*Alysara looked at her father*
Alysara: I think it's time the treaty signed after the Crimson Star War kicked in, and we help the "Uncorrupted".

*Cracken nodded*

Cracken: To breach Coruscants defenses with out the Crimson Star is a heavy task, and we'll need all the aid we can get.

*He looked at Starr* Find away to contact Flax, and set up a meeting. Rally the fleet on the Outer Rim, near Bastion. Every vessel, no matter how small. If Flax wants to work out a battle plan to retake the Imperial Center under the peace treaty we signed, and "releave" Relentha of her post, he should do it quickly.

*Looks at Irvine* As soon as we have made contact with Flax, and confirmed his attendance to the meetings, jump to Bastion.

Flax: Cracken also has a power outside that of the force, he is infinatly more dangerous than his father, and we want you to find him. Preferably before he finds us.

Sellenna: Cracken has just re-appeared in the galaxy, we had a treaty with him of meutral co-operation. Unfortunatly we don't know which side he's likely to back in this little war of ours. So we need you to find him and either convince him to support us or kill him. Interested?

*Chavo exited hyperspace near Corusant. He checked his fuel, and decided to refuel. He released a probe that searched for any trace of where Cracken may have gone and then landed on Corusant. He refueled, then checked the probes. The traces were faint, only showing that they had gone in the direction toward the outer rim. He headed in its general direction*

((Deac and Battledog, (especially you, BD) please read the discussion thread. Got a Coruscant question, and a separate politics one.

I apologize for the delay in replying, but keep in mind that this post has taken me over two hours to type up, in one sitting. :D

[Granted, I did cut a HUGE section out, pending an answer to my questions in the discussion threads...]))

Imperial Shuttle, Hyperspace

Starr: Immediately, my Master.

*Starr moves to the back of the shuttle and contacts the Imperial fleet, speaking with one of his aides*

Starr: Ansari. *He speaks some words in an ancient Sith tongue as an identification code, then continues* Alert our force that Lord Cracken has returned. Also alert the fleet that every vessel, no matter how small, must head to and assemble in the Bastion system with greatest possible speed. Finally, and this is your first priority, contact Lord Taklin Flax immediately. I wish to speak with him personally, at his earliest possible convenience.

Ansari: Yes, my lord. It shall be done immediately. Also, there is a message for you, from Lord Odin.

Starr: Transfer the message to me. And contact Lord Flax.

Ansari: Immediately, my lord.

*Starr quickly reads it*

Starr: Master, Lord Odin has sent me an invitation asking that I - as they still believe you to be unavailable - and optionally a small delegation meet them at their newly contrstructed Godsheim Station. They say that this station will serve as an embassy between them and the other governments in the galaxy. They would like us to attend a meeting tomorrow if possible. Apparently representatives of the 'true' Republic are already there. What do you think of this?

----------

Underground/Assassins' Lair

*The assassins assemble in the central room of the facility. Saria appears, along with a whole new group of other masked assassins, including Sungchi.

((OOS: This is so anyone who has been reading all the stuff here but hasn't got an assassin character can use a random character to interject here...although, that really just applies to BD and Admiral, come to think of it ;)))

She walks over to Riss and Celeste and sits smiling between them as they wait for everyone to arrive. Aren stands off to the side, with another glass of ale, and still exhibiting no sign of drunkeness*

Riss: If we could begin.

*He walks to activate a holoprojector on the podium in the center of the room. Celeste steps up with him, and Saria follows, somewhat dwarfed by their relative height, especially Celeste's*

Celeste: Greetings, fellow assassins. As we have stated before, there are only a few rules on the guild charter. Do not speak of Aren and the rest of our backers outside here, and do not attack each other on guild premises. Simple rules; follow them and you'll have no problems.

Also note that your membership here, as most of you know but might be unclear to some of our new arrivals, does not preclude you from accepting outside contracts, as long as they do not interfere with guild business.

Now, on to your targets.

*It early the next day, Odin, his children and Idona were eating a light breakfast and talking about what they were going to do that day.

There was a slight knock on the door, Valda enters escorting showing Heimdall and Tyr in. Valda throws a smile at Vidar before exiting*

Odin: when did you get here?

Heimdall: Late last night. Bragi, Idun and the rest of the council should be arrive in a couple of hours.

Odin: Come on Sit down and have some food.

Underground/Assassins' Lair

Celeste: Considering this is the first meeting of our guild, and we are an unknown entity in the galaxy at large so far, our first target list is entirely made up of subjects given to us by our employer, Lily Aren.

