I like how the "classic" SW ships look, but I don't know how well they will come in handle until I play it.
What is the Z-95? My favorite is the N-1, I like it. The Naboo Bomber also looks very cool. I like the Naboo starships in general. they have a cool yellow color.

I wish the Tie Advanced was in the game, or a Tie Defender. I'm sure the Tie Fighter must be the worst fighter in the game. Hopefully you can upgrade the Fighter into one of those (or both!).
The Z-95 is basically an X-Wing with the "power" of a Tie Fighter;)

The N-1 is definately the coolest fighter in the game that we've seen or know of so far, but i have a feeling that the y-wing will be the most powerfull, although it will probably be the slowest too.
The N-1 has a very sleek look so I like it the best so far. Followed closely by that was the X-Wing. Tie fighters seem like a cheap throw away unit but the X-wing and N-1 are probably strong enough so that you can make a force out of them.
We dont even know the names of the ships yet!:eek:
The N-1 is like the A-wing fast, agile, but pretty weak but still looks cool. The X-wing is my fav, its a good inbetween and powerful fighter.

Be the way the Z-95 is a much weaker version of a X-wing.
Since you didn't have the TIE Defender...I voted X-Wing (new model in NJO kicks)

Well, i voted X-wing...seems to be the best well-rounded fighter....it would be cool if the S-foils would close while sitting still and open up when they move to attack.:x-wing:
well, it's too early to vote for me. however, the x-wing wouldn't be a bad bet b/c of it's combo of armor, weapons, and speed...
I like the look of the N-1 but I love my X-wing (based purely on looks that is)
Why is the N-1 so popular? I dislike them. I don't like their look, in general. Oh well, maybe my opinion'll change if their a decent fighter in the game.

Yeah the X-wing is one reason why the rebels have the number one air force in the game from what Mr. Fixit said.
The z-95 Headhunteris actually one of the most common starfighters in the galaxy. Even though it is an older design, it is still used by criminal organizations, Rebels, Smugglers, and planetary governments.
Built by the same company as the X-Wing, Incom, it is very similar to the X-Wing. But instead of two s-foils on each side, it only has one s-foil on each side. So instead of looking like an X it looks like a straight line.
It is usually armed with a pair of laser cannons and a pair of concussion missile launchers. Modified Z-95s do vary however.
Han Solo flew a Z-95 against a Corporate Sector Maurador Corvette to protect a group of outlaw techs. Solo used the headhuinters supeiror atmosphere capabilities to good advantage against the Authority's IRDs. Han Solo at Stars En
Mara Jade also owned a Z-95, although her's was modified heavily. It had a hyperdrive and participated in the Battle for the KAtana Fleet. It was nearly destroyed in the battle, but she recovered it and used it as her courrier ship for many other occasions. Thrawn Trilogy (Heir of Empire, Dark Force Rising, Last Command) Jedi Academy (Jedi Search, Dark Apprentice, Champions of the Force).
I don't think I can say until the game comes out, but I am kind of leaning towards the Imps. I can't way to get my hands on a TIE Interceptor or a TIE Advanced X-1. :D

Yeah...too bad neither of those are in the game. Maybe they are in the scenario editor. the imps have the TIE Fighter and the TIE Bomber. As you can no doubt see, the TIE Interceptor ins't on the list, and the TIE Advanced X1 certainly isn't.
I also can't wait to use the Falcon. I wonder how good that will be.

I thought each civ got 3 fighters.....if thats true, whats the 3rd Imperial one? Or is that just wrong?

Sorry, but the Interceptor ins't in their, unless you can upgrade to it, which i doubt.
Sorry if im wrong, but im pretty sure ive seen tie interceptors in one of the movies ( i think it was the 1st movie,its about 2 minutes long ). Theres a short clip of an imperail base, it shows lots of tie fighters and bombers, and what looks like 2 interceptors near a group of stormtroopers.

I just watched the movies and all i see are tie bombers, no interceptors anywhere in sight. Besides, garry already said that the civs would have a fighter a bomber and and a transport, not 2 fighters and bomber and a transport. And, if you really saw tie/ln's, tie bombers, AND tie interceptors, then the TIE cannot be upgraded to the Int, as all of the TIE/ln's would become Int's.
Actually I thought he said they would have 3 fighters... Also in one of his interviews, he said Intercepters would be included...

There is an A-wing. It is only avalable in the Editor though.

In the post here, gaber specifically said that the Wookies had a fighter (agr) bomber(?), and the transport(?). At last count, that is only two fighters and one transport. Sorry, but unless TIE/ln's are upgrade to Ints they aren't gonna be in the game. What interview was it where he said intercepters were in the game?

as for variations on the X-Wing/ Z-95....only those two unless you count the upgraded model of the X-Wing in NJO.

either the imps get their upgrade or the rebels don't get their headhunter and x- wing. this is all very logical. if all civs have the same units and techs, then the imps will have their upgrade because the z-95 is upgraded to become the x-wing. there is a posibility that the z-95 and x-wing are the reason the rebels got their superior rating in air power. remember that the naboo got the same rating in mr. fixits preveiw. i also heard that the imps would have the intercepter from some reveiw.:cool:
X-wings RULE!!! I hate the N-1 Fighter it just doesnt look like its very good. Wheres the A-wings?? They would be my second choice!!
