Well, haven't seen your reply, so I assume you must have gotten in ok? I gave up trying. I have hundreds of highly significant impositions on my time that bear greatly on my real life - not the status of your servers. I can't ping it constantly to se...  [Read More]
No, running a server is easy after a time. I was just explaining in case you didn't understand. Apparently you know everything about it, so you know why a server can go down! I'm just puzzled why you seemingly got so pissed off above. I mean what d...  [Read More]
You try running a server 24/7 for months and months like we do. But of all the complaints we've ever recieved, this has go to be the most ridiculous. We're "wannabes" because the server wasn't up when you tried to join? I do run servers (th...  [Read More]
Oh, that's cool. Get all pissy about how I'm not being fair to you, but the MeatGrinder server at 67.15.13.128:29x70 isn't available. That must be nice. You get to be all about you, and nobody can do anything about it. Fine. A bunch of lackluster wan...  [Read More]
Aww, you might like Meatgrinder. It's cutthroat competition but also laid back fun. Seriously, Kron and the rest of us give each other crap, but ultimately we keep playing, and the server prospers. We're one of the few popular dedicated servers that...  [Read More]
I'm guessing you're confusing SP and MP. There is no saberrealisticdamage cvar. If you mean Saberrealistic combat, that doesn't even work in JA, that's a JK2 command. And SaberMORErealistic, the JA command only works in single player. You would be...  [Read More]
I've been under the impression for a long time that saber damage cvars have no effect on Saber Throw. Is this not so? With saberrealisticdamage set to 10, my saber throws frequently cut opponents into three or four pieces at the higher levels....  [Read More]
I found during Jedi Outcast that the more spectacular moves require some pretty specific timing, and the best place to try it is in the multiplayer robot mode (with no server) with minimum very weak enemies and an extremely powerful PC. That makes th...  [Read More]

I'm at a loss. I used the +set net_port and set it to a port I know wasn't blocked, nothing. I can't figure out why I can't get a server list to pop up. Sigh. It's not enough to just change to a port that you know isn't blocked. It has to be an open...  [Read More]
or that someone who knows didnt read the thread, and yes i read that thread. it does not help just seems like some people were flaming. thanks. There are no player/enemy models in the single-player game. You have about six races and two sexes to cho...  [Read More]

I was kinda lucky the other time, immedeatly after the cutscene and she pulls out the sith sword, i accidently did a roll stab and instantly killed her. So that means i killed her in 1 accidental hit No harm in that. Most of my strikes don't hit on...  [Read More]

I finally got dismemberment working, and found that Tavion is ferociously difficult in that environment. To beat her with dismemberment working, you have to use Force Speed....  [Read More]

Tavion is not really that tough. A snarky mouth, granted, but after that.. You cannot take her head on in a one-to-one fight. Won't happen. As noted, she resurrects after you defeat her the first time, but only once. The rules are the same as with e...  [Read More]

The truth of the matter is that if you are using targeted weapons, first person view is vastly superior (which you have). When using untargeted weapons, like a light-sabre, third-person is vastly superior. Riceplant, however, gave the cheats required...  [Read More]

It was the "KotoR has too many historical inaccuracies," part, wasn't it? :) Not that - never played KoToR, so I wouldn't know. Just the importance people seem to place on details. I have a friend who ranks games on how good the story is a...  [Read More]

Fair warning, all. For reasons that are not yet obvious to me, sometimes dismemberment seems to NOT work. Normally, a quick-save, quit and restart will remedy this condition. It might also be related to seniority. Maybe dismemberment just doesn't wor...  [Read More]

That was the plan. I'm still waiting to hear from anybody, but the night is young. Hopefully, this gets the monkey off everybody's back. I have noticed, though, that since I've maxed everything out, if some attitudinal pestropka boinkenstrasse golden...  [Read More]

OK, so my time estimates are off a bit. OK, the Process for getting dismemberment to work is as follows (english edition only - other languages may vary): 1) If you have any mods installed, remove them first. Further instructions at the end. If you...  [Read More]

Good. That is useful. That means that if there is a solution, it's going to be up to me to find it, implement it, document it, and provide it. It will probably be about six months coming, but at least now I know where to go from here. It's not the be...  [Read More]

OK, let's get this straight. I think I have the problem here (albeit not the solution - yet). About half of you people are caught in the hell of "I modded this thing to the nth degree already and I don't remember everything I did", and the...  [Read More]
