I say keep it unless you just don't like the name. I've seen a couple of users change their screen names in the past after some heat..... for any forum members that payed attention, this doesn't change the image that they have. Flanders is a good ex...  [Read More]

I've always had a big concern for America's public image in the world, which is one of the reasons why I opposed the war. Bush's attitude was/is very centric when it comes to foreign relations, and this is problematic for every American that travels...  [Read More]

Perhaps. I just don't see an easy end to it all. My reasoning with an embargo that was equal to both sides was that, once they ran out of resources (food, medical, water, oil, etc.) they would have to work together in order to survive. There are al...  [Read More]

I can't say that I'm a big fan of Bush, but I also have to realize that this "road map" isn't a creation of George W. Bush. It's a creation of his advisory council. Regardless of what I think of the administration, I also think that there i...  [Read More]

Spammers must pay. The threat, if carried out, of jail time and stiff penalties will definately affect the way they do business. But I suspect that most will simply switch to off-shore, out of country servers to defy regulations of individual states....  [Read More]

The problem with looking for the "smoking gun" should be obvious. If this were a case of a policeman arresting a crook because he "knew" he was guilty, then went around searching his home, job, shaking down his friends and family,...  [Read More]

I would suggest speaking to your school guidance counselor as soon as possible. At the very least you'll settle some of your own fears by passing the information you have. At most, you'll be saving a life. Don't keep the burden of what to do. Let so...  [Read More]

Interesting topic, considering it's origin. However, opinion versus fact is, or should be, an easy enough discussion. The best opinions are supported by facts that both sides of an argument cannot dismiss. That is not to say that a fact cannot beco...  [Read More]

Affirmitive Action had it's place in the 70's and perhaps the early 80's when the stigma of the fight for civil rights of the 60's was still very much on the minds of Americans. Unfortunately, today's manifestations of the Affirmitive Action plan ex...  [Read More]

I don't think it's illegal to give money to a panhandler, but rather to engage in the practice of panhandling. Ironically, reversing that law might have been the way to truly get rid of panhandlers: make it illegal to give to a panhandler. I spoke...  [Read More]
