"by the way, how much time will we have from when we reach corusant to the meeting?"

"From the Hanger to the entertainment district? About 30 mintues. That is if there is no trouble on the way to the district." Zofire responds.

*Zofire goes on one knee and starts checking up on R9*

"Is there enough time for me to go pick somethings up?"

Zofire responds, "We have to see how far it is from the hanger. What exactly are you going to pick up? By the way, I know the coordinates of that club. No need to ask that scum."

"Well, this bucket has been modified for speed. Nothing else. I don't go in by ship; it's not my thing. We could contact the NRI for some forces. Kyle Katarn and his partner, Jan Ors, owe me a favor or two after rescuing them on Orgos Prime; maybe they can help us..."

Katarn07 goes off to the comm room and sends a message to Mon Mothma. He leaves and returns as he waits for a reply, "OK, we may get some help on this. I am sure Teraytiro will have plenty of guards, more here on the capital than in the slums of Nar Shaddaa, you know?"

Console beeps, Katarn07 checks it, "Jan Ors is able to assist. Looks as if Kyle is recovring from some injuries he sustained while on a mission with Skywalker. She will prove of some use to us in the Raven's Claw..."

Zofire speaks, "Good. I heard about this Jan Ors. Never met her though. Anyways, as soon as we arrive Coruscant, Jokemaster, you pick up your stuff. I am going to get some equipment of mine on Slave 2. It should be on the hanger. After that, lets head to Bantha Oasis. I suggest on this mission, we should go there undetected by Teraytiro forces. We wouldn't want him to flee from the place."

Zofire continues to speak, "When is Jan Ors going to meet up with us?"

"I just gotta cash in a few favors from NRI, three in fact."

Zofire responds, "No problem Jokemaster. While you do that, I'm going to my ship to get equipment."

"She'll escort us down in her ship, the Raven's Claw. After Jokemaster gets his favors, we will switch vessels and Jan will provide cover for us. Her ship is one fast vessel complete with a few concussion missles hidden on it. She'll provide air cover for us, no matter how we decide to attack."

Katarn07 motions them to follow him back to the cockpit, "Well, only a few more hours till we get there. I suggest we all get some rest. We must move with haste once we get to Coruscant... We'll head over to the New Republic district, drop you off Jokemaster, and then we'll pick up Slave II. What favors are you getting, Jokemaster, if you don't mind me asking of course..."

"I've done three reports for free for them, in return for favors. I'm gonna get some heat signals and the like from the meeting place to know how many guys are there, then a reconissance photo from Teraytiro's base. After that I'm gonna check if they have any updates for the blaster-cams"

"Interesting." Zofire says. Zofire continues, "Ok, well I'm going to get some sleep now. Thanks a lot Gunny and Jokemaster for helping me with this whole mission. By the way, where can I rest?" Zofire says.

"I have converted the cargo bay to some sleeping quarters. 2 rooms, on your left past the head if you need to use it. Jokemaster and I can share a room. There are 3 cots in each room, nothing much, but it'll do. I think R9 can tell us when we arrive. I am getting some rest too. I have been on this guys tail for half the week with out a moments sleep..."

Katarn07 retires to his quarters.

*Zofire goes to R9 and kneels on one knee.*

"R9, tell us when we arrive at Coruscant."

*R9 whistles and beeps in response*

As Zofire stands up again, she gently pats R9 on the head to show graditude. Zofire then raises her hand to signal and says to Katarn07 and Jokemaster,"I will see you tomorrow." After that, the door closes as she finishes going into room. R9 then starts to pace the hallway up and down really slowly.

*lays his blaster and camera to be recharged and then heads to the quarters*

As the ship travelled through space, it has finally send it's course to Coruscant.

