I want to uninstall The mod Tomb of Jesset Dal-Kest. It created a back up folder when I installed it and I wonder what you're supposed to do with that.

Can you simply delete all of the files in your Override folder that were installed with the mod or did the mod change/replace any files that are important for the game to run properly?

If you created a back up folder, then delete everything in the Override and then just copy and paste from the back-up folder into the override.

The mod created a back up folder called "backup Tomb_of_Jesset_Dal-Kest", I never wanted to back up anything. That back up folder only seems to contain the contents of that single mod, so if I would delete my whole override folder and replace them with the files in the back up folder, I would only be replacing the files for Tomb of Jesset Dal'Kest minus my other mods. That would be like uninstalling the mod, only to reinstall it again. That way I would lose all other mods and keep the mod that I don't want to keep. I don't know too much about this, but that is how I see it.

Perhaps I'm making it making it more difficult than it is (and more of a big deal), but I don't want to f*ck up the game and I know that if you delete/change certain files that will happen.

in the mod file you downloaded is a folder called tslpatchdata....in that folder are all the files for the tomb mod....those are the ones you want to delete from your override and probably modules folder as well.

That is what I have done now, but I was a bit uncertain about deleting the files baseitems.2da, spells.2da and upcrystals.2da (other mods use them I think), so I replaced those files with the ones from the back up folder, hoping everything will work out.

Copy and replace those files in the Override then and then delete them because they'll be highlighted.
