X-Wing series myself, with the exception of X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter, which didn't really have a story to it. :) I used to play Galaxies too, but the rampant Jedi in a Jedi less time, and the complete lack of understanding what the time period the ga...  [Read More]

Darth Moeller - there have been a few posts already about WHY the second death star should be in the game. The fact is that the first deathstar had a superlaser that could only fire once a day, it needed time to cool down. The second death star had...  [Read More]

I will let them slip with the Death Star. At least we have the first one, but I will not forgive them for the absence of the TIE Interceptor. I mean if the rebels get star fighters from Return of the Jedi, then I think the Empire should as well. Whic...  [Read More]

The thing about making an SSD is just that it would be severely unbalanced with the rebels. While they could come up with some creative ways the rebels would balance it behind the scenes I'd also rather not see another "Bulwark Battlecruiser&quo...  [Read More]

I'm abit disappointed we didn't get to ask the question I posted for the chat, namely if it was true that the game, not the tech tree (this we knew already), ends at ANH. Meaning we get to play for 2-3-4 years (or whatever many years they settle on t...  [Read More]

So far I think the rebels have a greater advantage star fighter wise, with the X-Wing, Y-Wing, and A-Wing. But with the way you acquire the X-Wing, as a rebel you might not even get it if you fail....  [Read More]

Yavin IV is one of several moons orbiting the gas giant Yavin. Endor, or the Sanctuary Moon as it's called, orbits a gas giant called Endor. Thus the term "Sanctuary Moon of Endor". Why it's called that though I'm not totally sure. So no,...  [Read More]

You probably arn't able to produce Mon Cals until you've "researched" them. And as been stated above: While the B-Wing wasn't finished designed until shortly before RotJ, the Mon Cal ships, which were at first converted cruise ships, had b...  [Read More]

The B/W was developed by Ackbar as a FRG killer. The FRG is on the side of the Rebellion in this game so there is no need for the B/W. But I still want it and the T/I. There are other frigates in Star Wars too to take out, and so it will be in EaW....  [Read More]

So Like I said Jan the Interdictor is useless in this, since we can't do Hyperspace Ambushes so it's got no use there and since next to no-one realistically retreats it has no use there either. Well, then there are alot of fools out there then for me...  [Read More]

It does make me wonder though, why did they put the Interdictor in it's primary use was to enable hyperspace ambushes. Few people often bother to retreat in games so it's use in that role seems somewhat well gone. Few people have ever played an RTS w...  [Read More]

Ambushing ships going thru Hyperspace would be cool, but was nothing I expected to be in the game. Having the ability to call in reinforcements to assist an ongoing battle above a planet I never expected to be in the game at all. So nothing new there...  [Read More]

I think they were thinking more of the smaller units, like troopers and fighters. Obviously, larger and more protected units, such as AT-AT's and larger star ships are going to survive quite a long time....  [Read More]
