, you were here in 2001 when the Trade Centers were felled...and the next time you come back, a bridge collasped. (

I sense that that America's next war is going to be Operation Kick Nordic Ass.
:p
I don't know what it is but that has a certain ring to it doesn't it?:p
It involves the slow but sure penetration of McDonald franchises, not unlike the manner in which herpes propagates, into the various cities of Norway. Eventually, they, like America, will become overwrought with an obesity epidemic, which will overtax their socialized health care systems to the point that they're left a broken, sad, and fat country. Once their spirit and their belts have broken, it's only a matter of sending in our armed forces and gloriously liberating their communist country with equally liberal amounts of violence and flowing rivers of blood that shall not coagulate for weeks.
Although, in all likelihood, we're just going to skip the first few portions of that sinister plan and go straight to bullets and bombs. It's the American way.

By far the best post in a loooooong time.

Why were you here? I know for a fact that there's nothing of interest here.

I have relatives there, and as I mentioned I've already spent a year there.
*Wonders what Pie's relatives are like*
Any cheek-pinching? : P
Edit: Good thing... I raced the full Pikes Peak on DiRT in a Toyota Tacoma. It was a perfect race, no crashes and I only hit one sign on the entire 10-something mile hill-climb track. It was fnckin' crazy!
But it helped that I discovered a secret for the Tacoma: There is Acceleration, Braking, and Cornering. These all tax the car's friction, but I discovered that if you let off the gas when cornering, you'll never lose control and you don't have to slow down braking.

LOVE THIS GAME! It is innovative, exciting, and yet easy to play even on the hardest setting. I especially like the ability to electrocute slicers in Rapture. I have to say this game far exceeded my expectations.
...yet easy to play even on the hardest setting.
Doesnt that defeat the purpose of a hard setting?
Doesnt that defeat the purpose of a hard setting?
It's only easy if you think your actions through. You can't go running and gunning about, or else you're going to die pretty quickly, but by hacking gun turrets(fun mini game!) and using plasmids right, most fights are easy. Except for Big Daddy fights...even if you're prepared, they're still a bitch.
Although, strangely enough, it's MUCH easier to kill two big daddies at the same time than only one, thanks to the Enrage plasmid.

That is right about where I am now. I just defeated the crazy doctor. I bought the enrage plasmid, but forgot to equip it. How do I go back and do that. Right now I am at that point where I don't really no what to do next.

I guess I should specify. By easy, I mean the controls are easy, and there is never any confusion as to where you need to go, or what you need to do. Although I have been playing FPS games for years, many of them kind of leave you guessing, or back tracking a lot. There is some back tracking in Bioshock, but they keep it interesting. Like when you go back, there may be more splicers waiting for you, carrying various things like med kits, bullets and money, or even EVE. Sometimes certain blocked areas will be open at a later time, extending the game either farther with rooms containing more "loot" for lack of better words. There is even a big gold arrow at the top of your screen that points to where you need to go (kind of similar to the compass in Call of Duty). The only real mystery in this game is what the hell happened to Rapture, and how you eliminate your enemies. Like Tyrion said, you can't just run through this game, or you'll be sorry.