*R9 starts to beep and whistle*

*Hearing R9 beeping and whistling, Zofire woke up.*

*wakes up when he hears R9 beeping.*
"that was fast"
*gets up, heads to the bathroom and splashes some cold water on his face.*

Zofire, already wide awake, says to Jokemaster, "There is food that I've prepared earlier. We should reach Coruscant in an two hour."

*Zofire starts polishing her armor*

Katarn07 comes put with a rack of guns, "Here, I bring around some of these babies when on missions. Take what you watnt, all I need is a few thremal detonators, my DX-3 Disruptor Rifle, and my E-11."

Katarn07 takes a few peices of bantha meat that Zofire had prepared and eats them, followed by some bread and cheap drink.

"Jan Ors is on an intercept course. She will escort us to the NRI HQ and then we can get to your ship, Zofire."

"Ok." Zofire replied back. "I still have thermal detonators from when we were on Nar Shaddaa. And for guns, I have my modified Tenloss DXR-6 Disruptor rifle. I'm going to get my modified DE-11 that is on my ship and some other weapons as well."

"I'm just gonna pickup the updated blaster-cams, the satelite photos, and maybe some weapons"

While putting on her armor, Zofire speaks to both Jokemaster and Katarn07, "Is the NRI located on Coruscant? The reason why I ask this question is because I am not too familiar with the NRI."

*gives Katarn07 the "is it too classified for her?" look*

"Its in the heart of the New Republic's Capital City... Jan Ors will take us there, though."

Zofire replies, "Interesting."

"remember, this doesn't leave the ship"

"Don't worry. I won't say anything to anyone. I'll probably forget. haha" Zofire laughs.

"Hey, even if you couldn't be trusted, the NRI is as secure as the Imperial City was back when Palpatine was in charge..."

Katarn07 started laughing after saying this, "Hey! Did you know my host fought his way through Imperial City after the Battle of Yavin? He was getting a lead on that Darktrooper project. he survived, even after showing down with Boba Fett..."

Katarn's smile faded, "Hey, it's hard not to notice your armor and ship name; what relation do you have to Fett, if any at all?"

"Well..." Zofire pauses and looks down at the floor and then looks at both Katarn07 and Jokemaster. Zofire continues speaking, "...I don't know who are my parents. I was raised on Ziltenia and I found this armor is a case engraved with this symbol." She takes out her knecklance and shows them the symbol.

"There are many questions I will like to find out the answers to. Where did I come from...who are my parents. I know I am related to Jango and Boba Fett because of my last name. But then again...maybe I'm not" Zofire then approaches a window and continues speaking, "As for the ship, my father and I, or should I say foster father, found a blueprint on a ship in the same case that contained this Mandalorian armor. It took us 1 year to build that ship. Also a not was found that said Please take good care of Zofire Fett. By the writing, it was written by a women. Well after this mission, I'm going to continues to search for those answer to my many questions."

Katarn07 didn't speak. He looked over to a display monitor, "Looks like Jan has met us. We should arrive at 1500..."

He leaves Zofire alone but after dropping from hyperspace, two Z-95 headhunters intercept with front canons blazing. Katarn07 turns around, "Hey, Zofire! We've got company! Only defense I have on this thing is the main turrets, you know how to man them? Jokemaster? I am going to evade the goons until Jan arrives. She can take them out with ease for us, but in the meantime..."

The ship shakes from the blasts, and Katarn07 is forced to steady the YT-800 Celphi and evade further attacks.

"I know how to use just about any weapon."

*Zofire heads to the turret and starts it up*

"Give me the locations of these headhunters" Zofire shouts out to Katarn07

"I'll get the leader in your sites! The other one is to far out, but is just managing to hit my shield generator! We've gotta take him out to..."

Katarn07 turns the nose of the ship down and lets the top side where Zofire is manning a turret can have easy shots at the Headhunter.

"There! Fire at will!"

Zofire presses the trigger and tons of bolts from the turret starts to shread the armor of the Headhunter. Moments later, one of the Headhunter explodes.

