[ensign to Cmdr. Horn] sir we're recieving sensor data from our assault force on the edge or the superweapons base system, telemetry is of poor quality but I believe I can recover it...

Thanks to my Cruisers that were sent toward the weapon, may they rest in peace, we now have an Idea of its capabilities, shortly before we lost contact with the ship they report structural failures and hull breaches with no apparent cause, I believe that one of the weapons defesive capabilities, allows it to tear ships apart. this is unfortuantley all the information we could recover...did your forces have more luck trael
The automatic data transmissions sent from my fighters were garbled, but from what intel could decipher, the fighters experienced sudden extreme hull stress, without breaches, before suddenly stopping data feeds altogether. The pilots saw something incredible just before dying, judging from radio transmissions. Interspatial phenomena seems to be recorded in some way in the garbled sensor readings. Something very strange, to say the least, happened to them.

Whatever this thing is, it stretched and seemingly ripped up my fighter's quantum armor, something not physically possible due to the armor's nature. I think we might be facing something here beyond our comprehension.

hmmmm. unconventional weapon. I could try to fire up the planetary repulsor on centerpoint and blow that place to hell. it'd be risky. but it just might work. We would need some more accurate info or we could miss the entire system and end up blowing up one of our oon bases. and if that doesn't work maybe our latest technology can't destroy it but maybe our oldest can.
