Disassembling the scripts from SCUMM games can bring up some interesting messages you've never seen. Here's one from MI2:

- Error: Tell Tim To Add More Planks!

I know of more, but I can't get them posted right now.

hahaha. Someone send Tim an email saying "Did you add all the planks needed?" and that's it.

Here are some obscure things I doubt people notice:

- Win every prize gambling, and watch what happens. (MI2)
- Step behind the waterfall when you are covered with feathers. (CMI)
- Press Escape during Cob's sales pitch. (MI1)

You cant in the game , to see that error you have to dissassemble/rip the script files like check said.
You can use the descumm5.exe that comes with scummvm

Yeah, I remember there were plenty of debug messages in the sword-fight code in Monkey Island 1. I just remembered something from Fate of Atlantis:
Warning! Wrong platform command!

Shouldn't this be written in Mixnmojo too? I'm sure there's a lot of people not knowing it.

It's funny to see the hidden stuff, but how can I dissamble with the programs included in SCUMMVM? Instruction please:p

I've found some in Day of the Tentacle!

we found a trigger on the queue!
no trigger in the queue. just starting the sound
sound was already running. not doing anything.
error flag is not 2

Here's an error message in FOA that I found amusing:

This object has no name. Notify the scriptors immediately.

Indy actually says this to you.:)

It's a message from Day of the Tentacle. I didn't actually "change a room." Hate to burst your bubble.

I remember seeing dialogue inside a savegame on my Amiga version of MI2 that wasn't ever used. Strange: INSIDE the SAVED game file!

I'm sure there's more!

Well, a quick look inside a random monkey1 saved game shows me this:

'Well, I can't do it, I hurt my hand taming the lions last week..know why I bothered you with it...I'll have him taken care of myself..p, leaving no survivors..lor, Peter Chan and.Ron Lussier'

The saved game is from the circus tent
The 1st bit of dialogue is obiously from there
The 2nd bit is from the 1st lechuck cutscene
The 3rd bit is..well dunno.

EDIT
The 3rd bit appears inside many saved games, perhaps its just a placeholder or sumt.
