The Prestige Item Pack: co-created by RedHawke & maverick187
-----------------------------------------------
Update: Version 1.1 Released, using stoffe -mkb-'s TSL Patcher Program.

Get the Prestiege Class Robe & Saber Pack right here at my site. :emperor: (http://www.citlink.net/~redhawke/)

-----------------------------------------------
Introduction:
-----------------------------------------------
Greetings... The Prestige Item Pack, is an item pack that includes many new items designed specifically for the PC once he/she reaches the desired Prestige Class. The intent of this mod's creation was to add something into the game that was lacking, i.e. items specifically designed for the Prestige Classes. Enjoy the mod.
-----------------------------------------------
Features:
-----------------------------------------------
This mod was created to have as many features as possible to allow you, the user, a wide variety of choices as to what you may want to incorporate into your game and what you choose to leave out either by default or by choice, you'll see where this comes in when you read In-Game Placement. Now on to the features.

--> 18 different sabers, each with a custom blade and hilt texture.
-> There are 3 sabers for each of the 6 Prestige Classes, 1 short, 1 regular, 1 double
-> *note* the Jedi Weapons Master and Sith Marauder have a regular size saber acting as the short saber, and the longer Malak model saber in place of the regular saber
-> Each of the 6 classes sabers have stats designed for that specific class

--> For those who prefer the standard game textures, a folder with files to make the sabers appear as the stadard game sabers has been included.

--> 6 different lightsaber power crystals, 1 for each Prestige Class

--> 6 new lightsaber upgrades, 2 power cells, 2 emitters, and 2 lens'

--> 9 New Robes and Armored Robes, One for each Prestiege Class, and 3 Bonus Robes
-----------------------------------------------
Installation:
-----------------------------------------------
First, if you have not already done so, create a folder called "Override", without the quotes, in your KOTOR2 directory.

Extract the contents of the zip to a temporary folder, run the Patcher EXE follow the instructions, and you should be good to go.

Using the TSL Patcher this mod now will modify itemcreate.2da, and itemcreatemira.2da, upcrystals.2da, and upgrade.2da.

If you want your sabers to have the regualr game blade textures, just install the files in the "Saber Game Textures" folder.
----------------------------------------------
In-Game Placement:
-----------------------------------------------
When you attain your chosen prestiege class in the game, you will recieve your Prestiege Class Robe, the bonus Sith or Jedi Robe, the Double Saber of your chosen Prestiege Class, the Short Saber of your chosen Prestiege Class, and two Standard Lightsabers of your chosen Prestiege Class, plus 3 additional color crystals and 3 power crystals of your chosen Prestiege Class.

The saber upgrades and one of the Robes are buildable at the workbench after a certain point in the game.

----------------------------------------------
Cheat codes are in the readme file if you can't wait until then. ;)

Also this mod also completely replaces the Male Jal Shey style Armored Robes with the Darth Bandon style Robes... Textures have been provided for the 5 normal Jal Shey/Zeison Sha Robes in the game, following the green and blue themes they had going, as well as a nice Crimson one for when you put on Malak's Robe.

Enjoy! :D

EDIT: I have released textures that are compatable with svцsh's Robe collar fix. For the Jedi Master and Sith Lord Robes.

Available Here. :emperor: (http://www.citlink.net/~redhawke/)

My thoughts Exactly... I disliked the Male Jal Shey style armors... on the Females it looks OK but on the guys, forgetaboutit!

All that and no appearance.2da hassles too! :D

This rocks. I really like this. Thanks!!

The robes look good, actually they were robes I was recently looking for at pcgame.mods but I couldnt find them. Actually the goofy thing is I always wanted them.

Now to have them with the lightsabre hilts and colors with class benefits in such a easy install -->actually incorporated into the game as a reward is beautiful.

Speechless really, the simplicity of design incorporating function with purpose is very artistic to me.

To me this is a homerun. Thanks RedHawke & maverick187.

I just went back and read the development of the mod in the original thread.

I get the feeling alot of thought went into the hilts and color and robes. I want to start a new game just to get my Sith Maurader robe and class lightsabre.

Some people are going to want it all and mix and match but I like the idea at this time it appears to be restricted and incorporated into the game by class.

It gives another reason to replay the game with a different character class.

Holy Hell guys, awesome job!

