Monkey Island?
Aha, after considerable research, I've found that it's Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 2! I should look into it, I wasn't aware it borrowed from Hindu mythology. Especially now that I have... the necessary apparatus to play PS2 games. >____________>It's actually the first game. The second one have these bizarre half-breeds of Asuras with Data-humans:

Should probably try it someday, it's one hell of a good story, although the second installment wrap it up in a very intrincate, overly complex hell.
Nope, its not Monkey Island. :p
Ummm, revenge of the "one-legged-pissed-off-PuertoRiccan"?

Hmm, the UI for the two games looked identical...
Fun fact: In Hindu mythology, the devas are gods and the asuras are demons while in Zoroastrian mythology, the asuras are god-like beings and the devas are demons.
@ Ulmont: You Bungie fanboy to :D That's Pimps at Sea, Bungie's best game by far, 5/5 ~ IGN

One thing's for sure, this thread is a hell of a nostalgia trip.
Assuming it isn't a game that never got released... F/A 18 Interceptor? These flight simulators all look very alike each other.
This game did get released, and I played its demo very regularly (times were different then...), so not F/A 18 Interceptor.
Let's just say that looking at the picture, it should be easy to find out over Google.
Ulmont got close, but not YS Flight.
Ehh flight combat sim 2.0?
A-10 Cuba! or A-10 Attack!. I think it's the first option.
A-10 Cuba! is right. :) I thought it would be a breeze for you guys, what with the beautiful Cuban scenery in the background. :xp:
Odyssey: The Legend of Nemesis.
Alright, so inspired by Sabre's last one:

A game which soundtrack still haunts my mind.
F-14 Tomcat or Jetfighter
EDIT: This is a personal challenge for Ctrl Alt Del, for making me relive painful memories (not of that game, I've never seen it before, and I'm about 50% certain my guesses were wrong, but of reminding me of this game and its impossible to beat final level, and its infuriatingly difficult landing system)

F-14 Tomcat or JetfighterNope, not these. Think outside the box. :p

To Ctrl Alt Del: Nope :D
Oh, its based off of that one movie isn't it? Grah, but I can't remember the movie. Is it FLight of the defender?
To Ctrl Alt Del: Nope :DJesus, I have no idea what yours is, then. Tips?
Is it FLight of the defender?Lol, no.
HINT: Press SHIFT to do a barrel roll.
^^^Lol.
Ehh, is it destroy planet earth?
Dude, this is not Starfox. :p
I'm talking about that alien invasion game where you're the alien going around destroying stuff and like zapping stuff, and probing people and dogs.
You're thinking Destroy All Humans. And no, DAH is a LOT newer that whatever Ctrl Alt Del's game is.
I'm gonna say...
Independence Day the video game!
I'm gonna say...
Independence Day the video game!
And we have a winner!
Now if someone can figure out what Ulmont's is...
Combat Flight Simulator for Ulmonts?

I threw you a curveball. No looking up picture's source website.
If you KNOW me, it shouldn't be too hard to figure out.
......and you're a yutz if you can only half guess it.
GTASW, a Back to the Future GTA: San Andreas mod? Or just a SA mod? Or just the regular SA game?
a Back to the Future GTA: San Andreas mod? Or just a SA mod?
Close but the game is off... And the additional skin mod makes an otherwise white guy look black. (Admittedly some of SA's ground and scenery have also been duplicated and added in this mod to give that "California state" feel of hill valley and hilldale of BTTF)
Or just the regular SA game?
Regular unmodded game with a Delorian in it...please tell me you're joking. :p
GTA: SW City? :p
...Smartass. :smirk2:
Close but the game is off...
Is it Vice City, then?
Based on the quality of the graphics, I was thinking GTA 3...
Is it Vice City, then?
Correct.
Well since CAD hasn't claimed his prize for such a long time, I'm going to take the liberty of posting this:

Nope, this game was originally for the Commodore 64, and only later got ported to Atari. Early 80's.
And while I'm at the whole hinting thing, it also proves a statement made by someone else in this thread to be completely and utterly false.
And, if one prefers a more round-about, enigmatic way of getting answers, here is the game's name: DMCFMT VEFIYF KTWWADTIRQM
It's a regular unmodded game with a delorian in it?
Either people have lost interest, or have just given up on my game. Just in case it is the latter, since I don't want to be a thread murderer, here are some more, more obvious, hints.
When I said that there was a more enigmatic way of getting the answers, and that the game's name was "DMCFMT VEFIYF KTWWADTIRQM", I was hinting that I had used the Enigma cipher to obscure it. Go ahead and learn how to crack the Enigma if you want (or cheat and find some program to do it, but you're missing out on learning some cool cryptanalysis history and methods).
If you want to guess the normal way, the fact that I chose the Enigma is a hint about the nature of the game. Also, the person whose earlier claim in this thread is proven false by this game is none other than our friend Sabretooth. It is also the second game in its series.
I figure anyone who makes an effort can figure it out now, so if no one gets it, the thread died due to lack of interest. So these will be the last hints.
Well gosh darn-it LB! I'd really hate to see this thread die, on a account of you. So I'm gonna do you a favor and take a crack at it.
Drum roll please!
:band1

^^Woo Hoo! :3pdance: I'm a winner! (But seriously though, I'll bet your glad somebody finally got it. :))
Okay, this should be an easy one and it's obviously Star Wars. One of my all time favorite strategy space war games. Surely one of you SW fans played this game once upon a time.
