Knights of the Old Republic: Revenge of Revan


Intro of the Plot

The game takes place 10 years after kotor2. There are Phantom Ships appearing out of no where attacking small Republic instillations. Many of the leaders in the Senate have put blame on the criminal organizations: Exchange and the Hutts. There is conflict growing from worlds who felt the restoration of the outer rim have been to costly. Many systems are pushing for more power over their own systems which could weaken the Republic’s military strength. The Lost Jedi have return after the battle at Telos IV to rebuild the Order. The Jedi are still to few and the fear of the Sith still lingers in minds of the Jedi who survived the Purge.

This game will send you on an adventure that will force you to search for Revan, the Exile and the Sith. You will be hunted by the Sith and the Jedi. You will have no allies except your party members but can they be trusted. You will unlock a secret that will plunge the Galaxy into a War. The question is which side you will join. Every secret will be revealed...
Every character’s Fate will be fulfilled…..

The opening scene is a space station over Corellia is shot out of orbit by an uncloaked Sith War Ship…….

PC-
Male or Female/ age 18-20
The PC is a padawan to Jedi Master Quan Drayan. The PC meets the Jedi Master while his master is in Exile. The Jedi Master is one of the Lost Jedi who survived the purge. Quan Drayan takes the kid (PC) in since his/her mother dies of a disease. He senses the force in the child. He does not train him/her until a few years later when they return to the Jedi order on Coruscant. If the Order knew what he knows about the PC, the PC would never be trained as a Jedi. The PC will become close with another fellow student named Liana Arrel. She is a year older then the PC. They become good friends. Arrel will become a Jedi right before the beginning of the story.

The Lost Jedi- These are the Jedi who were in hiding during the events of kotor2. These lost Jedi survived the purge and after the battle of Telos IV, they came out of hiding to help rebuild the Jedi Order. The Jedi order believes that Revan and the Exile are dead. The council is made up of Jedi who are not the most experienced. There is only a few Jedi Masters which include…….

PARTY MEMBERS part1

T3-M4 -droid
The droid does not join party in fighting, stays on Ebon Hawk or the Sister Hawk
You find the droid on the Ebon hawk. The droid will stay on the sister hawk do to its injuries. There might be some scenes where droid leaves the ship but you will not be able to add him to your active party. He will have the list of planets you need to visit. The droid will also give you information about the past two Kotor games as well as the ending to kotor2.

Quan Drayen
Jedi Master/ male/ species Kiffar
He is your Jedi Master and teacher. He is one of the lost Jedi who came back from hiding after the battle at Telos IV. He is very secretive. He has been looking for clues to where the Exile and Revan went. He will later be accused of being a Sith spy since his research. Later in the game you will be able to talk to the spirit of your Jedi Master only when you have completed a certain task and become 99-100 percent light side. He will appear in a certain part of the Sister Hawk.
Your Jedi master history:
The PC’s Jedi master trained on Dantoonie with the Exile. They were close friends. Your master did not join the war against the Mandalorians. He did fight in the Jedi Civil war on the side of the Republic. He was present when Malak launched his attack on Datoonie. He will tell you how master Vandar and Vrook survived the attack. Your Jedi master was not present at the battle of the Star forge. Shortly after the end of kotor1, he left the order and went into exile. He stayed there for many years. He did fight the sith assassins sent by Sion. Your master will sense the enemy was defeated and your master returns to the order with the PC who he picks up shortly around the time he comes across the Jedi Exile.

Kaila Saris
age 20-26
Pilot/ smuggler
Female/species-Human
She was arrested transporting arms to the exchange. When your party escapes the Republic's ship, she will fly you to Natta Hutt’s space station. She is confronted by her contact about her failure. You will be given a side quest to go to a planet and get some arms and bring them to the space station. The Exchange will attack Natta Hutt and take over the station completely. You can do this or double cross your contact and tell Natta Hutt and aid him in getting rid of the exchange from the space station.

