Done it. It took a bit longer than expected because I did it properly rather than make a quick brute force dumper. It parses the .awb file and then dumps the music from the .aws file, its all automatic - just point it to launcher.pak and it'll take c...  [Read More]

A crc error usually means that there's a scratch on the disk - essentially it means that windows cant read that part of the disk. Solutions usually involve trying in a different cd/dvd drive as some are better at reading errors than others, or trying...  [Read More]

There are only (to my knowledge) two versions of Grim. The original and the reissued one that comes with the patch pre-installed. When it loads the launcher checks GrimFandango.exe and tries to read its version. When patched, the Grim version is 1....  [Read More]

As far as I know there wasn't a patch and all releases of CMI (except for different language versions) are the same. Regardless of which version you get, you'll be far better off playing it through ScummVM so just go for the cheapest....  [Read More]
