Guess I'm the oldest so far that has posted. I'm 37, have a son that may play also older than some of you, heh. He's 15.
How do you figure 30+ is too old? Is 32 too old to play a game? If so, then screw whoever makes those rules. I've been playing MMORPG's for at least 6 years and some of the most childish people I've met I found out later were older than I am. And some of the most mature have been "kids". Yeah I can do without the Leet speak or whatever that horse puckey is, but I can also ignore it and play the way I want to play...
I've got a friend that will probably be playing SWG and will possibly join the Associates also, but he hasn't made his mind up yet. He's 52 and I'm quite sure he won't think he's too old for this PA.
I don't have a problem with older people playing games. But the thing is, should I squabble with players senior to me; I feel that as the younger one I would have to respect him. Damn my Korean heritage! :mad:
There is nothing wrong with respecting older people, however that should not mean that you can't discuss with them Ingrown. Age on the internet doesn't mean much.
It would be great if your 52 y/o friend would join the =A= Ashmaster! I'm sure he can contribute alot with his years of experience.
I would have to agree with Ingrown, that yes ya should "respect"your seniors, however I think their is a more appopriate word than "respect" hmmm something more along the lines of OBEY . Now bow to me young fighter !

Yeah, you should respect older people but in real life. As was said, age doesn't mean much online. But if you want to respect them, hell, that's fine by me...just make sure that as i am the founder you bow to me first =)
But the at really depends on how old you are. I'm 16, so how old are you guys? And by respecting my seniors, I mean respecting those that have set up a stable career, or in my ideology have done something worthy of my respect.
It does not matter wether you are young or old. You respect people nonetheless. :)

Well, I'm 21 now, and I must say that I have had less problem online with people older than me than I've had with younger people. Perhaps because they are more common, but I also believe that really young people (read 13-16) often think that they have to prove that they are so tough, which leads to general obnoxiousness. Thankfully, there has been few such people here, at least when I was around.
I'm glad that the age in the Associates are one notch higher than what I am used to: I'm a kindergarden teacher at work, I don't like the thought of having to be it in my spare time too ;)!
