As I understand it, the crystals used in Jedi lightsabers are naturally produced and have to be mined/refined etc. while the naughtier force users make do with artificially-produced crystals (which is why they're always red). How is this to be handle...  [Read More]

The book/s isn't/aren't a masterpiece. It/they is/are merely brilliant. I shan't go into personal opinions about it all, because then this would become a rant. I shall merely mention that BBC Radio did an audio version of The Lord of The Rings which,...  [Read More]

Avatar? Oh yeah, that thing... Laziness. That, or I am not l33t. Or I don't ownz, or roxxor, or something. No, it's laziness. When the site I most frequently visit gets it's own...whatsit, domain space...and I can upload an avatar directly to the...  [Read More]

In my experience, JK2 has done the best job of trying to convert swordplay to something you can do with a mouse and keyboard. Personally, I'd be happy to relinquish some of that control for the sake of making it look more like the 'real' thing. Givin...  [Read More]

What with being able to make smeg-knows-how-many-variations of smeg-knows-how-many things, it occurs to me that there must have been a great deal of thought put into the technical aspect of the Star Wars universe. I've seen the occasional tech manual...  [Read More]

We're talking about classics, people. Yoda's bouncing-rubber-ball hack'n'slash and funky Matrix camara work are probably in the top hundred...but they're not CLASSIC. :p Never seen Blake's Seven, but I do think Roy Batty should have beat the Sinclai...  [Read More]

Nicked this from a news website: Darth Vader's confession to being Luke Skywalker's father has been voted the top moment in science fiction. The scene from Star Wars epic The Empire Strikes Back headed a poll of 100 sci-fi sequences from TV and fil...  [Read More]

http://www.brokenallegiance.net/media/video.html It's SW-related so I hope to get off with a wrist-slapping. Been around a while, of course, but it's the gag reel that made me do it. If you download only one movie, make it the gag reel. It's worth i...  [Read More]

OOC: This is just something that popped into my head while I was in the bath an hour or so ago. It may be a one-off, or not. In any case, it'll likely start off slow, so please be patient and don't run off with it when I'm not looking. :p * Trahern...  [Read More]

Whaddathey could do is add spaceport-building to the architect's list in the space expansion. I mean, there's not much point in being able to build your own spaceport until people build their own ships to park in them, right? I imagine allowing play...  [Read More]

Hm. I don't think you can make a schematic without a crafting station, so you'd need to use a weapon, droid, general item tool to do it. Then stand next to a w,d,g crafting station, make a trap, and choose Make Schematic instead of Create Item. Then...  [Read More]
