Just a few more things....
1.) I think the jacket's sleeves could be longer.
2.) You might want to make him a belt with a belt buckle (like the figure).
3.) You could smooth out (modeling wise) the top of his feet.

Cool, he's looking even better!
One thing though...from the new picture you posted, it appears as if his feet/boots still have a big seam or crease on the top portion of the feet that go up to the leg. So, you could try to further smooth those out or you could make new boots -- they might turn out nice. :)
And, oh yeah, I can't wait to see the more detailed face.

Ok... you have 2 choices as for what you can do with Mr. Baba's hands.
1. His actual hand: A big tenatacle tipped flipper thing with suction cups.
2. His chopped off ANH prop accident hand: Humanlike hand with claws and fur.
Which one you do is all up to you, but I recommend the flipper-tentacle hand, as that's what the Aqualish species actually has.

actually, there are sub-species. some have the flippers, other have 5 (or 3 in the case of prequel aqualish) fingered hands. both the essential guide and the ponda baba action figure have the latter (5 fingures).

I think you really should finish your snowtrooper model before working on this model, :) it would give you more time to work on this afterwards :D

i was trying to make a test for it ingame (glm file),.. but i dont understand whats on the addendum text,....
i must use the allign tool (select the bolt_, press alt+a and then select what i want to allign the bolt to).,.. i dont know how

Hands and Boots :
hmm dunno if i change that,... i must know what other guys think of it :) it has now three fingers ,... i can still change it in a few secs. The boots are now different, it had shoes now it has real boots like the actionfigure.
Head :
It also have some hair on the lower of his head ,.. i dont know how to gonna make that ,.... maybe someone could bring a shader on it :) ,.....
Im still working on the eyes ,.. so it looks more "evil"",.. it also have more detail (not much),.. new pics soon ;)
Torso and Legs:
I have worked on the shoulders and the rest of the arm it looks better now. :) Some guy told that the color of the jacket is not right :confused: what color must it be ? darker/lighter ?
I need pics of his legs, I have the actionfigure of it its kinda dark braun.... i have done it like that, but i need to see the right color that they use in Episode IV.

Yeah i'll do it, but it might take a while, i'm working on other projects and marz could need some help with his rigging.

I noticed the arm was shorter, i thought my skeleton got screwed up at some point.
By the way, which texture should i use for the boots?
something with black :) doesnt matter ,.. use a standard Jk2 model one ,.. or make something by yourself

It's moving slowly...i got to hang out with good buddies of mine for these few past weeks so very little has been done.
I'm not the quickest "compiler" out there but i'll do my best.
Here's what i've done this weekend:
-Added sections to the knees
-Fixed a big hole in the hands
-Deleted unecessary faces for the torso (under the jacket)
-Mirrored the head/mouth for symetry
-Welded some vertices (open edges)
-Fixed some holes in the shoulders
Today
-Weighted/linked the whole thing together
-Sucessfully exported to .glm with error message...
What needs to be done:
-Caps/Re- Hierarchy
-Weight the fingers
-Reduce the number of polys on the head (that's the error message from carcass...)
I'll send the early beta to scout tommorow (it wont load in JK2 but it works fine in modview.)

Alright now i'm pissed, everything should be ready to go in-game but the game itself, not carcass, is saying bones are missing or animation invalid or somthin like that.
Everything looks fine in modview, but i noticed the compiler reports only 30 bones present, wtf is that? my other models have at least 60 including facial anims.
Other models work fine in game...so i dunno what the hell is going on.
I usually fix what's wrong when i get error messages, but i get none this time. :mad:
Anyone can help?

I fixed it, i had to re-do the weighting from scratch using another skeleton, it works in-game now.
I still have some problems that i didnt have before (mostly related to how the arms were attached to the chest)...this model is cursed!!!!! :eek: I hope another chest re-weight can fix that.

I think im going to make some more skins, like the ones that are on Episode 2 :)
Sorry for taking so long man, if only the first skeleton would have worked in-game, i think you'd be playing with him right now hehe.