Nindo Bahr
Male/ species-Duros
Mechanic, tech upgrades
Nindo Bahr is expert in creating new weapons. He can alter your armor and weapons. The Duro has a dark humor to him. He is Kaila’s smuggling partner. Nindo actually worked on the Ebon Hawk back when it was owned by Davik. His father was Davik’s top mechanic. Nindo’s father died on Taris when the Sith attacked. Nindo survived the attack along with a few friends and his mother. Nindo then started to work on a new ship using the basic design of the Ebon Hawk. Kaila and Nindo meet up and start working for the Hutts as well as the Exchange

Liana Arrel
Female/ species- human (Jedi)
This is your childhood friend. You have trained with this person for many years. She is a year older then you and she just received the rank of Jedi just before the beginning of the game. She is very dedicated to the Jedi Order. She is loyal but her beliefs can be shaken and she could follow the dark side, since she needs a strong leader/teacher. She will help you sneak into the Jedi Temple. She will then cross her masters by helping you.

Cain Thrall
(Male/ Species- Chiss)
Member of the Disciples of Kreia
This character is a follower of Kreia’s teachings. He was one of the only sith that survived the attack on Malachor V from the Exile. He will join you since he has been training for this moment to battle the true sith. He is a natural dark side character who leans to the middle section on issues. You can try to turn the character to the light side but it will be hard. He represents Kreia’s teachings. Later you can have him turn on his fellow followers and cleanse Malachor V. This character is the opposite of your childhood friend.

Party Members part2

Ancient Builder droid:
The Droid will be found in the ruins on Corellia. The droid will be damaged but you can find parts to fix the droid. The droid will argue with HK-47. The droid’s side quest will be about the history of the Infinity Empire and a secret chamber which can be discovered if you fix the droid to 100 percent. The Droid will aid you in your quest.
You find the broken droid on Corellia but only after you get to Duro that you find a similar droid with the piece which can be used to make the droid full operational. After Corellia you can have the droid in your party.

You find both Dustil and the female Genoharadan on the Hutt’s space ship but only after you complete Duro.

Dustil Onasi:
(Male/ species- human)
You will only be able to meet and recruit Dustil if Revan was light side in kotor1. Dustil will not be a force user when you meet him. You can convince him to go back to the force and either becomes a dark side or light side user. You will come across him in the game after Duro. He will over hear you talking about Revan. Dustil has been working in the area of future trade routes. He will work for the Czerka Corporation which wants to expand its trade in the galaxy. Dustil has given up the use of the force. If you decide to retrain Dustil in the force he will start with a few basic powers. You can also decide to keep Dustil as a non force user. Dustil could be a love interest for the female PC. Later in the game you can reunite Dustil with his father Carth at the end of the game.
When you meet Revan, Dustil will thank Revan for saving him from the Sith. You can also push Dustil feeling for his father in a favorable light or unfavorable. This will affect the ending when Dustil meets Carth.

OR
A female Genoharadan assassin/bounty hunter:
(Female/ Species- …)
You can recruit her into your party only if Revan was dark side in kotor1. She is out to restructure the Genoharadan organization. She is an up and coming figure in the Genoharadan. She will first only tell you she is a bounty hunter but later you will find out she is a member the secret organization Genoharadan. In kotor1 Revan killed the main leaders of the organization. In kotor2 the Genoharadan have changed a bit in their focus. She wishes to make the Genoharadan powerful and influential in the remodeling of the Republic. She will join you after she finds out you are looking for Revan. She secretly wishes to kill Revan so she can use it gain power in the Genoharadan. She has been training since she was 5 years old.

Wait a minute. Your planet list shows Malachor V. If this takes place after TSL then your going to have to remove that planet. Since Malachor V was destroyed by the Mass Shadow Generator at the end of the game.

You are right, if you choose the light side then the planet is destroyed and if you choose dark side then the planet stays intact.

My solution is that when the planet blew up as shown in the game the planet simply broken into large pieces. Remember in Star Wars episode 4, Alderaan was blown into pieces and the result is a cluster of rocks from the former planet.

When you fly to the planet, you only land on part of what is left of Malachor V. This piece of the planet will contain part of the old Sith Academy from kotor2.

The intro fly scene for MalachorV, light side, the Ebon Hawk will be flying though some asteroids or the cut scene of it flying through the storm of MalachorV which are already in kotor2.
The intro fly scene for MalachorV, dark side, will be the same as in kotor2 when the Exile goes to the planet.

Malachor V will be small but the purpose of the planet is important to the story.
Things you will see on MalachorV will be force beasts,.. Disciples of Kreia,… the Spirit of Kreia herself….and …..