"Got one!" Zofire screams out to both Jokemaster and Katarn07

Katarn07 pulls up on the stick to his ship, but can't get the other one in his sits, "Son of a Gundark... This guy is good!"

More blasts from the enemy ship hit the Celphi and the lights go out. Katarn07 frowns, "That's never happened before..." He peeks a glance at his display and sees his hyperdrive has been destroyed and he was currently leaking plasma coolent.

"Sithspit! Hey, we've got a problem. Cease fire, cease fire!" One more blast and we're done for..."

The Headhunter was moving in for a second attack run, got to its starting position, and then turned to aim its cannons at them. "Not good..."

It never began to attack, it had exploded into a burst of flames and debris. The Ravens Claw flew into the area and over the speakers Jan Ors voice was heard, "Sorry about my delay, Gunny. I had to deal with a few buggars myself. I hope you guys didn't get into to much trouble. We may have to reschedule your plans. You guys can't fly around Coruscant like that; you're going to have to land in the NRI base and borrow a ship of your own. I'm sure the worst one there is better the thing your flying..."

Katarn07 nods as he evens out his deflector shield and turns off his power to weapons, "Yeah, we are in quite a situation aren't we? Well, I hope my passengers don't mind the delay..." He shuts off the intercom, "Zofire, you hear? We're getting to get a tour of the NRI HQ... I hope this doesn't interfere with our original plan..."

*pockets a mini-computer*
"Jan is meeting us where?"

"She'll escort us from here to the NRI HQ. We'll have to land in a seperate area than she will, this bucket of bolts will have to be repaired... I will take you both to Jan at the HQ. She'll then take you, Jokemaster, to get your favors cashed in. I'll take Zofire to my alternate ship, a YT-2000 getting upgraded to my needs, and we'll get her ship."

Zofire says, "I've never been to the NRI, so going there will be a very interesting journey. I think we have plenty of time to crash that meeting on Coruscant."

Zofire stands up from the turret's seat, stretches, and heads to where Katarn07 and Jokemaster are at.

Zofire stands dead in her tracks with a frighten look on her face. "Where R9??" she asks.

In one of the rooms, Zofire, Jokemaster, and Katarn07 can here a slight whistling. Zofire heads towards the sound. The sound is coming from a pile of debris which was put there by the fight with the Headhunters.

"R9 is burried underneath all these debris!" she shouts out to Katarn07 and Jokemaster.

Katarn07 shouts to Zofire, "I have a tool kit in my quarters! Get it, there is enough tools in there to repair this ship in midflight! Except for my hyperdrive..."

Katarn07 uses the strength of the Force and his mechanical arm to unbury the R2 unit. He rolls it out finally and takes a break, "Everything seems to be alright on the outside... but you'd best check his insides. I know nothing about these things. I had an R5 unit once who blew his top in a week. I had no clue how to fix it. I'm sure you can do it though. If not, the NRI can. Jan Ors is a pretty nifty mechanic."

"I can fix just about everything." Zofire says with a smile.

Zofire then goes on one knee, and dusts off the debris.

"Everything is ok....thanks to this armor I put on him." Zofire says while tapping R9's body.

She then says to R9, "Everything is ok R9."

She then pats R9 on the head.

"That's good. Sorry about that. This ship has had its share of skirmishes with all sorts of enemies... I guess I have to reinfoce the plating along the bulheads huh?"

The console beeped. Katarn07 flipped it, "Gunny?"

"Go ahead Jan."

"We're about to enter Coruscant's atmosphere, and due to the difficult navigation, I advise you set autopilot to the NRI HQ. I am sending you encrypted coordinates for the base's docking bays..."

"Thanks alot Jan. When can we expect to get there?"

"15 minutes. Short flight. See you there."

Katarn07 turned off the link, "Well, Zofire, I think you should take him in for a polishing at least. I'm sure he can use an oil bath as well. I've never met an astromech like him..."

