I am fairly new around here as well, but I believe I saw some posts with a couple folks that may be able to help, try using the 'search' tool at the top of the page (in the row of tools/features just above the Star Wars Knights header), and do a search for :

- Joris1 - I believe Joris1 may know more, also try:

- stoffe-mkb- : stoffe is located in Europe, speaks English better than most Americans, knows ALOT about MODs and MODding, and is VERY helpful- stoffe is probably your best bet!

Also, I am sure one of the ultra - cool modERATORS can help, but while you're waiting for one of them to reply, search stoffe and Joris1's archived posts, as I am fairly certain this has been discussed by them before!

I'm new to TSL but really love it :) and was wondering if anyone knows of a mod that allows your character to walk instead of running all the time. Thanks . . . :)

The default key for the run/walk command in the game is "B", but when you use it you have to hold it and press whatever keys you use to move around, and as far as a mod goes I don't think they have that one yet, but it would be a nice thing to have.

P.S.:That key is the default unless you have changed it!

Hey, I don't post alot here, but i thought someone might know where to get the mod that allows both light and dark force powers to be used by either alignment with no penalty. I got it from PCGameMods before, but that down recently. Can anyone give me a link to it, or send me the file.

I can't say. It could be a week, or it could be forever. It would be best to assume that it will be the later, though, and look for alternate means to find mods.

I've been trying to find a mod that was at least loosely based on the D20 system, according to the author, that altered the featgain.2da and forcepowergain.2da files, which made the different Jedi classes much more unique from each other. I can't seem to find it anywhere else, I know it was up at pcgamemods. Trying to get my game back to what it was before my hd crash. Just curious if anyone else has seen it or has it up someplace else. I did find one mod, but it's only for force powers.

If you mean Paragon's d20 Adaptation mod you should be able to download it from here (http://ds1.pcgamemods.com/core/12715/Paragon_D20_Adaptation_Mod.zip). No idea if that's the most current version though.

I have been looking into creating my own website, which would basically be a mod website for KOTOR (to replace pcgamemods). I have found this; http://www.0moola.com/index.php) (scroll down) which looks like a pretty good deal, however I may well just pay for my own website as dont like the limmited ammount of bandwidth. Anyways I was just wondering what people would think of this? I would probably arrange it so people can upload there own mods onto the site database. Would mod creators be willing to do this? As i wont upload any mods I have as i dont have the relevant permissions from the creators to do such a thing. What do people think?

If anyone is curious about the Pc Game Mod website, there seems to be a problem with the server. I know it is on their end, and not on ours. I just had a good friend of mine confirm that. If anyone knows the author of the website, please let them know what is going on, and thank you.

Edit: Thanks RH for that. I ksee that we can access the files themselves, in another thread. I also think it would be good to perhaps copy the links to something like a yahoo or google group, where they can be updated everyday.

EDIT: Also note I did not say anything about the files, just links to files at the website that is no longer working, regularly.

Mods can still be found at pcgm, despite the site's problems so the link stays there for the time being (look at the mod request forum: links can still be retrieved).

As for what happens to the PCGM site, LucasForums has no link whatsoever with PCGM. (and personally I couldn't care less if my mods or I are forgotten :p I did this for fun and that was my only goal. I uploaded the ones I wanted to keep at LucasFiles)

I just got a PM that the link to Talchia's mods is not working anymore. It seems that after merging (or moving) sternenschmiede.de with the KotOR section of rpguides.de the mods section was dropped. However, I could find Talchia's mods here (http://www.download.com/Talchia/3260-20_4-6252706.html), in case someone else is looking for them.

Glad to see I'm not the only one having problems with PCgamemods.com. It's funny, the site seems to ALWAYS be down. I've been linked there for other games, and have yet to successfully visit the site.
