Actually - if it's a LAN server I'd leave the max/min ping cvars at zero anyway... I mean - if yer gonna host a LAN game there is no sense in denying access per ping (If anyone on the LAN has 500+ ping I'd say there would be something MAJORLY wrong a...  [Read More]

Anyone got a clue as to what this cvar does? g_jediVmerc I never noticed it before the 1.03 Server/Client came out... It shows up in the in game browser as a variable on the "Show Info" tab about servers. I toggled it on for a while on...  [Read More]

I noticed when I fired up my 1.03 dedicated it said "Error Resolving blahblah" I.E. the Master Server at Ravensoft - so maybe the server is down?...  [Read More]

I think the client will write any varibles you "expressly" set from the console to your config on it's own when the game is exited normally... This is how you can change your name in the console - quit the game - and then return with the n...  [Read More]