"Yeah, he sure needs a polishing now." Zofire laughs

*R9 whistles and beeps*

Zofire continues, "But he sure is one of a kind."

"Wow...." Katarn07 muttered and pointed through the front view port of his ship, "Jan's course was a fast one. We're here."

He sat down in the cockpit and watched as massive skyscrapers flew by them. In front of them was the Ravens Claw and it was on its way to the NRI HQ, a massive skyscraper surrounded by other New Republic Buildings.

"Welcome back, agent Katarn07." The voice belonged to a New Republic flight tower controller, "You need repairs. Land in docking bay 133. We will provide transport to the base from there. I believe your new ship is completed and is in Docking Bay 41."

"Ten-Four." Katarn07 replied and settled his ship down in a large circular base that had a landing pad in it. The YT-800 Celphi landed with a clatter and the occupants were tossed about for a bit. "Whoops, I guess I never got those landing gear fixed eiter..."

He led the other 3 out of the ship and they entered a taxi that took them instantly to the NRI HQ with haste. Once they arrived, Jan greeted them, "Gunny, long time no see. Kyle can't be here today. I suppose Mon Mothma told you about his mishap with Luke on their first mission together."

"Yeah, but that's nothing. Remember Guro and that explosion. Speaking of which, we found him. He's dead now; turns out he was working for Terayitro..."

She frowned, "Really? Then this guys more powerful then we thought. Guro was running a gambling operation right here on Coruscant for months, but we chased him away."

"That's what Teraytiro must be doing here, then."

"Maybe. We can talk later, in private I mean. Speaking of which, you haven't introduced me to your friends..."

Katarn07 nods, "Oh, right. That is Zofire, Jokemaster, and Zofire's companion, R2-R9. Think we can get him some maintence?"

"Sure thing. I can clean him up. Follow me."

Jan Ors leads them off into the NRI HQ.

"Really nice architecture this place has." Zofire says while she looks around.

"What do you know about Teraytiro Rodiar?" Zofire asks Jan Ors.

Jan looked to the young woman and frowned, "Kyle and I were assigned to infiltrate his base once somewhere in the outer rim. We barely escaped. He is a wealthy man, and with wealth comes power. He has all sorts of security fortifications. I'm sure his base here on Coruscant is highly guarded as well. Kyle can't work for a few months. That's why they assigned Gunny to this. He is just as nifty with a gun, but...."

"My Jedi skills are nothing to brag about," Katarn07 finished off Jan's thought.

Jan nodded and smiled at her partners clone, "Well, Teraytiro is ruthless and his goons will stop at nothing to do his will. Even if it means killing innocents..."

Katarn07 cleared his throat at her, "Zofire knows quite well how he operates..."

The four arrive at the maintence staion. Jan takes R9 in, "I'll take care of R9 for you. He should be ready in no more than half an hour. Gunny, take Jokemaster to Mon Mothma and then take Zofire to your new ship. I thook it for a test run and let me tell you, it's a lot smoother ride than your Celphi..."

"I'll bet. Did you modify it like I asked?"

"Yeah, everything you requested is on it. The ship is better than both the Ravens Claw and my last ship, the Moldy Crow put together, Gunny. It'll help you out."

"Thanks alot Jan." He left Jan Ors and R9 and showed Jokemaster to a lift, "Mon Mothma is up here. Just ask the secretary to see her and tell her Gunny sent you. She'll make sure you get your favors fulfilled.

Katarn07 and Zofire walked down to the docking bays alone now, "OK. My new ship is great. I mean, Jan Ors modified it... We'll get your ship, pick up Jokemaster, and will be on our way. Sound good?"

Zofire nods her head.

Zofire speaks, "I never knew that scum had a base on Coruscant."

Zofire then looks around, smiles, and asks Katarn07, "Is there anything to eatin this place?"