Party Members part3

Kelborn
Male/ species- Mandalorian
He was seen in kotor2. The character will be on a secret mission for Mandalore. You will find Kelborn on Rattatak. Kelborn will confront you after your second battle in the Cauldron/ battle arena. He will later tell you that Mandalore is rebuilding the clans as well as their military strength these past 7-10 years. You will come across some old war machines on Duro.

HK-47 (droid)
a.k.a. HI-52
HK-47 will be found on the Hutt’s space station. He has been sent out by his master Revan to keep tabs on the criminal organizations. You will need HK-47 in order to read and understand your Master’s journal. HK-47 will help you in finding your former Master’s contact. The droid will be its normal violent self. HK-47 will have a different name when you meet him. This alias allows him to infiltrate the Hutts and the Exchange. He will have a new skin body.

Uldir Tanik
Corellian military
Male/ species- Human
Uldir will be told to be the Jedi’s guides while on Corellia. Uldir will aid you on your mission and he will be present when the PC has a lightsaber duel with the Dark Jedi. Uldir is part of the military on Corellia. He is a low level officer. He lives and works in Kor Vella and he is very loyal to his world. His loyalty comes from three generations serving in the Corellian military.

Dagos Nimablu
(Male) species- Arkanians
Lost Jedi
or
Aria Feara
(Female) species- Mirialan
Lost Jedi
The character will be a lost Jedi who is still in Exile. No matter which one you end up with they will help complete your training to become a Jedi. They will tell you why the Jedi went into Exile. You meet the lost Jedi on Duro. The lost Jedi lost a padawan during the purge. To remind himself/herself of the power of the Sith, the lost Jedi still carries his/her padawan’s lightsaber.
The gender of the PC will determine which Lost Jedi you will meet.



Major Characters part1

Cassus Fett-
Bounty hunter
If you select the Exile as light side then you will have Cassus Fett show up in the game as a bounty hunter. He will hunt you down. If Kelborn is in your party when Cassus attacks you, then after the fight you can spare his life and have him rejoin the rest of the Mandalorians on Duxn.

Sith Lord’s twin Apprentices-
Male and Female/ species-Lethan (red) Twi'leks with Sith tattoos
The Sith Lord finds these twins Twi’leks about 6 years ago. The Sith Lord recognizes that the two were strong in the force. He takes them on as his apprentices. After six years of training, the twins become very strong in the dark side of the Force. They are used by the Sith Lord to visit worlds and help corrupt them in the beliefs of the Sith. The twins are very powerful when fighting together.

As a 3D-Modeller i offer my humble skills for use on this project.(a big number of saber hilts already done and awaits implemention in a SW game).

Title Crawl:
A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...
It's been eight years since the battle for Telos IV. The Republic is troubled by conflicts between systems, many Republic systems want their own individual power over it's worlds. The Lost Jedi have emerged to rebuild the Jedi Order. The Jedi sense however that with the move to shifting ruling powers to individual systems, may cause the Republic to weaken its ability to defend the galaxy. In the shadows of the galaxy there have been stories of another threat is rising...

The Story:
-Fade Out from the title crawl. Fade Back in player will see a space station above a planet. Player will then see another vessel exit from a cloaked position and fire upon the station. Fade Out from the space station. Fade back into the space station command center. A soldier will be looking at a near by council, and another man will be walking up behind him.-

Corellian Soldier:
Sir! Our sensors are picking something up in the distance. It's unidentified Sir, and we are not sure what to make of it.

Corellian Commander:
Can you get a closer view of it? I want to find out what it is before..

-The commander is interrupted by several shots from the unidentified vessel. Fade out from the command station under attack. Fade back in from the unidentified vessel still firing upon the space station. Fade from the space station losing orbit over Corellia, fade to black. Fade back in with a view of space then show some space ships flying over the camera to Coruscant. Fade out from the ships entering Coruscant's orbit. Fade into the Jedi Temple showing a Jedi Master talking to his Padawan.-

Jedi Master Quan Drayen:
I am very pleased at how well you are advancing threw your training young padawan. It is possible that depending on how well your next mission goes, you will attain the rank of Jedi Knight.

-Show PC defending off small remote droids, there will be 2 remote droids-

PC:
1.Thank you, master.
2.You do me to much honor, master. It's your training however that has allowed me to advance as far as I have.
3.Good, I have been patient far to long. The council is to slow master. I should have been a Jedi long ago.