*The holoscreen projects a large list of names organized into a set of different tiers. The names are too small to be easily read*

Celeste: On the top tier are highest paying and most dangerous targets, and on the bottom are the least. This list will always be available to you, from any access station in this facility and from your personal communication devices. You will be alerted when the lists change.

You'll notice that some of the names on this list will be designated as "Special". If that is the case, it means that the nature of the target is such that you must make use of our specially provided equipment to eliminate the target, or that the target is exceptionally difficult, or that there are specific details about acquiring. You will be provided specific briefings on these particular targets.

Consider all top-tier targets "Special" targets.

Now, how this will work, and then we will discuss the highest-priority targets.

You will choose a target, any target, as your first target. If you do not choose a target and there are targets avaliable, after a certain amount of time you may be expelled from the guild.

You are free to compete or work together if more than one of you pick the same targets. Your choice. However if you decide to work together both or all of you must alert a guild leader before carrying out the assassination, and you will split the price equally between all involved upon success.

Questions?

Underground/Assassins' Lair

Celeste: Yes, that is all. Our thinking is this: None of us are apprentices, and the purpose of this guild is not to train, or to provide a living for a coalition of mediocre hitmen. We are every one of us the best of the best. We are here to create a force to be reckoned with.

This is our introductory stage. This is how we - as a guild, not as individual members - will gain the attention of the galaxy.

Finally, if you still think this sounds too good to be true, you may be singing to a different tune once you see our targets.

*Celeste presses a button and the list enlarges and become readable.

On the bottom tier are about thirty names of minor crimelords and a few low-level politicians from all the galactic governments, and many little-known names from planetary governments in random locations spanning the entire galaxy. High prices are listed for these names, although they are the lowest prices on the list.

In the middle tier are about twenty better known names of the same categories, but still some unknowns. Even higher prices are listed.

At the top tier there are only a few names, and astronomically high prices are listed.

The top tier list reads:*

1) Taklin Flax
2) Deac Starkiller
3) Irvine Cracken Cracern
4) Dregga the Hutt
5) Termand Se'enth Rwos
6) Polvin Reschol
7) Halren Flax
8) Ellela Starkiller

((OOS: Consider Dregga to be as well known as Jabba was, and Polvin is an up-and-coming crimelord challenging the Hutts. He has Imperial Separatist connections. Both are about as difficult/well-known a target as anyone on that list (with the exception of Ellela who no one here would probably recognize), although unlike the others, both have foiled a great many assassination attempts. Polvin is said to be Force-sensitive, and have been trained by a Sith. This may be only a rumor.

Again, please forgive any mistakes above, as I am posting at 1:30 AM. I really need to quit this. :)))

We intend to make no claim to the former Imperial Center. After the Imperial Separatists and former Republic forces are smashed, the Imperial Fleet will return to our borders, with Bilbringi becoming the new Imperial Center.

Bilbringi and Kuat Drive Yards will be at your service to assist in rebuilding the Republic Fleet after this war is over.

We are heading to Godsheim Station to meet Lord Odin and his Aesir early tomorrow. The Imperial fleet is currently amassing in the Bastion system. Perhaps we can arrange a rendezvous of our parties as your fleets push towards the Inner Rim.

Aren: That's one way of looking at it. However, it is highly unlikely that anyone will be able to "come after" you - or us - upon target elimination. And if they did...well, it would be their funeral. *She smiles*

Celeste: In the briefings you'll find location information, or advice on how to locate the target, where appropriate. Also when appropriate, you'll find our recommendations on target elimination. Understand that killing a Jedi or an extradimensional - or even a crimelord the like of Dregga or Reschol - will be no easy task, but with what this guild provides, it will be by no means impossible.

Riss: Perhapss you could summarize the briefingss here, in casse there are more questionss...

Celeste: Very well.

*She motions to the list of names*

Celeste: Briefly.

Taklin Flax is located on Agamar. He is well protected, and of course a powerful Jedi. Use of guild stealth equipment, special weaponry and other special equipment is highly recommended for this target.

Deac Starkiller's location is unknown, but we expect him to surface again soon. He is rarely well protected, but is a formidable opponent, and able to use the Force. Use of guild special weaponry is recommended. Note that this target has a certain, shall we say, habit of appearing to die, then popping up again in the oddest of places.

Irvine Cracern's location is unknown, but he is also expected to resurface soon. Note that Aren's people already have a separate, unpaid assassin of their own heading for this target, and that he possesses as-yet undocumented supernatural abilities. Use of any special equipment at your disposal is highly recommended if you choose to take this target. Expect anything.

