Everyone who's been following this model with anticipation, please thank Kevin for volunteering his time to get him in game. I'm truly grateful for his help.
Thanks Kevin!
Thanks Kevin! Thanks for helping Kaia get this awesome model in game. :D
Kaia, do you plan on making a saber hilt for Yoda.... one that's overly big so it doesn't shrink down to nothing when scaled to Yoda's proper size?
Great work- cant wait to play it :)
thanks kevin... :D :D :D cant wait for tis model
whats left to do now kaia???
What's left to do now?
Well, after all the rigging adjustments have been made, the next phase is to get the lil fella skinned. I'm hoping Indy (inbredyokel) is still game for tackling the lil bugger! :)
Thanks Kevin :)
Pleaseeeeeee Inbredyokel, please skin Yoda... (just a sec that sounds a little weird!) :yoda:
Hello! I would love to help you skin that great Yoda!!! I find it has great potencial in Jedi Outcast But...It needs to look like Yoda with a great skin--I feel like I could give you a great skin for Yoda because: I know what Yoda should look like(I have almost every Yoda figure old and recent 12inch and 33/4inch) Yoda is my favorite!!! If there is anyway you can send the model to me I would greatly love to help you!!!
I've beta tested many highly anticipated models and mods like FORCEMOD2, Obi, Ben, Watto, Akbar, team Yoda model...I'm sure Kevin C remembers my name--so please if you want a really great Yoda send him my way!!

I say we let Zippo85 go for it if Indy wont do it. Zippo is good
glad to see zippo interested in this model, if he does it i know it will be great
I'm still down for skinning Yoda. Guess you could consider it my "last horrah" for Jedi Outcast. Just send the model my way when it's ready to go.

That's rich coming from you.
Could we please NOT turn this thread into a flame war? I will not hesitate to lock it if it does get to this, and it's a shame, since WIP's deserve credit for the work.
This goes to both of you, please calm down.

no need to get snaky dude, but isnt saying that being a little rude in yourself?

Is that friendly, exactly?
But respecting ASk, I will not persist on this.
Kevin knows my crits on the model, just fix the clipping on the shoulder if possible.
sweet, we might get a few versions of this yoda model skinned to choose from which is just awesome. i love having a choice with my skins.
but too many skins can be bad, you know the ones where they have 5 or 6 icons... coz they take up too much room!!!
well then dont install all of the skins
sweet, i know this model is in good hands with zippo and inbredyokel
Well....here is an idear.....why dont we work together inbredyokel?.....if you are interested mail me...

...oh, and im also on MSN messenger
Thanks for the offer, but on a skin-by-skin basis, I tend to do a much better job if I'm doing the whole deal. I don't think it would hurt to have a couple versions though. It's not like there'd be 5 varients of the model, just 2.
yoda skin by inbredyokel: sweet
yoda skin by zippo: nice
yoda skins from both inbredyokel and zippo: pure awesome :)
You are propalbly right inbredyokel

Maybe you could do a seperate skin with the pack or maybe after it is released?
personally id preffer with the pack :D
Hey, any word on the progress like for the skin? I've been following this model for a bit now, just never said anything because I always get at others for saying excellent work and not really critiquing the work. Just curious to the status and whether its still alive.
So can we assume that the project is either:
a) Dead
or
b) Waiting for Jedi Academy's release
or
c) Some weird option I havent considered :)
:yoda:
I can't guarantee it will be complete before Academy is released, but rest assured it is NOT dead. Don't worry, I'm as eager as anyone to see this model get released.
Thanks for the update kaia. Your model is really cool and I'm glad this one isn't dead.
It may be my fault but whats the thing with the Team Yoda? Is there another model out? Where can I get it? Or is it the AOTCTC yoda?
Too much questions;)
I've probably missed that because Ive been offline for awhile
I'm currently working on Kaia's Yoda, fitting him right to JA skeleton, to achieve the best deformations seen in a Yoda.
I already fit it, but still have a lot of ork to do rigging and UV mapping it.
Kaia will keep you updated.
'Tis good news. More excellent modelers working on this project...the better. Correct? :p
glad to hear that this model is still in the works, thanks for the update
yay! super cool, now we can still look forward to yet another really good yoda model:)
To be honest Iґm very impressed by Kaiaґs modelling skillz. Iґm only lending him a hand.
hehe, well i think its uber awsome that all the modelers show compassion to one another and actually help on others' projects to get them released for the fans:D
Yeah kaia's yoda model is pretty.. impressive lol
..and since Jedi Academy is out and this model is good.
Consider this a well earned bump. :)
*Coughs from all the dust*
Yoda must live!
Is it safe to say this project is not dead?
ANYTHING I CAN DO TO HELP PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!

See if Corto still has it...
Yeah, one of these days I'll pester Corto into finishing the rigging... then it's a matter of pestering the genius minds of Azymn & Wudan to build a custom scaling mod specifically for him.
