You know, I have never tried that, the first time that I played KotOR 1, I just bluntly ran out into the open and started shooting at it. As you could probably tell, it didn't end too well. I had to go back a full hour to get back to where I was. :(...  [Read More]

Wow, of course it's the Rancor. Try taking him one-on-one! LOL! :) Good point! I voted for Sherruk, not necessarily because he was hard to beat, but because his weapon(s) dealt a lot of damage to you. Malak was hard to beat the first time, but it go...  [Read More]

It is fire season in California, and I find it highly unlike that arsonists would do that. I agree with what JM12 said, most of those fires are either an accident, or naturally. Those fires are pretty bad. I hope those that were rendered homeless wi...  [Read More]

Hello peoples, I have been wondering myself if State tests, such as the WASL for me, or STAR/CAT, along with every other state in the United States, is really necissary. I mean I recently got my scores back, and by no means am I saying that they are...  [Read More]

If your views do extend to literature then you are severely limiting your education and development as a person. I hope that you don't refuse to read Hamlet on the grounds that it involves murder. You're missing out on what is arguably the greatest w...  [Read More]

Curious, but if playing a game is bad in your opinion, how do you feel about litereature? Do you enjoy reading stories where people are being killed? Do you refuse to buy a book where people are murdered (or subjected to other indignities) b/c you mi...  [Read More]

I'll be polite, it's Napoleon. Sorry, I mispelled his name. Whether I think murder in real life is a sin or not (which I do), I don't think it is in a video game. Why? Well, because it's a video game - it's not real. I highly doubt God really cares...  [Read More]

It's pretty easy really. "Thou shalt not murder" != "Thou shalt not simulate murder" That I already knew, tk. I was, I guess you could say a little bit "stunned" because Capt. Sparrow was 100% correct with what he said...  [Read More]

Something I've been wondering while I was reading through this thread: If it's not ok to play a game where you "pretend" to be a god, what makes it ok to play a game where you slice countless people in half with a lightsaber? "Thou sha...  [Read More]

To be specific, "thou shalt not have any god's before Me." is referring to believing in other gods before God-god. You could, in theory, believe in other deities second, third, fourth, ect...to God, if we're only taking that one Commandment...  [Read More]

I'm glad to hear that you've found something you believe in. Unfortunately, however, it still hasn't gotten rid of that annoying question of mine. :( I could say, for instance, "It is sinful to wear blue pants." Most people's reaction to th...  [Read More]

NFS: Hot Pursuit 2. Great game. I really only like the NFS games were you outrun the cops. I thought NFS: Underground II was a bit cheesy though. Is there not enough "illegal street racing" games out there? Regardless, the NFS series was go...  [Read More]

That may not be very brave, but it was smart Sadly, I have to agree with that. Malak was the main character in KotOR I, but I don't think that he was a very good Sith Lord. He really was only a brute, as mentioned before, and not a very good leader....  [Read More]
