I noticed a little yellow light shinning on the rock wall to the left of the elevator room to the key. It looks like it is shinning through from the secret area. dunno if it was intentional or not...

also, when I turned my brightness up all the way, I noticed some small round white things on the ground in the caves outside. I assume these are just rocks, but they look a bit funny.

The yellow light is an lightning error. I have no idea what it is. Itґs the last thing I desperatly tried to fix.

It seems like it is coming from the z point (grid xyz <0 0 0>) and it has the same color as some of our shaders (there is no yellow light entity in Secret Base).

If anyone knows what this is.... plz tell me :(

yeah, those rocks havenґt the right color but they are exactly where you left them in the original level ;)

the rocks should have the same "skin" as the ground outside. I did change them about a week before the release. Perhaps MilesTeg you have the older skin from Fracman still??

hm... but they are still too bright compared with the other rocks...

Maybe we should darken them a bit?

I haven't messed around with the mapping at all from JO, but if the light is comming from a certain point, can't you just move the enitire map up or down or something? just a thought

Just a quick note; the area with the switch opening the door to the switch to the elevator to the big secret area has a bit in the top of the cave where the void is visble as a thin hairline crack. Not very noticeable, but it's there all the same.

@ ForceCommander: sometimes solutions are just too obvious to find them... thx ;)
It isnґt the holy grail but it worked...

@Geoffrey S: lol, it took me an hour to find it... I will see if I can cork the opening :D

Glad I could help Miles. There were plenty of times I looked over the most obvious solutions in my custom level desinging with Deus Ex. That same light situation came up for me once when I was doing that. And I just remembered it the other night :p