Master Drayen:

I'm merely a teacher. It's your will to help the galaxy and defend it from the Dark Side that has allowed you to advance as well as you have. But remember the Dark Side is always tempting during times of great stress such as battle young padawan. Always keep in mind of the right things to do.

You should not say such things. Such thoughts lead to the Dark Side, and that is a Path few turn from. The Dark Side is always tempting, especially when battle is upon you. Remember to never let your emotions cloud your judgment of the situation. Think clearly and calmly.

Now the Jedi Order has come across many knights. Though only two are of interest to me right now. The Jedi Exile and Revan. I'd like to from your studies as to what you have learned about them. So please what can you tell me about them?

Bastila Shan
Jedi Master
Bastila will be part of the new Jedi Council on Coruscant.
While the dark side Bastila is searching for Revan she comes across her old master. Bastila will find redemption in the outer rim worlds by her former Jedi master. She still has love for Revan if Revan is male. She then returns to the Jedi Order along with her old master after the events of Telos IV.
The light side Bastila will gather the Lost Jedi after the battle of Telos IV. She will help rebuild the Jedi Order.

Carth Onasi
Republic Admiral
Carth is only in the game if Revan is light side. If Revan is light side female, Revan will mention about a Republic officer who help saved her from the dark side. Revan and Carth’s love story will be concluded in the game.

Title Crawl:
A Long time ago, in a galaxy far far away....
It is a time of restlessness for the galaxy. With the Jedi Purge finally at an end the Jedi struggle to rebuild their damaged ranks and influence. The Jedi sense that the republic will face one if it's greatest threat ever. With planets wanting to become more self governing to protect their own worlds, the Jedi fear that if the planets to become more self governing then the Republic will be weakened and easily taken over in it's current state. In the distant shadows of the galaxy lies a threat ready to strike....

The Story:

-Pan down from the title craw to a space station orbiting a planet. The planet will be Corellia. A space ship will come out from a cloaked position and fire upon the space station. Fade out from the uncloaked vessel firing upon the space station. Fade in to the interior of the space station, where the player will see several computer stations and NPC's working at those stations. Focus on a computer council with two officers in the midst of a conversation.-

Corellian Officer:
I don't know Sir! It just came out of no where.

Corellian Commander:
Get a lock on it and stay with it. Make sure it doesn't...

-Corellian Commander will be interrupted by several blasts from the Unknown Ship. Fade out from the computer councils exploding. Fade back in with blasts coming from the Space Station. Player will watch the Space Station fall into the below planet's orbit and the Unknown ship returning to a cloaked position, camera will fade out after the ship has vanished-

-Fade back in to a Jedi Padawan practicing with sensor droids. A Jedi Master will walk up near the Jedi Padawan. A conversation between the two will start.-

Jedi Master Quan Drayen:
You are advancing well young padawan. I have a feeling that soon the Jedi Consul will promote you to the status of Jedi Knight. Keep in mind however that the force is always in motion, always designing a new destiny. A new fate.

Player Character:
1.Thank you, master.
2.It is thanks to you and your training master that has allowed me to become a good student.
3.Good, I have been patient for to long with the counsel. I should have already been made a Knight master. They are to slow.

Master Drayen:
(In response to the Second Option)
There is no need to humble me. Your desire to that which is good and helpful towards others is the reason why you have advance so well. But keep in mind that at times a choice to help another, may harm many more. Every action will have a result, bad, good, or even both. Think wisely on your choices.

Hey everyone, :)

I have been sick the past few days with the Flu, but...
I want you all to know that the project is going well.

The issue of this post will be the romance factor in the game.
I know kotor1 had a stronger love story then kotor2.
Some people prefer a strong love story with in the game while others prefer a vaguer one.

I have decided that the romance thread will be an optional quest.
This means that if you do not take the love side quest then the game will have romance story close to kotor2. If you decided to take the love side quest it will be closer to kotor1’s.

The mission for the romance side quest will open up when you have gained enough influence with your love interest through conversational threads.

I just want to give you a progress report on the MOD.

The Plot is done. 100%

The Dialogue is about 10% written.

I have started to create some quick story boards for cut scenes.

Character artwork is 60% done.

Weapons have already been started.

Map/planet layout is 60% done.

