This should answer all your questions about the Battle of Tanaab (http://home.att.net/~webzone9/starwars/writing/tanaab.html) I think it was actually something about him helping the people of Tanaab (farmers I think) against a gang of pirates (I thi...  [Read More]

I dont know anything about an elite TIE Fighter squadron, but the 181st is an elite TIE Interceptor squadron. A mini-series about that could very easily tie in to Rogue Squadron, and can give the other side of the story. I haven't read the Dark Horse...  [Read More]
Do you mean Lucasfilm? I would have to probably say an elite starfighter squadron, although I think it would make a better mini-series than movie....  [Read More]

According to I, Jedi (implyed at least) it is a force power. However, his armor can deflect lightsaber hits (as seen in ESB), so it is reasonable to assume that it could stop a blaster shot. So to answer your question, I dont really know....  [Read More]

According to JA it is called Protect, but it only reduces the damage. Of course, that is mostly because of the requirements of gameplay. In such novels as I, Jedi and an NJO book (don't remember which one for sure, but I think it was Dark Tide: Ruin)...  [Read More]

According to the EU, some Jedi have the ability to absorb blaster shots. Otherwise, it is pretty much the same as a non-Jedi. The only acception, is a shot that may kill you over time. The Jedi would probably be able to last longer, and have a better...  [Read More]

I didn't say that he didn't think of others. I was just saying that in the EU, he doesn't like to give responsibility to others, even if they are as/more capable then he is, and the same can not be said about Luke in the OT....  [Read More]

I meant seperate eras from a story-telling perspective, not from a political perspective. Most timelines that I have seen (such as theforce.net and Del Rey) consider them to be two different eras. The Sith era is about the Sith War. The prequel era i...  [Read More]

I just meant that according to most sources that I have seen, there is a seperate era for the Sith era, and one for the time period from TPM to just before ANH. And the two are different enough that I think they warrant seperate choices in the poll....  [Read More]
