I've debuted this model earlier at massassi.net.
I'm almost done with this md3 object. Just need to texture the landing gears (not shown). I've managed to reduce the original 1500+ vertex model down to the more proper md3 limit of under 1024 verticies.
Not too much detail was lost. Most of you probably will not even notice any changes.

If no suprises come up, this should be ready for release in a few weeks.
:drop2: Didn't see the other but that is astonishingly accurate. This belongs in the modelling part of showcase i believe though.
wow, that looks superb. do you have any other map models in the works?
Any possibility on releasing a higher poly ASE model? Q3Map2 allows it, so you don't have to put it in MD3 or worry about the verts so.
Little request,
You think you could throw in a little ting under the ship so you can go in the cockpit
Little thing under the ship? Sorry I don't know what you mean. The pilot gets into the ship by flipping the canopy lid right?
Wow, thats impressive. I'm asuming it's made 100% by yourself right?

Of course it is 100% made from scratch. The only thing that I didn't make was the R4 head. That is just a recolored version of Raven's R2.
This is should be the last pic I'll post for this model. The model is complete. Any other MINOR suggestions about the model before I send this off to various mod banks?

thx in advance
HOLY MAMMA thats looking very nice dude... ill enjoy jumping on it ingame;) lol
:drop2: *thats all I have to say!*
Looks superb, one thing is that the R4 is coloured wrongly: the bits that are silver on yours are red in the movie and vica-versa.
AK Piggot wants one of these for his Mace Windu Party Crasher map.
Contact him about it 'cause this would be done justice in his SP level.

Crap! You're right. I've already sent the model in to this site. Oh well. If anyone really has to have it colored right, I guess I'll have to post a replacement jpg somewhere.

Anyone is free to just this model. Were all just waiting for jediknightii.net files to post it.
I wonder how much backlog is there with jkii files? My Kamino Clone Jar hasn't even be posted yet, and I think I sent that in sometime before new years.
Has this been released yet?
If it hasn't when are the staff going to pull there fingers out of there arses and do some updates to the site
There must be hundreds of files waiting to be released
Hey Darksaber...
You probably don't know me, but I was big fan of XWAU...
Great work!!!
I've seen the prefab used in a map (Sith Homeworld) but I haven't seen it released.
I thought I'd seen it at PCGameMods.com, but I was mistaken.
I'll see if I can find it, but I don't think JKII.net has put the file up yet. :(
Thank you :)
And GreenDevil, thank you also :)

Thanks for spreading the word. I totally forgot to notify people here that the model was released at LucasFiles.
