Once the real game comes out and you're playing over the internet, would your mods work? For example, let's say you skinned your Stormtroppers so that they had different costumes, would the person you're playing see them? I realize you might not know, but if you have any idea tell me.

They have a file detection system that keeps people with different files from playing.
The realy question is whether you can play with the SAME modded files...

So if you download mods you can't play over the internet?

No, if you are using a mod you will probably be only able to play with someone else if they are using that mod. Maybe you won't be able to play at all. You definately won't be able to play if one person has a mod and another doesn't, unless they have some type of p2p dling system (like b.net maps).