Dregga the Hutt is located on Nar Hutta, in his family palace. The most difficult part of eliminating him will likely be getting to him. Use of guild stealth equipment is recommended.

Termand Rwos' location is unknown, however he can be expected to resurface soon along with Deac Starkiller. He is possessed of minor supernatural abilities outside of the Force and has weaponry easily on caliber with ours. He also has a supernatural ability to automatically regenerate wounds, like that of a Trandoshan's natural regenerative ability but greatly multiplied. Use of guild special equipment and a good dose of creativity is recommended.

Polvin Reschol is located on the Corellia system. Underworld contacts may be necessary to specifically locate him, as he hides himself for protection. Use of guild special weaponry is recommended as he has some ability to use the Force.

Halren Flax and Ellela Starkiller are currently unreachable, but Hal is expected to be on Agamar with his father within the week, and Ellela is expected to return to the company of Deac Starkiller. Both are able to use the Force and can be considered lesser threats than their more well-known relatives, but still considerable challenges. Use of guild special equipment is recommended.

((OOS: For the middle and bottom tiers, you can just make up names that fit within the criteria I posted, if you want your characters to take those. Although they pay much lower. Reason: I am lazy. XD))

I'm beginning to suspect this isn't the real Irvine Cracern. I'm going to challenge his motives in the cargo bay, in front of whatever's left of that Malice woman. If things go badly, this message is for the crew. Kill him, and take the ship to Bilbringi and join with whoever's really in charge of the empire these days. I've heard rumours that Lord Cracken has returned. Try and find him. If nothing else, get off this ship alive and tell something someone that something bad is happening here.

*Stormbaltz closes the computer down, takes a ceremonial sword off of the wall, slings it over his back and heads toward the cargo bay.*

Godsheim Station:

*The Valkyrie looks at Cracken assessing him, then she nods turns and leads Cracken and his party to a turbolift. The Einherjar flank them.

Once everyone is inside the turbolift the doors close and it begins to move. The Valkyrie didn't press any buttons or say anything*

-------------------------------------------------------

*Outside the republic suite Valda presses a button on a wall causing a chime to go off within the suite.*

Greer: I think so. Much of a relief though, I couldn't get any signs from him that he was lying.

((ARGH, post got killed since someone closed the freaking window. :/

BD: This is where you point out that Starr is a master of illusion. :D

JM, Deac: See discussion thread about your assassins.))

Ulna Shardes Space

*Rwos is about to reply when the comm cuts off*

Gilian: That was strange.

Rwos: *looking at his comlink* I'm not entirely sure I'll like what I'm going to hear.

Nereli: *to other Blades* We're finished here. Leave watchers and take us into warp-space.

*Small shimmering round objects are released from a small hatch on the Inquiry's surface. After drifting a few yards away from the ship, they vanish.

Then the Inquiry shoots forward, engines a bright blue glow. Its sleek, black frame twists, distorts and vanishes*

Assassins' Lair, Transport

Riss: Do not asssume that becausse you could not ssee through their masks, they were the barely competent newbiess you thought they were. The masskss were...how did Aren put it...'enchanted'. One trying to disscern the identity of the wearer would find only what they expected to ssee. Celesste, Aren and I hand-picked every one of thosse assassinss. They are the besst and mosst promissing in thiss "bussiness" who would come. Ass for the targetss...you know that I am not normally one to put faith in technology, but the toolss Aren hass given uss are...ssomething elsse entirely. I am confident that ussing them, we could take any target in the galaxy.

*Other, masked assassins enter the transport room*

Riss: I am heading to check construction on another basse ssection Thiss one is on the Vertical City, Nar Sshadda. In fact, the very location where the Karathi Tower oncse sstood. Come with me, we will talk along the way.

*He heads through one of the two active portals, along with other masked assassins. On the other side was a large orbital hangar, with a beautiful view of the planet Tatooine through the 'open' end.

Riss heads for a rather ordinary-looking light freighter in the corner*

Shungchi "For someone like myself, I don't judge by appearences, actions are what I judge. New individuals in our guild, should more likely need to be able to kill a high profile individual and get away with it before going for the ones on top tier. Wouldn't you think?"

*the Assassins walk in, Saabac-man was one of them*

Shungchi "Very well."

*Shungchi follows Riss out.*

Godsheim Station: Throne Room

*The throne room had a large arched ceiling, in the back was a large glass like window with the emblem of Odin being in the center. The window looked upon the firey nebula.

