Guys i have noticed something in my Tekst File post... "...destroy it from the inside..." wath do they mean destroy from the inside :edeaths: (I have a bad feeling about this) I'm pretty sure that means you bring the shuttle up to an enemy...  [Read More]

i guess that its a hero unit... but if its buildable it will be like the Executor... I think that Piett, Thrawn, Ackbar, etc should be buildable because they all come with powerful ships... its weird to get the ships free... considering that they are...  [Read More]

You certainly have a sharp eye for updates Ablett. This changes the fundamentals of the Zann Consortium's space strategy. I'm sure Torpid will show up soon to explain the function of these Destroyer Droid boarding parties. I know, this could be a p...  [Read More]

There are indoor missions in this game, correct? =) Yeah there are, but I don't see what that has to do with this. It clearly says in space, so I see it as a way to disable large ships quickly. This could be really dangerous for the Empire and Rebe...  [Read More]

Now that probably got your attention! Check out the concept art for the Droideka MkII at the Official Site - http://www.lucasarts.com/games/swempireatwar_foc/ And read the little description. It says something about Droidekas being able to board shi...  [Read More]

Delphi - so the Consortium can't acquire the larger ships, such as the Imperial Star Destroyer and Mon Cal Cruiser? I'd hope not - besides the obvious gameplay imbalance this would create, in-universe only 1 ISD has ever been stolen, to the best of...  [Read More]

Yes .. I checked the planets.xml from the foc demo and it has those coruption missions data. Every piracy mission grants a new buildable space unit rebel and Imp low tech frigates and corvets and high-tech fighters. So we could see a Consortium forc...  [Read More]

Ablett i assume u have seen the Video over at IGN.. Where the Consortium is going through the Death star wreckage. The tartan patrol cruisers are actually bribed by Tyber. So they are in his control. But not buildable ;) Yeah, I saw that and that wa...  [Read More]

Is this an actual Consortium unit? It was in the demo, if I wasn't seeing things. If so, why? The consortium already has a cool, unique corvette - the crusader - so why would they have smelly old tartans as well? I don't quite see the reasoning for...  [Read More]

I was waiting for the demo to download - Australians almost universally have slow internet :( - and I was reading about the Consortium heroes on IGN. http://pc.ign.com/articles/737/737230p1.html In the mini article on Tyber, it mentions he has two...  [Read More]

I've got a question about the demo: when I was battling on a planet I'd already corrupted, there was a small border of yellow fog on the upper edge of my screen. This happened for both the space and land battle on Kamino. Will this be permanent? Beca...  [Read More]

On the PFF, they said wookiees would not be a balance to the other factions' planet controlled units. They said the rebels have more of their power in heroes, so I guess they think wookiees would unbalance them. Yeah, that's what I meant. They did s...  [Read More]

Obviously Alliance get to use wookiees. I meant as a unit that can be used like any other when a certain planet is controlled. The Alliance will still have indigenous forces loyal to them on planets, but I doubt we'll see 'wookie warriors' as a regu...  [Read More]

Maybe a "stealth" ability like our friend Tyber. This brings up something that I've been wondering - where exactly is Tyber getting all this cloaking tech? Proper cloaking stuff in the EU relies on crystals that are all but exhausted by th...  [Read More]

I bet their special is something along the lines of a "sneak" mode, in which they move slowly but undetectably. And since they are "Noghri Assassins," I hope they either have some special ability on the Galactic Map or that their...  [Read More]

It's true. Honoghr has normal indigenous Noghri, but if the Empire controls the planet they get access to Noghri Assassin units. Are these indigenous units formidable like wookies? Noghri are suppposed to be pretty nuggety little fighters... @Darth...  [Read More]

I'm pretty sure I read something over at the Petroglyph Fan Forums about the Noghri being an Empire unit when Honoghr is controlled, a la Nightsisters and Dathomir. I'd like to ask if this is true, or if my mind is going. Is this confirmed? If this...  [Read More]

I agree, those darktroopers look awesome. By far the best new Imperial ground units in my opinion. The phase 1 darktroopers will probably operate like the royal guards in EAW. I expect that their shields will repel blasterfire as well. The phase 2...  [Read More]

Speaking of the level 3 DarkTroopers... in one of the MTV videos you could see one of them doing something like firing wrist lasers. Do they have wrist lasers, or for that matter any weapons other than the shoulder-launched rockets? I'm not too sure...  [Read More]

The Arc Hammer has more than enough space to accommodate a factory. It only looks small because it's adjacent to the Executor and even the mighty Imperial Star Destroyers are dwarfted by the Executor. By game-scale I would say the Arc Hammer looks ab...  [Read More]
