There hasn't been any official conformations from Lucasarts yet but we're all assuming that there is going to be one from the ending of the first game.
You could have posted this on the other sequel thread we've got going on here, so next take a look around before you post a thread.
My guess now would be "unfortunately not likely in the near future"
