Okay, now before anyone says...(TK)... I just want to say, this MIGHT have been done before, but I actually want to know this for my own interest, and I thought it was fascinating. I have seen it in another post whereI said how I did it, and someone else said how they did it. I just wondered...

No, mousewheel for push\pull is much better.

I know you are new here, but the rest of us have been playing for almost 10 months. Instead of making new threads to discuss topics that have already been covered, try searching or browsing the forum first and you'll find that most of your questions have already been asked and answered:

That's really cool! That's such a good idea that, with the push and pull like that.

I also want to say, thanks for understanding. I do have trouble searching, not because I cannot be bothered but I can't concentrate on answers from different questions. I do try, I'm sorry that it's annoying.

Of course, that's a matter of opinion.

I can only concentrate on oen force at a time, I guess that this is a weakness. I always have it on force pull or force grip or something and then kill using it.

I'm actually going to thank whomever gave me the idea for force push/pull on the mouse scroll. I think it was Amadila. It's really useful! I mean, when people grip ya, u can just do it straight away!

It rocks! For all those that have not tried it for multiplayer, try it!

since when do you reload weapons in the game?

That's such a weird, but practical way of controlling. I tried doing it, but it's quite hard to get used to. I like the gif.

Yeah, I never reload either, sabers all the way! Unless I can't use them, or prefer not to. So... Sabers when I want to/can use them!

Great response guys, keep it coming...

the reload is a feature that u need in Moviebatlles mod

at one time i could use wasd but not after playing tribes for years. (for those of you who don't know, in tribes and tribes2 the default controls are ESDF)

heh I know it's hard to break a setup once you get used to it.

One of the things I hear the most about my setup is:
"You don't use mouse2 for alt fire? mouse2 is your forward? wtf?!

But most really "old school" gamers who have played first person shooters since the early days know where the "mouse2 = forward" comes from.

Back then, in games like doom/quake there was no such thing as "alt fire" and the default key for forward was always mouse2.

I got used to it so long ago, I just never bothered to try forward movement on a keyboard.

The back movement on my mouse seemed logical to me as well (by the time I ditched the joystick for a mouse/keyboard combo, multiple button mice were pretty common).

i used to play with it, but since alt-fire came along i ditched it.

Tribes is also a pretty good game. I mean, I haven't tried the first one, but the second one's good. I have never played with the mouse going forward, I've grown up to things like Doom, Quake, Timesplitters to name a few games. So I use WASDA and the Timesplitters had the alt-fire, so that's why I mentioned that.

 Just ya friendly neighbourhood Spiderman...