"Best food is not here. It is just outside of New Republic territory, in the lower levels. I have a few buddies there that'll meet up with us. Maybe they know something about the whereabouts of Teraytiro too. I'll take you there on the way to Slave II."

The two arrive to Docking Bay 41, "Ahh. That's my new ship. The Sable Dove. Jan named it; she claims it flys as graceful as some bird called a dove. They're native to her homeworld of Alderaan."

Katarn07 takes her aboard, "All right. Here we are. Oh, I wouldn't wear that armor into the joint. You'll draw to much attention; especially if Teraytiro has some goons there."

he pulls back the lever and takes off, and flys the Sable Dove off to the lower levels of the planet.

"Oh, no problem." Zofire says as she starts taking off her armor. "Where should I put it?"

"There is a cargo compartment hidden to the left there, yeah." Katarn07 says after Zofire looks to a shadowy corner, "Put it there. If any one asks, you are a new agent for the NRI. Your name is Zo. Let's see if my pals are there. They have really good Nerf Steak there; Bantha Burgers; Bantha Stew; Womp Rat Chili... you name it, they've got it."

Katarn07 lands the Sable Dove several klics from the restraunt and they go off by foot. They were about to arrive when a Rodian bumped shoulders with Katarn07. Katarn07 swings around, expecting him to be Teraytiro's goons, but relizes it is Wra'fo, an ex-agent for the Rebellion turned bounty hunter, "Hey, Wra'fo. Long time no see. How you been keeping yourself busy?"

The Rodian shrugs, "I dunno, Gunny, drinking off my failures at AJ's Place."

"I'm headed here with my new partner, Zo. Wanna join us?"

"You buy me a Corellian Ale?"

"Umm... Looks like you have had a few to many, actually. How about some Java Juice?"

"You paying? Why not..."

The three go into AJ's Place, a little joint set up with neon lights in the window and some droid waitrsses, "What can I get you? Something to drink?"

Katarn07 points to Wra'fo, "He'll have a Java Juice. I'll have a Rodian Gin, and she'll have a..." Katarn07 looks to Zofire. Without her armor on, it is evident how young she really is, "Make it three Java Juices. Forget the gyn."

While waiting for the drinks, Zofire looks around the place. "Interesting.." she mumbles to herself.

"So, Wra'fo, got any info on a guy called Teraytiro Rodiar?"

The Rodian takes the drinks from the tray the droid sets down and hands them out, "Yeah. Yeah, my brother works for him. He's a dealer of sabacc at a club called Bantha Oasis. Know of it?"

Katarn07 nodded as helped the drunk Rodian add sugar to his drink, "Yeah. Yeah, as a matter of fact we were on our way there. You know what Teraytiro's doing there?"

"Uhhh... Nope. He makes alot of money. He had a Weequay running the place, but the NRI chased him away... Teraytiro runs the place now. My brother is made for life for his income!"

"Well, thanks for the info. I guess we can eat now. Excuse me, we're ready to order."

The waitress droid arrives and takes out a PDA and says, "Alright honey. What're you having?"

"We'll have a Nerf Steak dinner."

"Alright, that is our special today. It'll be out in a jiffy."

The waitress leaves and Wra'fo is developing a hangover as he sobers up. Katarn07 looks to Zofire and whispers, "So, what do you think? Should we go in by force or sneak into the base? They'll recognize me, but Jokemaster and you, without your armor, can visit as a couple of gamblers? Find out as much as you can, and then I will come with your equipment with Jan as our air support. We can take Teraytiro by force..."

Wra'fo hits his head on the table and swears, "Son of a Gundark!!!"

Katarn07 smiles at his old friend and gives the rest of his Java Juice to him.

Zofire whispers to Katarn07, "Yeah, we will get more information on Teraytiro that way. Anyways, I prefer sneaking into the base. This will let us have the upper hand. Once in the base, I know we can get tons of information and maybe even stop Teraytiro in his tracks."
