Hey Everyone wanted to let everyone know that i am working on a new mod that is going to be adding some new planets and new Quests and Possibly A couple new recruitments. I wanting to come up with four planets that were known to be jedi align or had academy's on them, also 4 planets that where sith aligned or training academy.

Here are a few of the planets that i have in mind. Ossus,Ruusan, Yavin IV, Ziost, and Kashyykk, Tython

If you have any others that you think you may like in this please let me know, Also i know i may need help with the scripting, so if anyone could lend a hand in this it would be appreciated.

Also Thinking of Adding 2 or 3 more Sith lords that you would run into and possibly 2 o4 3 more jedi masters that you would interact with.

Here are the Sith planets in the works on this mod.

Ambria
Umbara
and possibly Dresdae

Yavin 4 is already being made for TSL, I would replace that with something else. Do you have any modding experience?

yeah i probably will did not know it was being made for tsl, but thats ok i have few others also in mind for it.

And yes i do have some modding experience im already working on getting the planets into the game. at the same time reading through all my star wars relation guides to find what all sith and jedi masters were alive during the time of the exile.

Hm, I don't want to break your enthusiasm, but adding *some* new planets with modules, quests, landing and take off scenes etc. is *very* ambishious.

On a site note, I only modded K1, but I am sure there is a finite number of planets one can add to K1, and I assume the same goes for K2. One of which is covered my M4, which everyone has or will add to there favorite mods.

All in all, I just want to suggest that you tone down you plans a bit and start with something smaller.

Just my 2 creds...

Hmm...this is an ambitious project. Just to let you know, I am creating a mod that adds a new planet, Ator from the Core Worlds. However, this does not conflict with your mod immediately, so I don't see a problem of conflict here other than the navicomputer map. Best of luck!

Well once you get it completed, maybe we can get together over it and see where if any are any compatibility problems may happen.

i know it seems like a big project and it is going to be one of the biggest ones i have done. If i have to ill probably break it down into two parts first working on four jedi planets or sith, such as ossus tython and so forth and then make sure there compatible with everyone's. I agree along with the coruscant mod both mods are two that i use all the time.

Im not going to say its going to be done in the next week. i just wanted to let this idea out there and see who would be interested or think they want to get involved in a project like that. if not. then i guess i will be testing myself to the limits....lol

and i respect your two creds worth..i did start off with something small already, just now trying to work it up.

Unless you completely model them as a new area in 3dsMax, (I doubt GMax can be used to make new areas; correct me if I'm wrong) no.
And if you did model in the rooms, then you'd have to remove the stuff blocking the entrances in 3ds.

Or you could skip those hassles and do what InSidious did with his tomb mod (http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/file/Tomb_of_Azgath_NDul;86662)

Jedi Master Nomi Sunrider:
Jedi Master Vima Sunrider: Was Suppose to have been the exile's master before she went off to the mandolorian wars

J.M. Lucian Draay

Also will be working on incorporating 3 jedi techniques i.e. such as makashi and so forth, but mainly the sith versions of some of these and some that jedi dont teach or learn such as Teri Kasi(or steel hand) Darth Maul was known for this form. Dun Moch, and Jar Kai.

your quite right on that part, i dont think either of our mods on the planet would be quite the same. im not one for trying to steal someone elses work, i rather get the help i need and then do the work myself or get some more people helping out on this.

Thanks for that info, this part might take me awhile i have limited experience with this part but hopefull can get some good pointers from some of the modders here in the forums.

also need help in the skinning area have limited experience in this field.

Edit: Well after some serious digging, it looks like i will have to make up some names for the new sith lords that i will be incorporating into this mod. due to the untimely death of all the sith lords till darth bane comes around...

Due to the nature that Nomi Sunrider, and Vima Sunrider where never kill in the Mandolorian Wars, which leads me to believe they went into exile. there was a storyline awhile back that nomi thought you had killed her daughter was seeking revenge on you, until you gathered an object or convince nomi that your didnt kill her daughter. so im thinking somewhere along them lines Lucian Draay is the only other one that im thinking of added to the council that kriea would end up sucking the life out of at the end.

No i will incorporate them into the faction, the quest i will be given to you by kriea that you will have to hunt down these unknown sith lords that are lying in wait.
