Yeah, Kingdoms was fine, except for the American campaign. Too easy with the Spanish cavalry, too boring with the Natives. Quite unfortunate really. But the Teutonic Knights though...hehe...so fun....  [Read More]

Far superior to StarCraft. Yeah, you heard me. 1998---->2004 :dozey: I love Medieval 2: Total War, but it's not exactly an RTS. Really great strategic depth and being to annihilate numerically larger armies through your tactics is really sati...  [Read More]
Wow. I'm glad that's all behind me and I was allowed to draw whatever the hell I wanted. I grew up in the middle of the DragonBall craze and we were mimicking the characters on the playground. Granted, the comics were banned due to the violence it c...  [Read More]
However, this doesn't justify the arrogance of Americans toward citizens of other countries, which is fostered by the media and our self-aggrandizing education system. It's actually a great source of anti-Americanism. After all, who likes to have so...  [Read More]

Could be, but still, it might be different since Mass Effect is so close to release as opposed to any Star Wars MMO. It's possible LA could pull out. Anyway, I just prefer to live with the idea that a KOTOR MMO will not be made before K3....  [Read More]

Your tears and suffering sustain Bioware... EA and Bioware did merge. It isn't like EA just fired everybody and moved on... although I may be ignorant to certain facts. Much of the team may still be around, just under new management. It is up to tim...  [Read More]

Epic and Crytek are mostly game engine makers though. They've made some amazing game engines that other companies use to make good games, but Epic/Crytek's own games are fairly generic and bland from a story/gameplay perspective. Feels more like tech...  [Read More]

In a perfect world...... I think you missed the point. The legislators have legitimacy to act. Of course, who has been elected with 100% of the vote? No one. The fact that you disagree with certain laws does not make the entire system illegitimate....  [Read More]

As regards nonviolent offenders, house arrest and community service seems like a much better idea (keeps the lib judges happy and minimizes the pressure on jail overcrowding). Always thought that minimum sentencing guidelines were a bit draconian and...  [Read More]

Raise your hand if you have kids and you disagree with this law. What does it have to do with anything? Even if I had kids, I don't smoke, so it wouldn't affect me in particular or any non-smoking parent as a matter of fact, unless their kids ride...  [Read More]

I wonder if this law can be enforced? It seems highly unlikely that police officers will be able to spot something like that unless they erect barricades and check every car. Then there's the "myth" of the cost on society. Many want the ba...  [Read More]
Well, as Yogi Bera used to say....it ain't over till it's over. Still, keep in mind that Turkey also closed out the option of a pincer attack on Iraq in 2003. So much for the "loyal ally" that wouldn't cause the US problems. I don't believe...  [Read More]

If you had a friend who was ugly, would you tell them so just because it's the truth? It depends. If it's to help them evolve, sure. I know I've done it and I did help them evolve, not just slap it in their face. If it's just for "fun",...  [Read More]
