Once again, welcome everyone. I hope we all have some good clean fun here, I know I will.

I'm putting this sticky up to collect some feedback on these new boards. Post any type of comment you want, and definitely make requests, we will certainly consider them. Thanks to everyone who has helped make this board come to life and happy posting!

Like Redwing stated somewhere else... there is no RPG forum... is that gonna be here to? or are you gonna leave that to the other forums?

and i realy like Tyrions idea about that fan board.

Yeah, a fanart board is a very good idea.

I just wanted to say I like the colour scheme and banners, who made them? Very good job.

As the others have suggested, since this is a SW based group of forums, the more diversity the better. There is so many different bits and pieces to do with the SW universe and those that follow it, to keep things in order, give them plenty of places to keep them all on topic...

Fanart could be cool ... and the first contest would be to design a new banner !!!! Not that this one is bad ... it could be better and there's a lot of talent around here.

I suggested the idea for a collecting board! :D And they said it wouldn't be done. :)

Only thign we need is more peopel to come to the Colllecting Board. :D

well. i would... but the only thing i collect are:
the original dragon ball books
the official star wars fact files.

and i dont think they will make great conversations there :p

Perhaps a SW General Discussion forum would be a good addition. Talk anything related to SW. Maybe The Cantina can be for that but think about it anyway. :)

We are discussing the rpg forum, but there already is a ton...maybe we can consolidate them. We're still trying to decide what to do exactly.

Tyrion > I agree that a fan art board is a great idea, but I need to discuss that idea with the other LF admins/supermods before I can set anything in stone. I'll talk to them about both ideas and get back to you guys ASAP.

OK, the word on the fan art board is that we certainly can have it, but the only problem is we cannot host the files on our server. In order for it to work, people's work would need to be uploaded to their own server and then linked to from the fan art board. So, I'm not sure if that would be what everyone wants...

Anyways,what I thought was.

You'd get your own server and host it,or you save enough credits to attach one.

That way the Fan Art board wont be flooded with bad pictures,instead only the best of the person's pictures will.

Nah. If everyone had a picture in the sig,it'd cause tons of lag for the 56k'ers.

Edit- Unless they allowed my optional disable-if-you-want-to idea.

See, if you're smart then you put your gender in your name, then no one can get you confused. Then again, leXX's gender is in her name and people still get it confused.....

Oh, and you don't have female avatars. *stares at Redwing and Niner* ;)

Anyways, we have a RPG forum on GB.com and it started off really well. then our GM died/left, so it fell off the charts. I think consolidating them is a good idea. That way people from all different forums can play together without getting dangerously close to the...ah...swamp. ;)

The only flaw I can see though is that not many people are making FanFilms. :o

So how about a Fan Activities board? This board would include:

Collecting
Fan Stories
Fan Art
Fan Films
Fan Sites
Role Playing Forum

It would basicly be like TheForce.net's community boards (http://boards.theforce.net/default.asp?cat=10006), but all meshed into one