The throne was raised four steps above the court. The Throne itself was wooden with Odin's emblem emblazened on it. It was further decorated by knot work that could be seen around the entire station.

Odin sat in the throne with Frigg to his left. On their right sat Odin's sons and a few of the other members of the ruling council with Vidar being closest to Odin. Their seats were a step down from the throne and a little in forward of it. On the left of the thrones were the remainder of the ruling council. Their seats were like the ones to the right of the throne being a step down etc. The seats were arranged in a concave shape. Odin and the rulling council were all dressed in armor. Blue and silver armor was the most common, with Green and Gold being second. Only Freya wore the red and gold of the Valkyries.

Svafa, Hirst, and Idona also in their red gold armor stood to the right of Odin's throne slightly behind it.

Opposite of the Throne were large arched wooden doors. On Either side of those were turbolifts. Einherjar dressed in their blue silver armor with capes stood at either side of each door totaling eight. They all wore swords at their side.

Both turbo lifts open. Valda leads Hal's party into the court while another Valkyrie leads Cracken and his party into the court. Valda and the Valkyrie walk up to the throne. When they are two meters from it they bow, turn and walk to the back of the room. The Einherjar that had accompanied them also stood at the back.*

*Hal and the Gaurds wear their silver armour over thier green trimmed blue tunnics, Hal's armour is has engraved patterns on the gauntlets and greaves as well as the collar, the patterns are inlayed with gold, his helmet is similar and the last tier of scales on his skirt and sleeves are gold plated. All the armoured men wear blue cloaks but hal's is trimmed in green and he wears his battledog's wolf pelt pushed back off his head, his helmet hangs from his belt on his right. A a bronze hilted Longsword is girt on his left hip. The gaurds carry their axes and they also wear long swords. Hal wears a golden band around his forhead worked into an elaberate brade of metal.

Mirra wears a red silk gown with green embroudery worked on the bodice and skirts, the dress has a high neck and long slevves which hang open, she wears only a light cloak of scarlet. Some of the embroudery is worked in hawks, some wolves and some in braid patterns. Her maids are dressed in similar, if less rich costume.*

*Hal and Mirra approach, flanked by their gaurds. At eight paces Hal bows and Mirra curtsies, the gaurds drop down on their left knees, left hand on sword hilt, right hand on the hafts of their axes.*

*After she has finished her curtsy Mirra speaks* You sent for us, My Lord?

Flax: Starr is a master of illusion and missdirectio, though not as great as my wife was. I believe he is as sincere as is possible for a Sith.

*Time skip one day.*

*Greer, Dasken and the other personnal are being ferried up to Independance II via shuttle. As the two talk the 10km long Supercrusier comes into view.*

((Bad form BD. It is not proper unless you have permision to bring weapons into court especialy not peace bound. Shame on you ;) ))

Godsheim Station

Odin: It is time for you to see this new threat you face. Idona if you please.

*The room darkened a holographic image of a feline beast appeared. The beast resmebled a tiger standing on it's hind legs, it's feet were much like tiger paws as well. It's hands resembled human hands with long fingers. Between the fingers were long sharp claws.*

Idona: These are the Heloki, they come in many varieties very dangerous and love feasting on human flesh. They have attacked and annihilated two small colonies in the past four months.

Here is some old video we have of them. This was taken by them documenting their hunts and kills.

*An image formed of a dense jungle, forcused on a human in jedi robes worn during the Sith War. There was brief movement the man looks one way and a blur crosses the screen. The man falls face towards the camera, slashes across his face.

It then changes to a corridor with a Heloki, this one resembling a leapord walking on all fours on the ceiling. A Lone boy then walks into view obviously scared. When he was underneath, the Heloki drops twist in mid air and jabs it's claws into the bows back. It then bits the nect ripping out teh juglar vien. Blood spewed everywhere. The Video ends.*

Idona: As you can see they are fast, deadly against Jedi or Sith. They can jump long distances and reach heights that are difficult for the most powerful Jedi to reach.

Their claws are extermly sharp cut into durracrete with easy. They use them to walk on walls and cielngs as well as for kills. They eat their prey and seem to prefer humans although they haven't had the chance to sample other races.

Since in the past couple of weeks or so they just attacked and took a colony of 10,000 there is time for you to prepare. They won't be looking for new prey for some time and then it won't be major population centers.

This is one of the evils we long kept contained but now feel your ready to face.

*Idona steps back and the light in the room turn on again*