Much replayability with this mod as lilric27 stated. In fact I 100% agree with everything he/she said...

I know how much pain just doing the saber hilts can be but to add robes and other goodies, scripting plus making it compatible makes this mod even more of a must download...

Fantastic work guys

So... how are you going to top this one? heheh

Guys the mod rocks. I"m using it now on one of the other computers to my right upgrading my new lightsaber as I type this. I admire those with the patience to make all the files. I thoroughly enjoy making "skins" in KOTOR II as you can see from my MOD sight..LOL I didn't find it easy to set down and learn the programs required to mod kotor with new items so I just re-skin em' for the most part. The graphic editing is childs play but the programs to make em' an individual item still eludes me.

So in that mind set this mod is awesome. Very well done and way to go guys...If you ever need any help with the graphics let me know. I'll be more than happy to help and I do it.

:) :) :) very well done :) :) :)

Great work on this one. I was just thinking about how I'd like to see if I could bring in Sith Commander type armor appearances for both Kotor games, and saw a version of it in RedHawke's Kotor1 Make Candi a Jedi, then I saw this one for TSL. I'm very grateful :)

Why Jedi feel they have to go into combat wearing bathrobes over sweatsuits, I have no idea. At least my Jedi now can go out wearing something other than heavy armor (for appearance).

You shouldn't feel bad. Redhawke and Mav both have at least a years worth of experience modding KOTOR. Which means they too had there failures at one time.

Great work! I much prefer the Bandon model for the Jal Shey as opposed to the in-game model. What the heck were the stomach tubes for anyway?

I do have one conceptual question. The Bandon armor seems more suited to dark siders with its hunched shoulders, grasping hands, and mobility impairing neck crest. To me it seems light siders would gravitate towards a less cumbersome form of protection similar to the leather armor of Jolee Bindo’s clothes model. I saw on pcgamemods that you did some Jolee reskins awhile back. Is there any way to transfer those into this mod or make them a new version of the Jal Shey armor?

This would be impossible as there is no way to differentiate LS from DS models in the game, you see in KOTOR and TSL when you put on clothes, robes, or armor in the game it is actually changing your whole body to a new model, Jolee's Clothes model is far different than Bandons Armor so there is no way to tell the game which one to use, if you look closely DS items are the same model as LS ones because all they do is use different textures over the same body model... and I used Bandons Model because;

A.) Bandon's Model was readily available in the game files...
B.) Bandon's Armor is a highly requested mod, and it fit as a replacement for Jal Shey Armor.
C.) I could do this without an appearance.2da edit... this is the most important factor.

But take heart, if I see Jolee's clothes model in the game files I will certainly do something with them... :)

^^^

To Remove the gloves you would need to create a texture file for all of the PC and NPC skin tones, which would vastly increase the size of the mod and is quite unneccassary if you ask me.

That is true, but in order for this to work right you would have to make several new robes pointing to different textures for different skin colors. So you would have to have make 4 of the same robe to cover the 4 different skin colors, not to mention darkside transitions.

They seem a bit overpowered because they were designed to go along with the Hardcore Mod created by beancounter, which makes the game harder, thusly you need better weapons ;)

A question on the fantastic MOD guys??? Is there any way to get rid of the annoying "dancing Bandon scenario" when standing still for extended periods of time? I don't mind it but I've noticed it's in ALL used of that body. Just curious :) And Hardcore + This MOD makes the game anew.

Sorry Bobo, while I agree that the gloves stink, I just don't see this happening.

Nope, that is the body models animations, and is nothing that can be altered, at least by me. ;) I find it entertaining myself. :D

:eyeraise: Uh... No way... I don't cater to the idea of any type of PC being able to...

(AD&D Example) "Walk out of their Enchanted Indestructible Castle with it's +20 Walls, wearing their +20 Enchanted Artifact Armor of Ultimate Power, and wielding their +20 Artifact Sword of Discusting Power, wearing their Artifact Belt of Holding and their Artifact Pouch of Whateveryouneedatthetime, along with their Artifact Boots of Power..." ad nauseum.

Sorry jedigoku, but adding anything over a +10 bonus on an item is something I won't likely do in TSL. Because unlike in KOTOR I, in TSL we can go to level 50 and have Prestiege Classes...

Of course this doesn't stop you from doing so on your end! :D