Im ashamed to say that when i first saw this i thought it was a whole lot of....... hot wind, but now i see how serious this is and im now so very excited and, thats a rarety for me when it comes Kotor tsl, any way im loving what im hearing of this and i wish you and the team all the best in this project. :)

What would I like to see...Hmmm...well....Revan most of all, and maybe party member apperances: Carth, Basty, Atton, and Mandalore. I see you have the best (hk-47) there already.

how about another smart mouthed droid to butt heads with HK?

why not have recan create a companion for hk 47 a new model that has 47 personality with some enhancements that make it compliment hk 47 so they cover for each other basicaklly hk47 weakness is new droid strength and opposite with hk47!!

Hey Everyone!

The team and I would like to thank you all for your support.

On to your questions......

First off...Revan will play a major role in the game. You will be able to decide Revan's Alignment and Gender. I can’t get into the details since it would give away certain parts of the plot. Revan will return.

Bastila, Atton, Carth, and Mandalore will all make appearances in the game, but the ending to kotor1 and kotor2 will dictate how you meet them if you do at all.

There will be a new droid which will be a party member. The Droid will have arguments with HK-47 on many issues. We are looking at 2 different models to use. In a future post you will get to see what the droid will look like.

The Bounty Hunter contest winner will be announced Monday the 17th.

I will be making some updates on the website this weekend...

First...I want to tell you about another place you will visit in the MOD......

You all remember Vogga the Hutt..from Nar Shaddaa.
After the end of GOTO... and the money from sending Fuel to Telos....Vogga became very wealthy and powerful.....The Hutts start to push back the Exchange.....just as Kreia predicted......the struggle starts betweeen these two criminal bodies.....

Vogga the Hutt’s Cruiser
• Meet Vogga the Hutt
• Fix the Sister Hawk
• Findout about the growing tension between the Exchange and the Hutts after Goto was killed on Narshadda
• Meet a group of Exchange members who are plotting to take the ship over. You can choose sides.
• You meet an angry supplier who Kaila worked for right before she and Nindo was arrested for smuggling weapons.
• Meet XI-52, aka HK-47
• You need a droid who could translate the Ancient Book and the symbols.
• The Exchange attack the Hutts, you will influence who wins the battle.
• After the battle, XI-52 will join your party and give you three leads to solving the symbols.
• You can go to Corellia, Coruscant, and Malachor V

Things you can do.....

You will be able to bet on swoop races...

Take on Bounty Hunter missions.....

SInce Rhen Var is in the game, is there any chance that the spirit of Ulic Qel-Droma will make an appearance?

Woaahhh! This will be up there with Brotherhood of Shadow and TSLRP if it's finished!

This poll was on your site but I'd also like to mention it here: I would really like to encourage you to use voice acting, where possible (in other words, with characters who don't already have a voice over in KOTOR 2). I'm just speaking as a random player with minimal modding experience, but conversations that are silent just lose a whole level of depth and interest.

Hey Everyone!

I want to first thank everyone for their support! Thank you :)

I know the topic of voice-overs being part of the project has been brought up....its a topic which I have been tossing around.....I can not promise you that there will be voice-overs for all human characters, but as the project gets further down the road I will start some testing with the idea of getting voice-overs for the major characters in the game. I have a friend who does youtube videos and I want to see what kind of voices we can create.....

BigMike322, I can not confirm nor deny that the spirit of Ulic Qel-Droma will be in the game. I can tell you there will be a few Force Spirits ;)

The re-skinning of party and major characters has begun........

I hope to have screen images sometime this coming weekend......and....I might release the new skins version 1.0 for download.
These will not be the final skins but a taste of what is to come :D

to tell the truth, I am still a little skeptical about this project.

That is not to say I don't support it.

I know you guys probably have a lot of ideas about stuff you want to do, but if I may offer a suggestion as to the content of the mod... would you guys consider adding in content that explains what happened to the K1 party members if Revan was lightside?

When this gets done, I'm gonna buy TSL just so I can play it! Hey, maybe I can get TSL soon and help you guys out with new modules once Sleheyron's finished.

I swear to God (For a guy that doesn't believe in him, I'm not kidding) I'm gonna freakin' bounce off the walls when this comes out!

P.S. Hopefully I'll have a padded room in an Insane Asylum when that happens. And a straitjacket.
