Lord Trinion sat in his golden thrown, his golden armour gleamed from the green light given off by the gigantic dimond glowing in the center of the room.
Footsteps tapped from the distance and soon grew louder until the door swung open. "My Lord!" Shouted Mega Man. "The castle province border has been breached! Zero has taken the military to the frontline but I fear we will be over run." Mega Man paused to catch his breath.
"Has preparation been taken for my escape?" Lord Trinion asked as he leaned forward from his chair.
"Yes my Lord," Mega Man said with a nod. "Your shuttle is being prepared as we speak and your escort will be hear soon to take you to the eternal land."
"Good, there I will authorize the resurection." Lord Trinion rose to his feet. "Go to Farside and gather the best wariors from the six tribes of light. I will have special assignments for you and the warriors when you report in two days."
"Let us hope that Zero will be able to hold out for that long."
"I have faith in Zero, he'll think of a way."
"God speed my Lord." Mega Man turned to leave and as he descended the stairs the royal gaurd ascended in thier green armour and capes.

"Zero we're aproaching the vector," The pilot called back.
"Good, do you have clearence?" Zero rested his hands on the two pilot chairs on either side of him.
"Yes sir!" The co-pilot answered.
Zero turned to the troops in the back of the dropship. "Troops wear landing now, the base is already under attack, be ready for battle as soon as you disembark." Zero was rewarded with a nod from his infantry. "Watch out for launcher tanks, thier only weakness is disabling thier treads and rendering them imo-" Zero was cut off when the ship learched to the side and threw him off his feet.
"We're under fire sir!" The co-pilot called back. "Enemy fighter ships incoming! Coster, man the g-" A loud smash and the ship jolted harder than ever.
"What was that?!?" Zero shouted ahead as he recovered from his hands and knees again.
"The co-pilot's dead," The pilot responded, covering the unprotected lower half of his face with his arm, trying to protect himself from the blasting wind coming in from the shatered windshield. "I've lost visibility, and the controlls are jamed, we're going down"
*Ding is looking through his binoculars*
Ding: Those fighter guys did the job right for once
Squad Leader: Move in
*squad moves closer to where shuttle will probably crash*
Maximus:"True that for once they did make a direct hit, and once
that ship crashes,be prepared. I heard that there's a
highly skilled reploid from Mecha 7 on that aircraft.
Name's Zero, I think."
Maximus:"Troops, be on guard for any hostile Mecha 7 warriors!"
*looks toward Ding with a smile on his face.*
Maximus: "I just hope this 'Zero' gives a challenge that would
be an honorable one to remember! So far no has been able to defeat our forces, due to our superior technology and highly advanced weapons!"

Mach Z(one from zeros unit)"Sir. I dont understand why we dont parachute! If we stay in this ship we are gonners!!!"

Zero Replys "if we jump out we would be defensless agains the enemy fire!!! We have a greater chance of servival if we stay in the dropship!!!"
Mach Z "Yes sir!"
Piolate "4000 feet!!!"
Zero" OK! lets have our final count before we hit the ground"

*Zero then prepares with the crash procedures when he notices a large fleet of enemy troops Moving in on there crash location*
Zero "Every one ready"

Piolate "1000 Feet!!!! Brace for impact!!!!!!!!"

"Tazran!" Shouts an officer from his position on the battle field across to another groop of soldiers firing across the scorced earth.
"Yes sir!" the reply comes a moment later as a young sergant crosses over to his officer.
"Take your men over to the crash site and secure the downed ship, it will no doubt be attacked be Zarch forces, try to get there as soon as you can." The officer explains to the eager young man.
"What crash site sir?" Tazran asks looking around. Suddenly an cloud of dirt and debres fly from the ground and a pilar of smoke rises. "Oh, that one."
Tazran heads back to his platoon and gathers his men, as they prepare to head over Tazran notices a glow of laser blasts shooting back and forth from the crash site and a groop of the yellow uniformed Zarch soldiers.

