Win XP pro. Also on a private network behind router/DHCP. Ive tried disabling most file sharing and other programs running. Since most of you have win2k or xp pro, perhaps its a service running in the background interferring?...  [Read More]

I also had the same problem. I was using the frequently run program link under windows and it was linked to the safe mode which does not retain settings. Make sure the link you are using to start the game does not point to safe mode....  [Read More]
