Nah, that takes place a bit later...but as another X-Wing squadron hero, that'd be awesome! In fact, lets just see Rogue Squadron!
Due to the time period of the game, you aren't going to see any prequel trilogy heroes that weren't alive in the original trilogy. There are a few listed above that will make it into the expansion as playable heroes, and a few that will at least make cameos in the story campaign. Of course, I can't yet tell you which ones... :D

Anyway, Wedge Antilles as the leader of Rogue Squadron is a great idea. I do hope Kyle Katarn is in there (he's in the original, he has to be in the expansion). I guess Thrawn would be sweet too :) He can be like Piett, just more awesome.

What kind of special ability would Wedge have? Perhaps some sort of "luck" that makes him extremely hard to finish off, since he is the only pilot to survive the 3 major movie battles.

I can't quite remember where I said it, or maybe I didn't, but if they included Thrawn he'd have to be a super weapon. Nobody could stop that guy!
I'm pretty sure that we'll be seeing Leia and Lando in there. Xizor will almost certainly make it in there too, at least in the Underworld single-player campaign.

"Lady of the Sith" is not nightsister, though she uses a lightwhip... I would love to see her as part of the rogue squadron.

I'm pretty sure I heard one of the devs refer to Silri as a Nightsister in one of the videos...
I wish you can actually use those minor hero smugglers and bountyhunters in combat though.
I like the choice of heros thusfar... but if you have DSII --- you MUST have Lando with Wedge as a wingman. :D And how about Leia as a nifty espionage unit.
I know what A nightsister is I just though it made sense because Brie was part of alot of non Empire Guilds.

I think alot of the bouty hunters will now be playable heros for teh new faction....such as Bossk.