Zero shook his head to clear the diziness, as he looked around he noticed colourfull light erupting around him.
"Sir get up." the pilot says shaking his shoulder. The pilot helps Zero to his feet.
Leaning out the open hole in the wall Zero over looks the battle. A much larger groop of Zarch soldiers has his squad pinned down. Zero takes his saber off his shoulder and ignites it.
"Behind us!" The pilot shouts.
Zero turns in time to see a blue blast coming straight for him and deflects it with his sword. The pilot fires a few shots at the yellow Zarch soldiers now taking refuge in the ruble above them, before ducking into the downed ship.
Zero rushes forward deflecting a few more shots. Batting the shots to the ground he rushes up the rubble and debris. Then he leaps forward landing with his blade glowing through the chest of the Zarch trooper.
Zero draws his sword from his victim and leaps away batting down a blast from the air. He lands behind another trooper and cleaves him in two. Zero blocks a couple more shots and ducks behind a boulder.
'this looks tight, this just might be the one to finish us off'
Maximus (looking through binoculars):"Hmmm, from what I see in the distance, looks like our prize is coming into view, with a few more victims for us to kill. Ding, prepare my ride armor, I'm going in!"
*unholsters the z-sabers from the right and left hip holsters, then upgrades his armor to its maximum.........Dark Falcon Armor.*
"This one could be tough, I'm going with you."
*upgrades his armor*
"Zero! Zero." Tazran calls out as the dust settles and his troops head over to help the other pinned down Mechs in there struggle.
"Hun?" Zero stutters as he peeks from behind the rock.
"I'ts okay Zero you can come out now." Tazran assures. "Come on, your sqad needs help."
Tazran and Zero head down the rubble crater to the other side of the ship, where Zero's sqad is pinned down.
Leaning against the ship Zero leans around the corner taking a carefull glance at the situation. Several of Tazran's men lay dead and wounded between Zero and his sqad now backed up by Tazran's troops. Theyve taken cover behind the rubble and jutting rocks at the edge of the crater caused by the ships impact. The Mechs share volleys of laser fire with the Zarch soldiers.
"Come on Tazran, We'll go around and come in from behind." Zero suggests.
The two head back to the rear of the ship and climb the rubble. Keeping there heads down they head around to the front outside the crater's edge. But they don't get far when they notice Two new foes.
Maximus:"I'm suprised you two made it this far! But it was all for a worthless cause! You cannot defeat us!"
Zero:"You talk tough, but can you back up your words?"
Ding:"We can do more than back up our words! Watch!"
*Ding quickly strikes down a helpless citizen.*
Zero:"No! You'll pay for what you have done!"
*Zero charges towards Ding, z-saber fully powered.*
Maximus:"I don't think so!"
*Zero instantly freezes in his tracks, clutching his head in pain.*
Zero:"Who are you? Tell me. Tell me now!"
*breaks out of shock and charges Maximus. Maximus just disappears, evading Zero's attack, then re-appears with a fully charged triple rod, slicing off Zero's left hand.*
*sneaks up behind Tazran and holds him with blaster to his head*
"HEY Zero, surrender or he gets it"
Zero:"No way I'll surrender!"
Maximus:"I suggest doing what he says, Zero. Trust me, you
don't want your partner dead now, do ya?"
Zero:"No! I will not give in to your kind, maverick! I'll save Tazran,
even if I have to sacrifice my own life in a trade!"
Maximus:"You're really willing to do that, aren't you? I guess we could spare your partner's life, Zero, but then that wouldn't be our line of programming, right Ding?"
*shoots at the ground barely misssing Tazran*
"Last chance, or he won't be able to do anything exept lie down"
Zero becomes unsure of what he should do.
Maximus:"Tick tock, tick tock. Time's running out Zero. Surrender and we may just let him live, or attack and see your friend go to pieces!"
Tazran:"Zero, attack them! It doesn't matter if I live or not!"
Zero:"No! I will not risk losing casualties!"
Maximus:"Make your choice, maverick hunter! Your friend's life is
at stake!"
Zero:"Fine. I surrender."
Maximus:"Good. Ding, stun him. I've got an idea......."
*takes out a virus-infected computer chip with a defection program.*
Maximus:"Why kill an enemy when your foe
can become an ally of evil instead?"
"Good Idea"
*suddenly, from not far away they see the Mecha backup heading there*
"no time, You take this guy *points at Tazran* Ill take Zero, we'll do it on the ride home, I'll cover you from behind"
Maximus quickly implants the corruption virus into Tazran's memory banks before taking off with Ding.
Maximus:"That should do us some good. Now they'll never be able to work for the side of good again. All they will ever do is obey our orders from now on! Muahahahahahahahahaaaaa!!!!!!!!"
*calls for pickup through radio*
"They'll pick us up in an elevated clearing near here *blaster bolt barely misses him* let's go"
*Maximus and Ding head full speed to the clearing, a helicopter like ship waiting*
"Let's move out of here before their troops catch up!"
*quickly hops onto the helicopter, an unconscious Zero hung across his shoulder.*
"X will definitely have a suprise waiting for him at the base when he tries to come rescue his buddies. This is too good to be true."
Pilot: We have to pass an air base, these guys will cover us
*about 6 ships come up*
Pilot: There's some guns with scopes on the sides of this thing, use them
*Ding and Maximus get on the guns and prepare themselves for the battle*
Ding: Last one to get a kill buys the drinks
Pilot: Hope you're not including me in that bet.
Ding: Why not, we'll get free drinks that way
Maximus:"So, what kind of drink would you like if I lose the
bet?
*Maximus starts blasting enemy ships like crazy.*
Maximus:"14 down. 15 more to go. It's kind of getting crowded in here. I'll go out in the Falcon Armor and kill them myself. "
*Switches to Falcon Armor and ejects from the ship.*
Maximus:"Keep moving, I'll provide cover!"
*suddenly, one of the ships providing cover blows up *
"ROCKETS" Screams a voice on the radio
*Ding quickly turns around to the source of the rocket, only to see it aim directly at him, fires a round into him just before he fires, causing the rocket to blow up above him, sending sharpnel into the cockpit and engines, killing the pilot and losing several engines*
*Ding sees dead pilot and damaged engines*
"Maximus, I need some help over here, the pilots dead, repeat, the pilot's dead"
*tunes radio to enemy frequency in time to hear the following*
"all personel, they have prisoners on the center craft, do not damage craft, repeat, do not damage craft. Bring it down with an EMP"
*EMP hits ship, disabling everything (including the viruses, but that is not known)*
"Come on Come on"
*Ding turns the engines on and off several times until finally he manages to keep the ship at enough power to fly*
"Maximus, head home, the engines can't carry too much weight"
*throws pilot's body off the craft and tries to limp back to base*
Maximus:"Roger that. Hang on, I'm coming to help you make it back safely!"
*Lands on the ground.*
Maximus:"You okay? Is anything we need damaged?"
"Hold on, let me check... I lost a couple of engines and power, fried the computer systems, the windshield won't stand a lot, and the engine can only work at 1/3 power. I think ill be able to make it"
Commander Tread sat in his command post and yelled orders over his radio!
"Roger Command, flight two is changing course. We'll send what troops we have to aid the rescue!" Might acknowledged over his radio.
The six fighter ships broke frome the rest of the fleet mixed up in an air battle. They headed towards the comotion on the other side of the base.
Back at the Base the assult team suted up and readied thier gear. "Alright team, our orders are to head over to the crash site when the flight team takes out the bomber and recover Zero from captivity. Is it understood?" HeavyShell asked his sqad of six troopers.
"Yes sir!" came the reply.
They loaded thier weapons and awaited further instruction.
*hears radio signals*
"great, Maximus we got incoming, can you call for backup? This radio is wrecked for anything except listening
"Yeah. I've got a radio implant in my head gear. I'll switch to frequency 7 and call in our guys."
*radios in for back up.*
"Base, we've got incoming Mechas chasing us. Send back up. Copy, over."
Zarch transmissions operator:"Roger that, leader 1."
* a siren starts blaring back at Zarch Base.*
"All troops! We've got a 7109 reported in the desert terminal from General Maximus! Head there immediately!"
*troops start heading towards their war planes.*
"manuvering in a combat situation with 2 engines left, this is gonna land us in the history books, if it doesn't crash-land us first"
Zarch Combat Choppers appear in the distance.
Zarch Pilot:"General Maximus, Lieutenant Ding, We'll take over this area now. You two hurry to the base and complete your assignment!"
Maximus:"Thank you."
Pilot:"No prob."
*Maximus bursts into full blazing speed in order to catch Ding's fighter, and makes it in time to latch on to the hull and slowly land the plane.*
"about time, be careful where you step Maximus, we only got 2 engines left"
"Roger that."
*The base comes slowly into view.*
"Ding, we're almost home! Just 1 more mile further, then we can get this thing repaired. How are our prisoners doing?"
"They're knocked out, but they should be alright. Think they'll pay the ransom?"
"Yeah, unless Zero and that other guy destroy our enemies after they awaken."
I'm not really going to bother with this story any more.
